Breakfast needs to be improved as you only have toast and cereal. Get a cork screw at reception doesn't cost much, had a bottle of wine which i couldn't open.

Summary
They were renovating the building. Thus the heating wasn t working
The room carpet was old and dirty.
The price we paid was ok for the service we had, however I was expecting a cleaner environment.
It was a extremely good bargain :)
Summary
Bad for breakfast. . . Bit like a bunfight!
Summary
I was staying here for one night before London Marathon. The room was very basic but clean, and I thought it was great that they started serving breakfast early especially for the marathon runners. The hotel is being refurbished so doesn't look in the best of states but considering the price (£39 for a twin room), I can't really complain!
Summary
Very comfortable, helpful & pleasant staff upon arrival and throughout our stay. The hotel is in need of refurbishment which will be a great benefit, the hotel and price is described as per detail you would expect on as a typical low cost budget hotel to escape the overpriced hotels in the centre.
Summary
Everything was spot on
Summary
The first room we were shown in the new part of the hotel was very basic more suiyed to students However the receptionist was very helpful and found us a lovely room on the first floor. the only negative was the breakfast room on the lower floor the steps were abit much for my sister who has hip problems. overall we enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again but not in the new part
Summary
Hotel looks dilapidated on the outside, but most of the rooms are under refurbishment so this can be forgiven. The rooms themselves (renovated) are clean and tidy, however they are only cotton sheets if you wish for a duvet then i would advise taking your own.
The hotel is very affordable and the staff are friendly and welcoming.
The Breakfast meets the usual standard that you expect to see.
Both my Mum and her travel partner agreed that given the price the hotel was not bad, minor improvements could be made.
The hotel was under reconstruction- there was no information about that. The room was clean, but the style is very old, really needs reconstruction.
Summary
The room was clean ,as was the linen. However there was a wobbly tile in the bathroom which smelt of drainage.Only one room light worked +we asked if the flickering bathroom light might be replaced, which didnt happen, luckily we are not epilectic so we managed.Shame about the breakfast room which seemed a long way away, promising decor tho once the furniture is sorted, didnt like the loose covers on chairs, but thats only my opinion.trying to use the internet was rather difficult as the password wasnt correct .Aside from that the staff were friendly and helpfull ,I would be interested to visit again when the hotel is completed.
Summary
I´d recommend if you´re just for a few days in town, the neighbourhood it is not the best especially at night.
Summary
Small room that was newly renivated, found easy to travel and good location near torist attractions a bus route outside hotel to all major areas. Paid in advance good price for what we had and was comfortable for a weekend of traveling around london.
Summary
The room was nice and the workers were super helpful. However, it is in a bad part of town. I thought my family was going to get robbed on our way to the airport early in the morning. If you are planning on being out when it is not daylight I would not plan on staying here.
Summary
I reached the lodge at night and not easily to locate it in the absence of sign board nearby. I found no power supply when entering room for 2 nights among 5. I paid for at a triple room but only 1 cup was provided, even I had asked the reception to give cups but still remain the same whenever I returned to room. There were no table and chair but only a rack at the room. No TV remote at the room upon request from the reception. Buffer area for getting food at the breadfast room was too small and guest was crowded. Engineering works at Peckham Rye station gave no service of the railway at very early everynight. The price was the most competition for the lodge.
Summary
Beds comfy,no room to move about in the room,no mirror except in the bathroom,Hairdryer never worked.Massive queue's for breakfast which is continental.toast took 3 times round to cook, cereals stale and cheap.Bus stop outside was a bonus.Noisy in the morning.
Summary
Very good service.

Summary
There was no bar or entertainment area. the window in one of the rooms would not close completely so it was very cold during the night. The air conditioning did not work properly either. There was no window in the other room and it was a bit smelly, not well ventilated. There was a secure parking space but there is limited places. the refurbishment was not a problem for us but our rooms were on opposite sides of the building, both top floor and one side has no lift which became quite a pain. Good value for location, easy to find.
Summary
Pleasantly surprised, the room was clean, really clean, the bed was seriously comfortable , the complimentary breakfast was very fulfilling, and the price, couldn't be beaten.....
Would return an recomend
We booked this hotel at the last minute and were slightly apprehensive about what the quality would be like. The room itself was basic but clean and exceptionally well sound proofed. Tea and coffee facilities were provided and the shower was brilliant. The hotel is currently undergoing a refurbishment so felt a little like a building site but this had no impact on the quality of service we received.
Summary
Nice rooms and comfortable beds, easy to find and only a short bus trek to the Brixton academy
Summary
A bit rough around the edges but for the price (less than £30 per night for a twin room) it was good enough! The breakfast queue was too long to bother with, our bathroom was dirty, we had no power in one wall (reading lights and electric sockets not working) and our roof had a leak (they dealt with it by moving our bin underneath!), but the beds were comfortable, the location was good and the staff were friendly. I'd stay again, especially once the construction work has finished.
Summary
Under going extensive refurb but you are in the middle of it. Staff range from extremely friendly and helpful, to cannot be bothered. Until work is done, stay here if price is the most important thing. Bring your own breakfast.
Summary
Very good hotel, easy to find as it is on the main road and bus route from central London.About a 10 minute walk from the railway station.
Summary
Peckham Lodge was very good value for money ( we paid £36 a night). It had a bus stop right outside, and was easily accessible. The room was clean, but could have done with more furniture. There was only one mirror in the bathroom, and no wardrobe. There was also a lot of construction going on when we stayed, which was very loud.
Summary
For nothing the rooms are alright. Very basic, pretty gloomy and bare. They do a job and thats it. You dont really feel at home but in all honesty it serves its purpose and despite being in a pretty shocking area the transport links are good.
Summary
Long Queues at Breakfast, refurbishing at the moment, so sometimes noisy, loud doors
Bathroom with tube, free Wifi in Lounge, various buses leaving 50metres from hotel
Lidl 100 metres away
advisable
Everything was better then expected all the workers were friendly and helpful.. have a friend who is booking on my recommendation thanks
That was the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in. There were no windows in the room and it smelled horrible! A lot of damp had made me cough for two days. Luckily I stayed there just for 1 night. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone!!! Ps. The only one positive I can think about – very helpful hotel staff!

Awesome room
Summary
I stayed at this hotel with my 17yr old daughter, she was having an audition at Goldsmiths university the following day. We were only there for 1 night. We arrived at nearly 11pm and checked out at 10am the following morning. On our arrival the reception area appeared quite busy I thought for the time of night but we were dealt with quickly. They seem to accommodate a lot of students (this was not a problem). The receptionist asked us not to go into the bathroom with our shoes on as the floor had just be tiled! Made me wonder what we were in for but we were pleasantly surprised. The room was very clean, white walls, white bed linen, white bathroom. The tea tray consisted of 3 teabags, 1 sachet of sugar and no milk. No tv control and only 3 very flat pillows. There was an open area to hang clothes, no draws nor cupboards. The continental breakfast was not great. The toast machine did not toast, the only cereal was rice krispies and had to wait until I'd finished my breakfast before a cup was available for a cup of tea. After saying all that, I paid £28 for the room. I was very happy with the cleanliness of the room and whilst the breakfast was not great we did not go hungry and it was included in the price of the room. If I had to be in that area again for an overnight stay I would not hesitate to go back if the price was similar.
Summary
I needed accomodation as I was travelling to o2 Brixton Academy. I found the hotel FANTASTIC value for money. I had a refurbished room which was top notch! The staff were very friendly in giving tips for getting around. I was so pleasantly surprised considering the amount I paid. (and I work in a hotel so know my stuff!)
Summary
Easy to find, very clean, nice staff, cheap but tiday, would stay again. Thanks
Summary
First impressions weren't great, it looked more like a hostel for homeless people. The staff were friendly enough but the hotel was in a state, there were signs displaying that they were currently refurbishing but the place was quite untidy. It was a maze to find my room and the only way I could remember the way was because of a ladder in one corridor followed by no lighting in the next followed by strange odours in the other. The room looked as if noone had stayed in it before, everything new although there were still wires hanging down and although new the decor was a bit naff, I looked at the duvet under the cover and it was a bit on the brown/grey side, not nice.
The only reason I stayed at the hotel is because I was going to a gig with my girlfriend nearby in Peckham, I would never go back to Peckham, not a nice place.
I wished I'd stayed in bed for breakfast also, not worth getting up for.
I payed 60 quid for the room, had it been 30 I wouldn't grumble at all, the site said it was supposed to be 120 I think, I would have cried if I'd paid that.
Considering the location I wasn't expecting much for the cost. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The room was small and under renovation but the bathroom was of a high quality and the beds were okay. As there were some bunk beds in the room there wasn't a great deal of storage space, but we used the bunk bed for a relative so saved money there. The breakfast was basic and there was a long queue for the toaster, but it was sufficient. All in all, again considering the cost, it was very pleasant.
Summary
Couldnt even turn around in the room with my bag in there too
window was drafty which was directly above the bed
mattress completely wrecked and dented
nails hanging through the bathroom cabinet
wifi didnt work in reception
but
the service was very friendly..
Room has no heating and is cold during winter.
Summary
Accommodation was lacking, no central heating, only an electric heater that had to be on, messy corridors, with stained carpets and laundry on the floor.
Not enough food to go around at breakfast, so when we got there at 9am there was nothing left.
It is a good place. No matter how small the room is, maybe you could also put something to hand clothes.
