The hotel is right in the heart of London Victoria, precisley where we wanted to be. The rooms are good. I was a little diapointed that we informed the hotel we were arriving at 9pm, I was suprised that the room was not ready. We asked for more milk to be provided, this was agreed, however it never arrived. It is clear that they have a problem with housekeepinh. Other than those small problems, we would stay at this hotel again.

We were attending our son's engagement party in London and booked one night at the Park Plaza.
We were very impressed from the moment we arrived with the staff, the rooms and cleanliness. The breakfast was great with plenty of choice.
One of the rooms was even upgraded free of charge to an apartment which was amazing with superb views over London Eye, St Pauls, Big Ben & Canary Wharf.
Wish we could have stayed longer!
Will definitely use this hotel again.

I booked this hotel as it was close to Victoria and we experiencing the Orient Express. It was a lovely hotel, although a little pricey I felt. However, the room was very spacious, the bed was HUGE and the bathroom and bedroom was clean with fresh towels and bedding every day.
We didnt experience the food, or drinks in the hotel but there are plenty places to eat and drink around the hotel.
Fab Mexican down the road which we ate at the first night.
Husband disappointed no biscuits with the complimentary tea/coffee which is unusual for hotels.
Would stay again.

The room was very clean and modern however I felt the goods in the mini-bar where a little over the top cost wise and for how much I paid for the room I thought there would have been more TV channel access. It was also a shame that many rooms can hear lots of noise from Victoria bus station but that is to be expected.

I was able to check in 2 hours early and a courteous gentlemen on reception did this, all the staff were brilliant, subtle and efficient throughout the stay.
I didn't eat breakfast, but did use the gym, which was reasonably basic, but had enough equipment (treadmills, eliptical trainer, bike, weights etc) .

We only stayed the one night but the experience was a very positive one. Staff were extremely helpful and curteous, the whole hotel and rooms were very clean and well presented. The facilities and small touches impressed us - ice available on all floors, huge comfy beds. The only slightly disappointing part was the price of the drinks - nearly 12 for a Corona and a glass of white wine!

We stayed here at the weekend and had a great time. It is right on the doorstep of Victoria Railway station/underground but you do not here any noise from within the hotel. We walked several times from here into town (about 2 miles) and you get a great relaxing walk past buckingham palace, st james park and up to piccadilly square. Its an ideal base for shoppers, theatre (Wicked and Billy Elliot are just a few hundred yards from the hotel itself).
I would definitely stay here again, rates were reasonable and the only complaint was our telly kept going on the blink and despite complaining several times it wasnt fixed or compensated.
We didnt have any food at the hotel, breakfast rates were quite expensive so we chose to eat out. There's a great Mexican just down the street from it, looks cheesy outside but the food was excellent and massive portions!

The Victoria Park Plaza was what i would expect from a 4 star hotel in central london. The location is excellently placed close to Victoria station and the theatres and restaurants. The hotel is clean and well presented.
The only bad thing was at 4am there was a loud clanging sound within the room which sounded like a pipe was about to burst which we eventually worked out was the mini bar fridge. Also being woken up by the fire alarm at 8am and having to evacuate but that was not the hotels fault.

Had a problem checking in, we arrived half an hour before check in time and was asked to come back in 1 hour, we left case and bags with concierge which was fine, we came back 1 hour later only to be told the room would be at least another half an hour before it was ready, so I said I wanted a room which was reasy now not waiting. We had booked an Executive Package and my partner as ked if specific rooms were allocated for this package to be told no they can put the package in any room, we went to the room and someone arrived with out Executive Welcome Tray, with enhanced toiletries, water and fruit, well the fruit was 2 apples and an orange which were covered in dust and well past their sell by date, they went in the bin.
Other than this hiccup at the begining we enjoyed the Executive experience was worth the extra money, the hotel is situated in really good place for site seeing and there's lots of places to eat near by and supermarkets.
This hotel was clean, comfortable and in an ideal location for us (being just a few hundred metres away from the Apollo theatre where Wicked is staged). We upgraded to an 'executive' room which gives access to a lounge where drinks and snacks are available. However, the hotel was pretty impersonal and customer service was a bit lacking - we didn't get our paper in the morning (and we overheard others with the same issue) and it didn't seem that any attempt had been made to try and fix the dodgy AC.
We would stay here again in similar circumstances but it's not on our list of favourite hotels.

The breakfast
was excellent with plenty of juices, fresh fruit and hot food and cost 25 for 2 people.
Value for money ..... probably not as we only needed a place to sleep. The beds in our
twin room were very soft and not good for peoplewith a bad back.
All in all I would go back as it was clean, the staff were very helpful and it was close to everything.

Reception was very noisy as there was a hen party staying there but the executive room was clean and spacious with sitting area and very nice large bathroom. It is in a different area to London then i've stayed before, however the hotel was well placed for this theatre, restaurants, the tube and lovely walks past Buckingham Palcae and down Pall Mall. Early check in couldn't be guarenteed and parking was first come first served, however we had no problems with either and both were honoured. Our room was lovely and really big and the bathroom was great with a large shower and separate bath! Great place for short stop in London and the staff were really friendly!!

On the booking form I specified a double bed but was only offered twin beds with no apology or explanation. There was a broken plug socket in the room & the light switches for each bed were on the wrong side (ie. The switch for the light over the left-hand bed was set to the right-hand side of the right-hand bed & vice-versa very confusing). In addition to this, the room did not have a trouser press, Iron or ironing board as advertised. The things Ive complained about are relatively small but lets face it when youre paying for quality, you expect it. On a positive note the hotels proximity to the west end theatres is excellent, just a 3 minute walk, door to door to see the show we travelled to see.

I arrived at the hotel only to find my booking cancelled (By fax for some reason). I never did find out who was supposed to have cancelled it whether it was Laterooms or Park Plaza reservations. The front desk were very slow checking all guests in and people were made to queue. They add a 25 suppliment charge for mini-bar use at check-In which I think creates an element of mistrust, but reimburse it on check-out.... A quick reveal of my confirmation paperwork/ booking reference and I was given a decent spacious room. My relatives were kept waiting for nearly 3 hours to access their rooms (4.30pm) because of a delay with chamber-maids. We were very late for an important appointment because of it.....The guest relations manager stepped in and offered the whole family extra services which was really appreciated. Executive lounge facilities. Health Spa etc . In fact the attitude of the guest -relations manager Peter Torok and his his colleague Luke made our stay very worthwhile in the end and contributed to an excellent Easter break. Both were non-English. In contrast to the English Concierge, a native Londoner I think, who was indifferent and very matter of fact in his attitude when I initially and politely explained our problems. His apperance and demeanour was uncharming....Facilities in the hotel are good and it was only this and the professional courteous attitude of the guest-relations managers that would make me recommend this hotel to a friend if the above problems were alleviated.

Had a major argument with concierge about a freephone number that I had dialled and then they charged me 40 for the privilege - even when they saw on the bill on that the freefone number had been dialled. For info - only 0800 numbers count as free, any other freefone number (e.g., 0808) don't count, even though they are free.

Very close to Victoria Tube Station and all attractions.
Easy express checkout - nothing was a problem to any of the staff they were always one step ahead with impeccable service - which does not always apply these days... so it was a pleasure to stay.
Would definitely recommend!

Confused staff at check in had no record of booking at first, then told me it had been cancelled, then told me it had been booked twice. As a result there was a long check-in which was most frustrating.

The hotel was very nice and comfortable. Its location suited us and we enjoyed our stay. If I were to pick holes the faults would be as follows. Firstly my room had adjoining doors with the next room. I could easily hear the television and conversations in the next room. For a new hotel the sound insulation was poor. (I did hear a comment from another guest about the lift noise being excessive in a room near the lift shaft). And secondly the bed felt worn; it sagged towards the middle, as an old matress would do (ie like a boat!). I thought this was poor as we had booked an executive package. A good plus point was the attitude of the staff. During our short stay we did not see a single member of staff with a frown on their face. All the members of staff were helpful and courteous. These comments are meant as constructive views and in no way are critical. I would most definately use the hotel again if staying in the area.
