Lovely Modern Hotel

Very pleasent staff and very helpfull.
15-20 min walk to Golders Green Tube, or bus stops near by. Good parking. 15-20 tube ride to the West End and great location to visit the capital and not too expensive (for London).
Room 10/10, newly decorated, comfy bed, no traffic noise, dispite being on a busy 'A' road into London. We did not have breakfast, so can't comment on the food. Would stay here again, lovely hotel. Thank You to all the staff!

Value for money

The location of the hotel isn't the greatest, on a duel carriageway with parking down a side street, luckily the car was fine and we were able to move it to the front of the hotel whilst we went into London city. The room we were allocated was brilliant, a large family room which was well stocked and immaculately clean. The bathroom facilities were great, especially the monsoon/rainfall shower. The only downsides to the room was that it was on the ground floor, at the front of the hotel so we had a view of the cars parked straight outside and the dual carriageway beyond, hardly heard any traffic noise though. We initially had no hot water in either of the bathrooms but this was resolved fairly quickly. Would definitely stay again as it was great value for money.

London visit

The hotel was easy to find and service was ok but they did look at me gone out with a bit of disbelief, when i said we were going to the O2 for a concert, this hotel was chosen for the ease of access from the M1 for which it was perfect and tube was only a 10 minute walk away which was good, so i felt a bit annoyed with the staff when they did this. There was a lot of building work going on and the restaurant was not open but finished, i would consider using this hotel again in the future due to the good room and access from M1

London's Best Kept Secret

This hotel is simply amazing - we're almost reluctant to tell everyone about it because we want to keep it our secret place to stay in London! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was better than 1st class - extra, extra clean, modern, stylish and incredibly cosy with the snow falling heavily outside onto the cute velux window. Value for money was second to none - we can't believe we only paid £69 for a Saturday night - much cheaper than the Travel Lodge down the road which looked positively dingy! Way To Go Best Western! You've set the bar high!

Excellent value for a London hotel.

Triple room on 2nd floor at back of hotel. Very quiet, comfortable, clean and warm. Parking could be a problem at busy times, but we always found a space.

This hotel was being re-furbished in certain areas so it was very cheap! It is perfect for the M1 and the staff were extremely helpful. When I next travel to London, I will check out the price and availability of this place first!

Weekend Stay

The hotel was ok however, sound travels really badly and we could hear neighbour conversations at 2 a.m. There was a party going on during the second night of our stay and even though we were on the second floor we could still hear everything - the party also meant that we could not use the restaurant. Staff there are friendly enough however the sandwich we asked for on our arrival was really poor and I do mean the poor, cheap bread and wedges of cheese...ugh!

Our 1 night stay at this london hotel was enough.

Firstly staff are abrupt and a bit rude, cobwebs hanging from ceiling, 1 hand towel and 1 bath towel between 2 people, road noise was loud even though double glazed, wardrobes are tiny clothes wont fit unless twist em in. and to top it off a rather loud wedding function was going on.

Came down from the north for the Challenge cup final &though the hotel wasn't far from the end of the M1,the road was a tad confusing, but on asking was soon put on the right track.Despite check-in being 3pm we were let in to our room at 1pm.The reception staff were very pleasant & helpful. The room was was v.modern & clean, the beds really comfortablel, the bathroom clean & modern. It cost £6 for 3 of us in a taxi to Golders Green tube- easily walkable on a nice day. We usually stay in central London but found our short stay really pleasant and will stay here again

Friends on a Wembley Weekend

Good hotel in good location, particularly if driving. Never ate at the hotel as for breakfast they charge £15 for a cooked breakfast, however within a 10 minute stroll there is a great cafe. (Merals). Many pubs within a short walk, on a bus route. On checking in they were a bit slow and took the receptionist 10 minutes to find our booking which was made 6 months previous. Rooms are fantastic and modern and although on a busy road never heard any traffic noise. Would have stayed for next years cup final but they appear to have doubled the price!!!

Rooms good, no bar or an area to sit and have a drink except the entrance, which was not ideal, and a lack of information about local restaurants ,bars. Not even flyers, the staff had limited knowledge of where any restaurants were. They sugeested the internet but did not have a Pc available, and when on a break i for one don't take mine with me.
The breakfast at £15.00 was ok but toomany beens so the plate looked fuller and a very small piece of bacon.

As we were visiting in the area, the hotel was an excellent choice for us and if your work or leisure brings you to North West London, I would have no hesitation recommending it as a base. The standard of the rooms and cleanliness was high, the air conditioning a boon and the free parking and internet access were a big plus. We had concerns that the rooms might be noisy as I believe there was a wedding reception or party on the night we stayed, but these fears were unfounded, the room being reasonably quiet even though fronting onto a main road

i requested for the childrens room to be next to mine (at booking time) i called them the day before my arrival but they hadnt acknowledged my request. after a bit of talking they said theyd put us on the same floor. but my room was on the other side of the corridor. another problem was the noise at night. the first night the smoke alarm went off at around midnight (which actually frightened the children) and thereafter there was some sort of humming sound. the next night there was a function going on late into the night

Disgusting breakfast!

The staff were rude and so were of no help when needed to answer a questions with a response of more than yes or no. We asked for breakfast to be brought to the room as we had not been told where to go for breakfast by the staff. The breakfast which arrived was appalling! one sausage one rasher of bacon beans and mushrooms! The toast was only cooked on one side and the sausage was raw in the middle! The portion would not have filled a child! The hotel was noisy and we were put in a room next to the extractor fans on the roof meaning that we got no sleep due to the noise! I would never want to stay in this hotel again, and neither would I use the best western chain again.

Clueless staff, Nice Room, Location ok

Me and my boyfriend arrived at the hotel an hour before we could book in so asked to leave are bag and pop back. They told us to wait as our room was ready and we could order a drink. We had to wait well over an hour anyway and wasn't offered any drinks. The room was lovely apart from we requested a double bed and had two singles. Finally the check out que was huge and we had to wait an hour just to check out. The staff don't seem to know what they are doing which is the main problem.

Really good value

We arrived about 11.30pm after a concert at wembley (about 5-10mins drive) and first impressions weren't great....it's lit up in blue like a cheap las Vegas massage parlour! However, once inside the decor is very modern, clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a decent size and very well appointed for a 3 star, looking like it had been recently refurbished. We had a very comfortable night and left happy.

My only gripe was the provided map from hotel of local area was blurred and absolutely unable to read it at all!

Positive - Gorgeous room, reception, dining, free parking, close to bus stop for 245 bus to wembley park, air con working and easy to use,
negative- didn't like the carpet in bedroom, no dvd player, exspensive, breakfast £15 so didn't bother, outside of the building not really attractive,
But overall the hotel won me over with the beautiful room you get exactleyy what the picture shows! xx

Excellent value for money, free parking and WiFi a bonus, however, the restaurant was dreadful.

Room as excellent as was the bathroom, the only downside is that the rooms at the front are noisy due to a busy road.
My main issue was the restaurant, poor menu, painfully slow service and the food was dire when it arrived, resembled cheap ready meals from a low cost supermarket.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Would I stay again, yes, but eat out.

The breakfast was not, in any way, value for money. There was little choice and, although we rarely have a cooked breakfast, there was only bacon, sausage and hard boiled eggs available. The TV reception was awful on most channels and therefore un watchable, the internet kept going off even after it was re-set making it impossible to book any tickets on line! The room was a double yet only had a single wardrobe which is narrower than the hangers inside it. the view from the window was the air conditioning units for the building! There is still refurbishment work being done however this was not mentioned anywhere when we booked, although the rooms are clean and tidy there needs to be more desk top space as this was very limited in the room we had.
