Summary
1. could do with filter coffee for breakfast especially
2. were not told cot bed not available until too late
3. hotel parking a little expensive!!
Good location - close to Underground tube and shops. Hotel standard poor for a Novotel. Aircon didn't work - given a complimentary upgrade and aircon still didn't work. Not sure if it would be my first choice again.
Summary
Excellent in general except the washroom flushing function was not working properly.
Summary
Waited for 15 mins to.find someone for checkin. Had.to get bar staff to go back and get them up.room was not unlocked when I finally got up there. They had not checked the FAX which had my late reservation details so I had to wait extra 10 mins for that making my check in about 25 mins in total.
Summary
Good location, near the tube station.on site secure parking, residents get discount for parking.

We were attending a gig at theHMV Appollo. The hotel was so convenient, the staff were friendly and the quality of the room was first class. We were in the back of the hotel and it was very quiet.

For the price the room was very poky and dated and the air con was broken. Quite a dismal experience and glad it was only one night.

Excellent stay very central. Hotel very friendly staff helpful.
Summary
Clean, spacious room. Easy access to The Apollo.
Summary
This is a typical large London hotel. Room clean and comfortable, Bathroom clean but with a small narrow shower. However, we had problems with reception not updating their records for breakfast, consequently had to hang around the next morning with a queue building behind us as they tried to sort it out. Very embarrassing. Then another delay on checking out as they had to wait for the restaurant to update back, although I said that was happy to pay for breakfast. Called for manager but they were not really interested. Will not go back there.
Summary
I have stayed at this hotel several times now,the proximity to the tube and hammersmith apollo is a bonus
clean basic rooms
The novetel west is a great hotel for young families. Good clean accomodation is easy reach of the underground station. Will definatly use it again.
Summary
Hotel was good and pretty handy for Hammersmith tube. Breakfast not included was really annoying (£17 per head !) when the room rate was expensive. Wifi not included - this is a joke and hotels in the UK need to get their act together. I would not stay here again for this reason alone.
Summary
I have stayed at this hotel previously and still find it a pleasant and comfortable place to stay. The room was large, clean and had all I could need, apart from a free internet connection. I was surprised that an extra fee was charged given that so many hotels now offer wireless connections as part of the package. There are several computers in the lobby which can be used free for 20 minutes but this is of little use if you need documents downloaded to your own laptop.
The hotel is only five minutes walk from Hammersmith Tube, however this could be a lonely walk for some at night along some quiet streets.
We read some really bad reviews about this place , and nearly didn't book. However we are so glad we did because i must say the hotel staff including house keeping were brilliant, helpful and very polite. The food range was excellent for breakfast and worth every penny. The only downer was that the cooked breakfast was often coldish ... however they were always willing to heat it up on request. We will stay again ....and we would recommend it to any family.... don't listen to all the rubbish reviews .... go and try it. You wont regret it , if you get the same experience we did. It was also easy access to London Central.
Thank you Novotel staff - keep up the good work
On the outside, it looks like a small, low-rise hotel. But when inside, I found that each floor accommodates more than 100 rooms. So altogether, there must be about 4-500 rooms.
The staff are all friendly. They provide good service and advice. I have no complaint about that.
The location is excellent. It is about 10 minutes' walk to the two Hammersmith Underground stations, and a bus depot. From Hammersmith, it takes about 20 minutes by the Underground or 45 minutes by bus to get to Harrods department store at Knightsbridge. And one good thing about this location is that there is a Picadelli line tube that runs to Heathrow airport. So from the hotel you can conveniently carry your suitcases to Hammersmith station and go directly to Heathrow.
The hotel does not have a swimming pool. So I don't consider it as family friendly. Don't expect much about retreat facility. I regard it as a business hotel.
Excellent location for hammersmith, clean hotel with very impressive reception and communal areas our room however was quite small for a family of 4, room decor could be re vamped, sofa beds only had sheets and old looking blankets, double bed very good with nice linen and duvet. House keeping staff came quickly with extra cups and teabags as only 2 in our room for 4. Breakfast was nice but pricey at £17.50 head but kids under 15 eat free so not so bad for us. Overall I would stay here again if in area.
Summary
We are a family od 4, two children, 8 and 10 yrs. The family room was adequate at we only slept there. The children found that the matresses on the sofa bed were lumpy and old, but they still slept well! It was good that they were pulled down and made up for prior to arriving and that they were two singles which suited our children better. The food was excellent and evening meal in bar very reasonable. We had to pay extra for breakfast and although expensive the children ate for free and the buffet was well stocked and managed. Very helpful friendly staff!!!
Summary
Although I felt the room was bit cramped, the hotel was lovely, service great and the breakfast delicious!
Summary
My husband and I would of enjoyed this hotel so much more had it not been for the lack of information given at check in, regarding all facilities this hotel provided and what was included in the price we were paying for our stay. This hotel is clean and comfortable, close to all amenities. Would consider using this hotel again in the future and would recommend The Swan (pub), for their full cooked breakfast. Be aware of the £50 deposit when checking in, when checking out, was told this is an optional choice, was not offered this when checking in. I paid £50 more for my room that was advertised, now waiting for the £50 deposit to go back into my bank account.
Summary
Booked the hotel to be close to the Hammersmith Apollo and it was within easy walking distance. The Superior room was not as described - there was no sofa or even room for one. To be fair we were given the chance to change rooms but were advised that all rooms were the same size and that only families had the sofa.
Otherwise there was little to complain about but nothing outstanding either.
We stayed at this hotel with our 14 year old son and our 8 year old daughter. The staff were very friendly and accommodating on our arrival. We were able to check in earlier than expected and when we asked if we could have a twin sofa bed for the children instead of a double they sorted it out within 20 minutes.
Summary
The breakfast was terrible.
Summary
Very enjoyable stay freindly and helpful staff would book there again no question
Summary
An ideal location to get the tube to all the attractions and theatres.
Summary
Decent 'businessy' type hotel only 4 or 5 mins walk from Hammersmith Apollo. Plenty of parking available but it's £1 per hour. Don't forget to get your parking validated on check out or it's £3 per hour.
Summary
Easy walking distance to the Olympia for the Doctor Who Experience.
The hotel staff were extremely friendly and hospitable. We were in a family room on floor 8 and along a very long corridor. The room was very clean although the decor was very dated (artex ceiling). Tea and coffee making facilities in the room okay for adults, but what about the children??? Very expensive parking charges, £1 per hour, even through night.
My son completed a word search while waiting for our bar meal, the prize said "Mystery Prize". It was even a mystery to the bar staff. So my son ended up with 2 free scoops of ice-cream. A little extra for the kids, goes a long way Novotel. All in all though, a pleasant stay.
Very modern clean
Summary
I was looking forward to my stay and in all honesty it was ok overall. I think the hotel, which incidentally was massive, was quite understaffed and was lacking clarity with regards check in etc, if you access by the lower floor, what looks like the hotel lobby and reception is actually just an information desk, which i stood at like a lemon for 10 mins, to be told i should go upstairs!!
Room was average, but could do with a refresh, it was like sleeping in a room kitted out by a coffee shop furniture wise and the curtains were filthy which was not good at all (non smoking room).
For the money you could do better elsewhere, I have stayed in places for half the cost and they are far better, thats London for you I guess!!
Great value. close to tube thus great access to the whole city. Staff very friendly, would recommend to others.

Summary
I found the hotel to be quite good in terms of facilities and location. The reception were polite and professional but unfortunately I was very displeased that upon checking in my request fir an interconnecting room was not adhered to. I was told that this was a request and not guaranteed. I have 3 young children and I find this quite unacceptable. At the point if booking via late rooms this was communicated and also on the morning of my asrival I had called the hotel prior to arriving in London to ensure that my booking was confirmed and that I would be given an interconnecting room. After a long trip we arrived at 5... And they were not able to adhere to the request and said it is a request and not a guarantee. So based on this experience unfortunately I will not be staying there on my next trip. Other than that it was pleasant.
Summary
We stayed 2 nigts to do a bit of shopping and sightseeing, the hotel was only 5 minutes from the tube station so we could get direct from st pancras station, the room was very clean , quiet at night, and the breakfast was very good, staff were courteous at all times, the bar stayed open late so you could have a wind down drink after the days trip.
Summary
Excellent service, really good quality for the price paid, £99 per night for a triple room inc breakfast, (everything you could ask for breakfast really good quality). There was a young waiter in the lounge of Greek origin, he made us feel very welcome & gave us lots of really useful information, a credit to the Novotel HR. The only negatives were the bed was really hard & uncomfortable. Would I stay here again ? Yes, Would I recommend to a friend ? Yes.
Summary
Accommodation and service excellent but the meal at the bar was served cold. Not one for complaining so left it at that. Breakfast, great choice but eggs, whether fried or scrambled cold again, Staff very friendly and courteous throughout hotel.
Good & cheap internet & movie package.
I stayed at the Novotel for an event that was taking place there and so it made perfect sense to stay there rather than travel elsewhere at the end of the evening. The event was a success and so was my stay at the Novotel. It was clean, friendly and comfortable. I believe it has been recently refurbished and I liked the minimalist luxurious feel. It wasnt cluttered and it was easy to navigate around reception, breakfast room, events room and reception. We asked for tea and coffee at 2am after our event finished - which was a bit of a cheek but we got it! which allowed me and my friends to visit for a while without having to go to one or other rooms. That was appreciated. Really enjoyed my stay. Delightful place. Only thing - couldnt hook my ipod up easily in the room. I'm not usually technically challenged but couldnt get it to work so gave up. everything else was fine.
Summary
My sister and I together our hushands, mother and mother-in-law stayed for 1 night. We booked executive rooms but the rooms were more like standard rooms. There were no shower caps. The toilet roll and tissues provided were of very poor quality. On the plus side breakfast the following morning was excellent, of good quality with good selection. Good location. Would recommend.
