Summary
Nice hotel with friendly staff. Unfortunately our bedding was dirty. They did give a small discount but not great. Breakfast was not included in the price and was expensive for what it was.
Summary
The hotel was fabulous, the photo representation on the internet was spot on.
Staff were very helpful and polite, nothing was too much trouble.
Service in 'Elements' restaurant was very slow, two different starters had run out off of the menu at 19.30 hrs.
Overall very good.
When we arrived they'd got incorrect details - my booking should have been for me plus my two young daughters, not a single room. However, within minutes they'd upgraded me to an executive room, with plenty of room for me and my family, given my daughters some complimentary toys, and prepared the room with a sofa bed, all ready for us. The hotel was central, with great facilities in the room, exceeded our expectations all round - one to use again.
Summary
Very clean comfortable room shower was really good too. located in a great place for exploring the sights the reception staff were very helpful and answered any question I had either from knowledge or by checking online, nothing was too much trouble!!! would stay here again and recommend to anyone else who was thinking of a hotel break in London.
Summary
Great position only problem was air con was noisy, which we complained about and were told hotel was aware.
The hotel was one of the best priced when we booked our travel and was great. The location was brilliant for exploring London-just 5 mins walk from the river opppsite Parliament where most tour buses pick up, and 10 mins walk to the London Eye. Train tickets direct to Euston were much cheaper than tickets through to Watetloo stn, and the hotel was only a £12 taxi cab ride from Euston. Food at the bar/restaurant was lovely, good choice at breakfast and the room was spacious, nicely decorated and clean. Staff were great with kids too
Summary
Stayed here for a short break in London
Found the staff to be polite and helpful, and the room to be clean, spacious and cosy, would definately stay here again
Loved the hotel. In the right location for our needs and really enjoyed the resturant and the friendly staff.
Food was excellent.
Thanks.

Summary
Very good central location and within easy walking distance of many attractions. Staff were very pleasant and room was very nice and clean with a shower and a bath.
Overall very good only negative is the cost of the parking being 30% of the room booking amount.
Great location, good service.
Summary
Pleasent hotel in the right location for what we wanted
Summary
Very clean and modern hotel with fantastic views. We had a wonderful time with our 3yr old who was made very welcome by the staff, receiving a gift at reception which helped give mummy and daddy time to unpack. Our room faced Lambeth Palace and there was a park 5mins from the hotel. All the staff were friendly and attentive. On the downside, due to the quiet location of the hotel there were no shops or restaurants within walking distance (remember we have a 3yr old to worry about) and the breakfast cost of £15.95 per person is extortionate.
Summary
Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was expensive but nice (not £15 nice though!). Room was great, we were offered a choice on arrival and asked for a view, we could see London eye and Big Ben from the room. Only real critisism is bathroom wasn't spotlessly clean. It was very close, but a previous guest had left a couple of stray hairs in the shower and bath which hadn't been removed. It wouldn't put us off staying again as overall the experience was excellent.
Summary
The hotel was well located , just a short walk along the embankment gets you to the London Eye. From there it was just a short walk to the main London attractions.
The car parking within the hotel grounds was very good and the price of £ 24 for 24 hours was not too bad.
The hotel and room itself were very modern and clean which was ideal for what we needed, they were well equiped for our needs.
My only critisism was that they only supplied to small milk pots for the in room coffee making fascilities, this was soon remedied by the hotel on requesting some more..
All in all a good hotel which was keenly priced .
It was a fantastic location and made up for the fact that there was no free internet access - and asked about 20 pounds for 24 access - not worth it - the staff really helpful and definitely would stay again.
Summary
My only grumble would the cost of the breakfast, and drinks at the bar. Not cheap.
Summary
Good size rooms which were very clean and modern. Food good though a little expensive but on site parking a good deal.
Summary
Great position for many central attractions. Imperial War Museum 10 mins walk. London Eye about 15 mins walk Hotel quiet and clean. Staff very pleasant. Didn't eat in as we very rarely do when we take a short break but the restraunt looked well layed out. The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds we have slept in and the rooms were very well presented. Would choose this hotel again.
Summary
Although there is a small playroom i think there could have been more inside the room rather than just soft cushions, maybe computer game, dolls etc.
Summary
The Novotel in Waterloo is in an ideal location opposite Lambeth bridge and very near the Houses of Parliment. It is in a quiet area which is suitable for families and genral travellers alike.
Overall the staff were very helpful and friendly, the standard in the hotel customer areas, i.e. bar & reception were good. The room itself was to a good standard although in places looked 'worn'. The only issues we had was the sofa was not made upon arrival for our child and they did not clear the empty classes from the night before.
However apart from those minor issues, overall I would stay again.
The hotel was ideally situated for sight seeing. The staff were friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. We had a lovely stay and would recommend this hotel and intend to stay there again.
Summary
A comfortable and clean hotel

Summary
The room was described as spacious - this was definately not the case. There were not enough pillows. The ironing board was left standing in the entrance area which made the lack of space even worse. The shower door leaked and it either passed under the wall into the toilet area or that was leaking too!!! I get the feeling that this room is always on a deal as you couldnt possibly charge normal London rates for it. The hotel itself was very nice and the location was perfect for our needs ie walking distance to lots of attractions which is great when you have a young child with you.
Summary
The hotel was very nice. The staff were friendly and the room had everything we needed and was clean. The hotel is located close enough for an easy walk to key parts of London such as The Eye, Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, The South bank, even Covent Garden. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to friends and family.
Summary
Great modern clean hotel, everyone professional but friendly,10 minute walk to westminster...rooms spacious, great beds and pillows views of the eye and big ben from our room, small negatives small wardrobe and great looking designer sink which isnt very functional..didnt bother with breakfast great cafe 100yds along road(right out of door)...would def go again
Summary
Great large, comfortable room with fantastic view (on 4th floor). Would definately go back.
Summary
This hotel is in a really good location for the Southbank Centre and Tate Modern. It is very close to the river and has views of the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. It was a pleasant 10 minute walk to get to Waterloo bridge from the hotel.
The breakfast was excellent quality food with a good range of options. The hotel and room is decorated to a high standard in a contemporary style. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Checking-in late in the evening at an unfamiliar place to literally sleep and then leave, we hoped the "Superior Room - sleeps 2 Adults 1 child" would be ideal. It was fine, but we found a sofa bed for our daughter which wasn't made up, but there didn't seem to be any appreciation that even the offer to assit with this would have been a kind and much welcomed gesture. Was it clean? Yes. Was it tidy? Yes. Were the staff polite? Yes. Would I stay again? Yes, but I'd probably seek more homely alternatives as it seemed about as cosy as an airport terminal.
Summary
Very pleased with the accomodation but I thought that the food was expensive for what was provided especially at breakfast and had to keep chasing the waiting staff for coffee. Childrens play room was very disappointing, but at least there was one there, it just needs some more things putting in some book and traditional games would be a good idea.
Summary
The hotel is minutes walk from Big Ben and the London Eye. Also, only a few minutes walk from North Lamberth tube stop. Great rooms & friendly staff. Will stay again.
Summary
Stayed in the hotel for 3 nights . Fantastic location for sightseeing etc and a short tube journey into city centre. Hotel was very clean and vstaff very helpful. Would thoroughly recommend it
Summary
A very clean and modern hotel with efficient friendly staff in a convenient location. Only fault was that the room was a little hot and being central london it was too noisy outside to leave the window open.
Summary
Hotel itself was pretty good - but it's not really Waterloo!
It's about a 10-15 minute walk from Waterloo station - not suitable if you have luggage
A comfortable and clean hotel. I had to queue a little while at reception to check in, but was impressed with my room - separate toilet and shower room - very clean and I had a good night's sleep.
Staff were a little too attentive in the restaurant and tables were very close together affording little privacy for the couple sitting on the table next to me (I was dining alone) - I could hear every word they were saying ...
Staff uniforms were scruffy - the receptionist on the desk had a large whole in her jacket under the arm and for most others, it was ill-fitting and not flattering for the larger lady.
The Novotel Waterloo is a modern chain hotel which offers secure parking and you are within walking distance of Westminster, London Eye, Big Ben, St Thomas Hospital so it would suit business and tourist alike. The restaurant food was excellent and the staff friendly and professional. Reception was slow but only because the receptionists tirelessly helped the tourists with all their questions but it was frustration when you only wished to pay for your parking. As London rates go I suppose the cost of the hotel was average but to have to pay £24.00 for overnight parking did seem excessive. You also had to pay for WiFi access so more money!
Summary
This hotel was well run with friendly staff, although 10 mins after being in our room the chambermaid let herself into our room! which was a suprise to us and her! but other than this we were very happy there. xx
Summary
Staff couldn't have been friendlier, my son loved the play area and will definitely stay again and other Novotel hotels!
