Summary
Excellent new hotel, could do with sign initially to point people in right direction.
Staff v helpful, very clean, lovely facilities. Didn't eat B/fast - thought it was too expensive, but many alternatives closeby. Lovely area - close to Little Venice and trips down canal to Cambden Lock.
Shopping area nearby will be very useful when all open. Only downfall, was the "wind tunnel" effect walking thru new buildings to top of close where hotel is located, but we were there in early Jan - v cold. Would recommend it.
Very handy for Paddington tube overall great exeperience.Nice sauna and steam room
Summary
5 mins walk from Paddington station and tube and newly built, this is an excellent hotel in every way. I simply couldn't find any way to improve anything about it. I upgraded to get the free WiFi for my 2 teenagers and was delighted to discover other luxuries in the room such as a Nespresso coffee machine and iPod dock. After reading SO many appalling London hotel reviews, it's so good to find value for money.....i will stay here again.
Summary
Excellent hotel, overlooking the main lines into Paddington but very quiet and with good views over the city. Very clean and tidy, well equipped. Great location by Little Venice and with plenty of restaurants and bars around. Overall very good, nice hotel in a good location.
Summary
I was amazed at the quality of this hotel at such a reasonable price for central London. I would recommend to anybody.
Summary
Me my husband and 11 year old son stayed at the Novotel hotel Friday until Sunday, for a weekend of sightseeing.
A newly built hotel in a lovely area, very clean and lovely location at the side of a stretch of canal. Enjoy a drink outside at the many bars, also a sainsburys store is located close to the hotel for anything you need. The hotel is 5 mins walk from Paddington train station and also the Paddington tube station.
The hotel also has a pool, steam room, sauna and fitness suite. These are all included in the price of the stay at the hotel.
Considering the novotel is literally only months old, apart from the taxi drivers being unaware of it's location, every other aspect of my stay was of real comfort & quality.
Staff very friendly & hospitable, nice ambiance in the ground floor bar/restaraunt,immaculately clean & tidy... Can't go wrong, value for money, excellent. !
I ll be recommending for future trips to friends & family.
Friendly and efficient check in/out. Pristene cleanliness and 24hr room service was great due to our late arival time. Room service charge was also very reasonable. The whole experience was pleasurable having a full nights sleep as there was no excess noise and the room had air conditioning. Didn't have time to check out the pool but will next time we stay!
Summary
Room is very nice. Good sized bathroom, plenty of space, lovely pool with steam room & sauna. However, expect to pay for any extras (e.g., wireless, music section in entertainment system). If you're not traveling on business (and so can't expense the extras), you prob shouldn't be paying more than £120/n
