Summary
A lovely, clean hotel with pleasant staff. Our room was very clean and quiet.
A short walk from Paddington station (once you know about the exit at the end of platforms 8 & 9!) and just a 20 minute tube ride into the centre of London.
A few nice restaurants in the vicinity if you don't fancy straying far from the hotel.
We had a fire alarm just 5 minutes after check-in, but the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. The hotel is quite new and in a modern, pedestrianised area within walking distance of paddington station. The room was clean and modern and breakfast up to standard and served till 12 noon! Very good value and quality compared to most hotels in London.
Summary
I stayed here with my wife and son for 4 nights, fabulous accommodation, great location, wonderful staff. Highly recommend staying here and will definitely will stay again.
Summary
Staff were amazing andf very helpful. Restaurant had beautiful food also. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable and perfect for a short stay.
Summary
Booked Novotel Paddington via a deal onTrain Line and Late Rooms. Had been concerned that some previous reviewers found hotel difficult to find from Paddington Station but in fact it was straightforward if you follows the instructions on the hotel's website. Hotel was as expected and service was fine without being outstanding. Room (415) was OK for size (superior double) but the view was limited (looked out on to office block about 20 metres away!). Bed was a generous size and very comfortable. Room had toilet separate from bathroom - unusual but not really a problem. Despite proximity to main railway line there was no noise at all! Ordered a room service supper on return from seeing a show and was pleasantly surprised - fast service and excellent quality/quantity of food! Overall, a good experience and no negatives. Reasonable location for city centre visits and would book again.
Summary
We recently thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Novotel Paddington, with our four year old daughter. The hotel is very new and in great order, our room was very clean and comfortable, with everything that you would need. The staff were very friendly and very helpful and especially kind to our child. We enjoyed the use of the pool and spa areas which were also of good quality. The area was great in terms of location - good access to Paddington Station and within walking distance of Hyde park and all the South Kensington Museums. All and all a great hotel!
Summary
A bit of a treck from Paddington station really - especially at the moment with hte roads and pavements being dug up
Summary
We (myself, my wife and our 11 year old son) have stayed at the Novotel Paddington on a couple of occasions for weekend breaks. Once you have found it - not the easiest thing first time round - it is conveniently situated, close to restaurants and to Paddington Station for mainline and underground connections, and quite quiet given its proximity to major roads and railways. Staff are helpful and rooms clean, spacious and comfortable. We haven't tried the Restaurant. At LateRooms rates, it is good value for money, and a good bet for this part of London.
Summary
Excellent new hotel, could do with sign initially to point people in right direction.
Staff v helpful, very clean, lovely facilities. Didn't eat B/fast - thought it was too expensive, but many alternatives closeby. Lovely area - close to Little Venice and trips down canal to Cambden Lock.
Shopping area nearby will be very useful when all open. Only downfall, was the "wind tunnel" effect walking thru new buildings to top of close where hotel is located, but we were there in early Jan - v cold. Would recommend it.
Very handy for Paddington tube overall great exeperience.Nice sauna and steam room
Summary
5 mins walk from Paddington station and tube and newly built, this is an excellent hotel in every way. I simply couldn't find any way to improve anything about it. I upgraded to get the free WiFi for my 2 teenagers and was delighted to discover other luxuries in the room such as a Nespresso coffee machine and iPod dock. After reading SO many appalling London hotel reviews, it's so good to find value for money.....i will stay here again.
Summary
Excellent hotel, overlooking the main lines into Paddington but very quiet and with good views over the city. Very clean and tidy, well equipped. Great location by Little Venice and with plenty of restaurants and bars around. Overall very good, nice hotel in a good location.
Summary
I was amazed at the quality of this hotel at such a reasonable price for central London. I would recommend to anybody.
Summary
Me my husband and 11 year old son stayed at the Novotel hotel Friday until Sunday, for a weekend of sightseeing.
A newly built hotel in a lovely area, very clean and lovely location at the side of a stretch of canal. Enjoy a drink outside at the many bars, also a sainsburys store is located close to the hotel for anything you need. The hotel is 5 mins walk from Paddington train station and also the Paddington tube station.
The hotel also has a pool, steam room, sauna and fitness suite. These are all included in the price of the stay at the hotel.
Considering the novotel is literally only months old, apart from the taxi drivers being unaware of it's location, every other aspect of my stay was of real comfort & quality.
Staff very friendly & hospitable, nice ambiance in the ground floor bar/restaraunt,immaculately clean & tidy... Can't go wrong, value for money, excellent. !
I ll be recommending for future trips to friends & family.
Friendly and efficient check in/out. Pristene cleanliness and 24hr room service was great due to our late arival time. Room service charge was also very reasonable. The whole experience was pleasurable having a full nights sleep as there was no excess noise and the room had air conditioning. Didn't have time to check out the pool but will next time we stay!
Summary
Room is very nice. Good sized bathroom, plenty of space, lovely pool with steam room & sauna. However, expect to pay for any extras (e.g., wireless, music section in entertainment system). If you're not traveling on business (and so can't expense the extras), you prob shouldn't be paying more than £120/n
Summary
All positive. what a fantastic hotel, the staff where really friendly and would book this hotel my next stay in london.
Summary
Very nice hotel but difficult to find if you are driving there.
Summary
A nice clean modern hotel in pleasant surroundings, just a short walk from Paddington Station.
Summary
We spent two nights at the Novotel in Paddington and couldn't find a fault with the hotel. The reception staff were friendly and efficient and all the facilities were excellent. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant on the first night and drnks in the bar (which were reasonably priced).
We used the gym, pool and sauna, all of which were spotless and well thought out.
Our room had everything we needed and it was great to have a bath AND a shower cubicle plus separate WC. It was finsihed to a very high standard and was very spacious with lots of nice finishing touches, such as mini bar, hairdryer, iron and board, good lighting and a couch area.
We would highly recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to stay there again.
Interesting location in a new area north of Paddington - 5 minute walk from the station, need to follow the directions carefully. Hotel is new, clean, comfortable. Price was good value for London. Great if wanting to connect to Heathrow, of course.
Summary
It's not the most convenient hotel in Paddington, but the rooms are good and it's really only 5 mins walk once you know where it is.
Summary
The hotel is by far over-priced, only because of its location. I was supposedly upgraded to a "suite" which is even smaller than a normal room. The coffee machine did not work and the person who was sent by the reception didn't even try to fix it and just offered to make a coffee downstairs! Later I got an email saying that I had to put water in it!!! Ridiculous, of course I did put water. The iron in the room was rusty and spoiled the shirt as soon as I started; no burns but just rust.
Summary
Located about a ten minute walk from Paddington Rail Station the hotel is convenient for connections to both Heathrow and the Underground. A modern hotel, clean and new. Good sized rooms for London with very comfy beds. Good swimming pool / sauna and steam room. Small gym. Breakfast buffet excellent quality and first class service from the attentive staff. Have stayed here on a number of occasions and never been let down. Relatively expensive for accommodation and bar prices raise the eyebrow - but it is London. Hotel should provide free wi-fi as 3G service was unreliable. That said they do provide free computers in reception.
Summary
Couple more teabags would have been nice but other than that fantastic new hotel in lovely square.

Summary
Our room was clean & spacious (in London terms). The staff was extremely helpful. The hotel is located just behind Paddington Station (through Platform 8) which saves precious time when traveling to Heathrow. Even though our room overlooked the station it was quiet in the room and we had no problem sleeping whatsoever. Bathrobes & sleepers are not provided. Internet connection costs 9 sterlings for 24h of use (NOT a 24h day).
Summary
I couldn't fault this hotel the staff couldn't have been more helpful, the room was good, the facilities were all there all the facilities were spotlessly clean and well maintained. With this only being a five minute walk from Paddington Train Station and the underground our three day break in London was easy. Didin't eat at the hotel itself but hey when your in London why would you the facilities and resturant we did try and they were all good. Would stay here again
Summary
As a proverbial moaner I was somewhat dissapointed that I had absolutely nothing to complain about. This hotel is the top of my list from now on. The best of the best.
Summary
Excellent modern clean hotel in a quaint location. Great for a short stay.
Summary
Extremely clean. Very quiet. We were surprised as we could see Paddington Train Station but didn't hear or feel a thing. Could have done with a few more bath towels.
Summary
We really enjoyed our recent stay at the Novotel. The hotel is conveniently located and the room (executive) was spacious and good value for London.
The breakfasts were excellent and the hotel staff were professional and friendly. They made our little daughter very welcome!
Would definitely stay again.
