Where It Is
Nestled conveniently in an attractive area of Bayswater, New Linden Hotel provides a great base for getting around London. Notting Hill's famous Portobello Market is just a short walk away, while to hotel sits opposite two lovely, picturesque little parks, Leinster Square and Princes Square, which bring to mind the romantic haven used by Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts in the film 'Notting Hill'. This hotel really does enjoy one of the best locations of any London accommodation.
Getting Around
Bayswater tube station is found just around the corner from New Linden Hotel. Found on the Circle and District Line, from here visitors can enjoy direct access to fabulous London attractions such as Kensington High Street, Westminster and the Tower of London.
Buses are another popular and efficient way of navigating London, and there are stops at either end of the road which New Linden Hotel sits on. Visitors have a range of options, including number 27, which calls at Paddington and Regent's Park, 23, which runs along Oxford Street, through the West End and on into the City, and 148, which takes in Victoria and Westminster.
What To Expect - Rooms
Each individually designed room features Egyptian cotton sheets on either a single, twin, queen or king-size bed, while free Wi-Fi is always a bonus in a London hotel. Excellent en suite bathrooms feature walk-in power showers with Gilbert & Soames toiletries and comfortable bathrobes. Continental breakfast is included in your room rate.
What To Expect - Dining
New Linden Hotel is built into four beautiful Victorian houses, and does not have its own restaurant. However, it is close to a number of the area's best eateries, including Lebanese triumph Al Waha and French bistro Côte Brasserie. The hotel's aforementioned breakfast is well stocked, with freshly baked croissants featuring each morning.
Anything Else?
when booking with us, you will notice a box entitled 'special requirements' at the bottom of the booking form. While making a request offers no guarantees, we recommend asking for the excellent 'split level' rooms 103 or 109 if you are visiting with the family, or the majestic four-poster bed of room 104 if you are looking for a romantic stay.
