I've stayed here before and quite liked it. The room I had was quite, comfortable and spacious. All the fixtures a fittingsd worked and I had enough hangers for a 4 night stay. Sounds daft, but little details make all the difference as I've spent the last 4 years living in hotels. And so close to Gloucester Road tube as well. I can't comment on the food as I didn't eat there.

Only "poor" area was the breakfast; toaster did not seem to be working and for the price would expect it to be freshly cooked not a (not always that warm) self service buffet

Nice traditional hotel. Room of a good standard. There was a big flat screen TV in front of the mirror which made using the mirror difficult. The safety deposite box is on the floor as with lots of hotel but not a good position if you are not fit and able. Good selection of food at breakfast. Directly opposite Glocester Road tube station.

The hotel is made by the elegance and furnishings of the foyer and bar/lounge area, and the fifth floor room we had was fine with no view but quiet. Gloucester Road tube is right across the road. Slightly annoying that we were prevented from using the fridge if not buying from the minibar.

Everything about Hotel was excellent apart from the fact that we couldn,t control the heating in the room, it was very hot which is not a bad complaint for most people and we were able to open the window.

We had a long weekend at baileys, happy with the location right by the tube, the room, the service, comfy bed, good bathroom. No breakfast included, but cheaper options nearby eg Garfunkels and the cafe opposite. Also the Tesco is open all hours and the waitrose very good if you need extras. Its true as others have said that some of the window paintwork is peeling, and that floorboards creek, but its an old hotel, and you would expect that! Our view wasn't great (out the back, furthest from lifts) - but on the plus side, zero traffic noise and very few people walking past the room on the creaky floorboards. All in all, definitely good value at late rooms price, would not pay the full price. The entrance is very grand, but the further into the hotel you get, the more basic and slightly shabby the decor, especially carpets. Not a big criticism, but don't expect it all to look like the website photo! We will consider again for London visits.

The room was a bit small, the bed was in the way of the cabinet which contained the minibar and the coffee making facility. Bed was comfortable though, and lovely fluffy bathrobes were available. Bathroom was spacious enough, although a bit dated. The basin had cracks. Solid windows and curtains to keep out the noise. There was also a big gap under the room door, which meant that any noise outside was pretty loud, and vice versa I expect. Overall the entrance hall, restaurant and staircase were quite magnificent while the room was a bit under par. I would have been disappointed if I had paid the full price.

The welcome was off handed and completly disinterested. Our 1st room smelt of cigars, the second had a strong chemical smell and the 3rd was a little betterbetter except forbare wires in TVbathroom light hanging out of it's socketMould in the bathroom.A broken bulb and box just left on the chair.Curtain could not close unless wedged closed. (I have taken photo's of all these should anyone wish to see them)We have used Late Rooms before and especially the secret rooms section before and have found some real gems in London. I started to worry when I discovered that the rating was self- accreditation and not independantly verified. Everything about this stay was terrible with the single exception of the doorman who was utterly charming and helpful. This experience has made me very cautious of using secret rooms again. That been said we also found the Stafford Hotel which was fantastic, in complete contrast to the Millennium Bailey.

Staff were courteous and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. The only negative would be that there was food smell which pervaded the room - it may have been above the kitchen?

Very good hotel. Lovely room and nice upgrade. Very expensive, especially bar and restaurant. I cannot believe that anybody would pay the hotels displayed rates. Even the LateRooms price was not cheap. Staff on Reception gave us an upgrade but were unhelpful when we tried to book another night in the hotel (which was full) or in a nearby hotel. I would go back again but only if I found a realistic internet low price.

I have stayed here previously and chose it on this occasion because of its locality - close to tube station and within easy reach of Chelsea & Westminster Hospital.Checking in was fast and efficient. The bedroom was a good size, the bed comfy however the upholstry was rather shabby and grubby. This was a perhaps one off but I was confronted by a large cockroach in the bathroom - it put me off eating breakfast in the hotel and I was not impressed by their handling of the situation. I took the dead insect down to reception to show them what they were dealing with - "Is it still alive?" "Oh, sorry!" That was it! Not impressed.Could not in all honesty recommend the hotel based on this visit although previously I have been pleased with the hotel.
