Bit further out of central London than I usually stay but got a good deal so why not? The hotel was in a nice area slap bang next to Stamford Bridge but as there was no match on it was relatively quiet. Was clean and the staff were friendly. A bit soulless and sterile as these chain hotels so often are but would probably stay again for the same price.

On the whole very good, in fact good in every respect except the obviously very cheap loo roll. Why why why do hotels insist on buying the cheapest, scratchiest loo roll they can find? I know it's cheaper, but you use 3 times as much so it's a false economy!

It seems a massive saving per night when you see the price on Laterooms, but what you pay is what you get. As soon as they realise you are a laterooms customer on check-in the service stops. You are given a room in the Copthorne (older) section of the hotel . And none of you preferences are even looked at. You are given the basic, entry level room. I have stayed at much better value hotels in London at less than this so called "discount" price. DON'T BOTHER. A BIG CON

Arrived late Sunday and left early Monday, so can only really comment on quality of room and breakfast which were very good for the price we paid through Laterooms.com. I wouldn't pay the full advertised price though, which would have been over 4 times as much, though I guess this would be the price at peak. Only limited experience of customer service which was polite, although housekeeping failed to supply toothpaste when requested as they had run out.

Easy access to Fulham broadway tube station, giving links to most of london.Would definetly return to this hotel if i could get it for the same price!

I had the option to book a standard or superior room. Have stayed in both before and chose the superior room, when I arrived the room I was given was no different to the standard stayed in previously. I went to reception and to ask had there been a mistake and was told no I was in a superior room but for extra I could upgrade to a club room. I have stayed in this hotel quite a few times and believe they are trying to charge people extra for something you believe you have already paid for. If you read the room description between Standard and Superior there is no difference. My advice is don't stay in a hotel with that tries to mislead people however if you chose to stay don't pay to upgrade as the rooms are no different. Also I think it is very poor that a 4* superior room does not have a mini bar unless you call down and request one.....the idea of a mini bar is the ability to have a drink without the need of room service.

We had a twin room. It was a weekend in London with my 16 year old son to go watch a premiership football game. When I booked the room I was told I was saving 607.00 on a 400.00 per night room for the two nights. All I can say was at 183.00 it was a rip off. The room was dark, dingy, cramped and extremely poorly designed. The shower head was broken and sprayed just about the whole bathroom apart from the person standing under it. The hotel is right by Chelsea FC and looks very new. The room could have been 20 years old. Only stay here if you can get a get a cheap deal and do not want to spend any time in the room and are going to a Chelsea game and don't want the hassle of getting to and from the ground. TV only gets 8 channels and 4 of those are sport (so for some that is great!) TV can only be seen from one bed. I have stayed in many hotels around the world and most are what they claim to be - this was a total disappointment and I would definitely not stay there again.

At the time of booking i requested a double room, it stated on my booking confirmation that i had requested a double room. When i arrived i was booked in but on entering my room i had been given a twin room. Phones down to reception only to be told that they had over subscribed rooms and that was all they had available and we could 'push the beds together' if we wanted. After complaining there was no room for negotiation so thats what we did. Not sure if i would stay here again!!

We stayed here because we got a "big" discount bringing the room rate down to GBP88.12, alledgedly from more than GBP400. Well, it was fine, worth the money at that price, but a good (bad ?) example of an artificial discount from a ludicrously high rack rate. No complaints, we only slept there and it was fine for that, but unless I was interested in catching sight of a Chelsea player I probably wouldn't bother staying there again.

1 night stay at the Copthorne. We weren't offered the club room upgrade on check in and it was only later I noticed the sign on reception stating it was £40 not £20 as indicated in other reviews. Wasn't in a position to take the offer up as we were pretty well sorted by that time and would only have been able to gain limited use of the happy hour, plus we had breakfast at the cafe across the road (OK). Made sure there wasn't a game on the night of our stay as it might have been very different. Had a light meal in Frankies next door which again was OK & reasonably priced (be mindful they add 12.5% gratuity by default).Room was OK, bed comfy and enough space in the room with all the facilities anyone should need for a brief stopover. Also worth mentioning the concierge helped us out late at night by getting some painkillers (seemed to go out of his way to get them which is more customer friendly than some places). All in all a reasonable place, quiet, location appeared safe, security on site due to Chelsea FC and £25 for 24 hrs car parking seems reasonable for the location.
