On arrival our booking had to be re-made but laterooms price was upheld. The location was ideal for our visit and the room was of a reasonable size. Breakfast was very expensive so we ate in a local cafe on the way to Earls Court where they offer a free croissant with every coffee. We did eat one evening in Frankies restaurant next to the hotel which was lovely. The consierge was extremely helpful providing a map and directions for a shopping trip.

I went to London for the first time...
I went to London for the first time at the weekend from Saturday to Monday. We drove and made use of the Hotel carp park whihc was 25 per 24 hours, which i thought was outragious but typical for London! We arrived just after 1 pm on the Saturday and left around 9.30am on the Monday, the car park was only 29 as we didnt get up to the 48 hour mark which was a bonus! We stayed in room 513 and the only problem I had with the room is that the single bed felt like it had seen it's best days a long while ago, it felt as if it was ready to colapse any minute, the base of the bed swayed from side to side, so for a larger person may have been a problem! and the matress was sunken in the middle, apart from that, we had a great stay! A taxi from the hotel to Green Park station, near the centre was around 13 and the nearest tube, Fullham Road is about 5 minutes walk which was great. all in all recommended and would stay there again!

We booked a room at a rate of 90 for Saturday 22 August. Whilst checking in we were informed by the receptionist that we could have an upgrade to a better room, free drinks and canapes in the Executive Lounge between 5-7pm, breakfast the following morning and a 30% off voucher for dinner at Marco's. All for the princely sum of 20 each. Bargain! A delightful lady in the Executive Lounge looked after us famously and kept us plied with drinks before we went off to Marco's for probably the best dinner we have ever had. Anywhere! In the world! We cannot eulogise enough about the sensational food - it was sublime. Marco's Australian wine at less than 20 a bottle was good value for money and with our 30% off voucher, we ate and drank like Lords for less than 50 a head. For my partner, who is a lifetime Chelsea supporter, it was a wonderful trip down memory lane recalling his visits to the ground, as a small boy, standing in the Shed. The back wall of which has been preserved for future generations to worship. There were two blips during our stay - one of the two lifts in the Millenium Hotel was broken - and since there are no stairs (apart from the fire escape) that made moving around the hotel a bit tedious. Breakfast in the Executive Lounge on Sunday morning was hit and miss. The lovely lady from the previous evening was on duty again but had only one helper who spoke virtually no English. This really seems like 'spoiling the ship for a ha'pporth of tar'. For goodness sake get this gem of an employee some decent support so she can run the Lounge at the standard she so obviously aims for. Although I didn't recognise him (!) Ricardo Caballo was also having breakfast, so I guess for the footie mad there is the possibility of seeing their heroes. Not quite sure what statement the French guest in his Arsenal shirt was making tho ....

Hotel Booking in ideal. Room good, but outdated. Bedding new, but room had air of the 80's. Bathroom needs a total overview as old and minimal amount of water came out of shower.<br />That said room very clean and tidy. No noise from neighbours etc. Wish knew what was included with the upgrade as would have done that, thought it was just a better room.<br />Highy recommend as room clean, tidy and of a good size compared to most in London. do believe hotel is currently being modernised so above should be sorted.<br />Would stay again, but would probably pay for the upgrade.

Good location with nearby tube station and positioned outside the congestion charge zone.We were offered an upgrade to include breakfast and access to the club lounge for 20 per room per night this proved well worth the money. The staff at breakfast were very attentive and gave excellent service. The 55 restaurant was however fully booked for all of our stay so we were directed by staff to Frankies diner, this proved to be a mistake, the service was extremely poor bordering on arrogant and the food was mediocre to say the least,so when the bill came with 12.5% service charge it did not help my digestion. The charge was discretionary so I exercised my discretion and refused to pay it. I have to say this was absolutely the worst "Parmo" I have ever had,I suggest Frankie comes to the North East to sample a real one ( Middlesbrough, home of the "Parmo"). The Gourmet Burger Kitchen in Fulham Broadway is excellent with first rate service.<br />

Our reservation was "lost". As we waited for the reservation to be found we sat done where we were told to wait. The receptionist forgot about us and two other guests. When we finally got to check in we had to give all the information given to the reservation site again. <br />When we checked out, the tax was added on top of the already taxed amount. It was sorted out, but didn't improve on the already bad impression of the hotel.

Our rooms were great and really I have only minor suggestions for improvement. I didn't buy the breakfast because I thought both the Continental at over 12 and the Traditional at around 15 were over-priced. Additionally there was little on offer for Vegetarians to replace meat items in the Traditional. I went over the road to Indibites which offered a good breakfast for around 5. We also had a double-room but only one bathrobe was provided. Again, a minor niggle but this is a high-quality hotel. These aside I thought that the quality of the Hotel was great and the staff very friendly. I would book there again.

Stayed in the Millenium section of the hotel room 1115. Room was great if on the smaller side but still nice and cosy. Bed was extremely comfortable with a choice of hard or soft pillows. The air conditioning didn't seem to work properly i.e it wasn't able to lower the room temperature. This wasn't anything major as the room was still comfortable to sleep in.<br />The rate (90) was room only so didn't sample the breakfast although the menu listed the Full English Breakfast at 17.50 which I thought was a bit pricey considering there are tonnes and tonnes of little cafes serving fantastic food in the area and a starbuck / pret a 5 minute walk away. Had dinner at Frankie's which is next door ( and part of the hotel?) Great food and friendly staff. Would definitely stay in the hotel again.

This hotel looked very nice and good value for money but actually our experience wasn't good. When we arrived our room hadn't been allocated and after a while we were told that we'd been given a 'free upgrade' to an apartment. When we saw the apartment we were very disappointed as it was very bleak and soulless. There were no pictures on the walls or touches to make the room feel welcoming. There was a tv stand with no tv on it, no literature about the hotel or area and no tea or coffee making facilities. We tried 5 times to get tea/coffee/milk but never got any. The air conditioning did not work and as we were on the flightpath to Heathrow, opening the window was too noisy. We asked the concierge to order us a taxi but this was not done. When we left we asked if we could leave the car in the carpark or we would happily move it. We were told it was fine. When we got back they charged us 25! After arguing they reduced it to 15 but after all the other problems we had, it left us feeling very dissatisfied.<br />

The hotel accommodation was fantastic, my room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable I had a sofa in my room, plasma TV and most importantly the place was clean. The room was air conditioned which was something I specifically asked for on the late rooms website. However they did charge 10 for internet access for 24 hours which in other hotels from the website is free. However the thing that really annoyed me and is why I will not be returning is the fact that after specifying a hotel with parking on the late rooms website, and this one was returned. After I had parked my car in the hotel car park I was told that the charge was 25 for 24 hours!!! Had I been told this on the late rooms website I would not have booked the room, as other hotels do not charge!

A hotel that is just about keeping its 4*'s, on arrival I was imformed that the amount I had booked at was +vat (it actully came out at the price I had booked but looked bad at the desk). I was also informed that laterooms system had booked me a twin room rather then a double, and they had no other double rooms avalible in the Copthorne section (the cheaper rooms) even though my booking sheet cleaerly states that I had booked a double. They offerd an upgrade to a double room but at an extra 40 a night it seemed too much (paid 67 a night on the offer.)<br />Also the parking charge at 25 was slightly expensive(perhaps not for central london), and felt like a last minute addition as I only saw it after the room was booked on the final booking recipt. the room was worth what we paid for it, but is not worth anywhere near the amount they would normmaly want.<br />Plus points: room was quite clean, beds were very comftable and the bathroom was nice, but floor could have been cleaner.

It may say 4* on the outside ,but inside totally different, the rooms are fairly basic, there is nothing to sugest that they quantify that high a rating, I booked a double, but because I was traveling alone I was asked if wouldn't mind changing it to a twin, which in itself wasn't a problem, but to be placed in a smoking room was, as a non smoker there was a distintive smell of stale tobacco.<br />Then there was the bed which again didn't live up to a 4* rating, it was uncomfortable and was sagging in the middle, so being alone I tried the other bed, but then I couldn't see the tv that well.<br />Overall if I hadn't booked through Laterooms and got such a good deal there would be no way I would have stayed at this hotel, I don't know how they can justify an alledged 400 a night, in my opinion they are living off the back of Chelsea FC.<br />But if you do stay here the plus side is the 2 very good resteraunts just outside the door, I went to Frankies and had a vey nice meal and resonable prices.

A room was not available at check in. I was informed to return in a hour, which I did. I then had to wait 15 minutes in a queue to be informed that a room was still not available. I refused to go away for another period of time, after waiting another 30 minutes a room was offered which was not my initial choice of room, in fact in my opinion a room of less quality but to add insult I was asked to pay another 40 if I wanted it. I refused after another 15 minutes wait I was provided with a room, with not even an apology. I was able to still arrive at my pre arranged meeting on time but the delay of room availability caused intense inconvenience as I had no time to prepare in comfort without distractions for my meeting. I decided to pay an additional cost on Saturday for a late check out, yet i was hassled to leave the room by the cleaner on several occasions and by staff via the telephone on the morning of check out. On checking out I was asked to pay for the late check out service again, which I refused as I had paid the previous day. No explanation was given why I was asked to pay again, and why I was rudely asked to leave the room. Not even an apology.

It's a really nice looking hotel and the quality of the rooms / beds is excellent. The bathroom was a little scuzzy for a four-star but not really any major problems with the accommodation itself. Location is good - a couple of hundred yards from the tube station (from where you can get to the circle line very easily, making most of central London accessible, and it's pretty much a flat run from the tube, meaning that it should be okay for wheelchair users. We paid about 65 for a Saturday night (no Chelsea game on, obv) which for a good-quality hotel in the centre of London is pretty good value.<br />However, we did have a few issues:<br />The hotel did not give us the double room we had booked, but put us in a twin. It took them a couple of hours for them to sort us out with a double room in the smoking sector which, fair enough, didn't really smell at all of smoke. It was rather inconvenient, though.<br />Second, they couldn't take my Visa debit or credit card, and took a joint account card purely to charge the deposit to - and then charged the room to it, screwing up our finances.<br />Third, they were happy for the concierge to look after our bags but when we came to collect them we were just shown to the room with everyone's bags and asked to pick - not very secure!

What a great modern and central hotel. And with a garage attached for just 25 a day (good for London). The staff lept to greet our car and took our luggage in a style normally only found in much more grand establishments. The rooms were modern and had every facility. We did not eat in the hotel, but ALL the staff we encountered in reception or the bar were first rate and delightful. A wonderful base.

The room was clean and comfortable. I have stayed here a lot becoming more disillusioned each time. Room 716, blocked sink, blocked shower, sticky bathroom floor and a general urine smell. That was my last time particularly as they tried to persuade me to have a corporate account at what is more than i pay on late rooms Also insisted that the late room price is plus VAT which it never has been beofre. the parking at 25 for the night is v expensive and although i like Fulham Broadway and its amenities I wont be back here. All the bathroom floors are sticky by the way. Check out is terrible with only one member of staff at the peak time I was checking out who answers phone while plenty are waiting. Evenetually calls for back up. A sorry experience and one that needs sorting. Plus they are not part of the Copthorne reward scheme so no incentive to keep returning and when asked always say it is being reviewed.

Just back from a weekend for my sons birthday. Really helpful staff and a signed Chelsea birthday card given on arrival! Staff very friendly and gave us information about where my son could meet the players before the match...we upgraded to the Millenium Club package which was good as we had access to the lounge where free wine and beer and soft drinks were available from 5pm til 10pm and included a full english breakfast. The only recommendation is that should you order food in the Club lounge is has to be carried over the forecourt from the Copthorne Hotel and was on the cool side! Better to go to the restaurant or Frankies on site if you don't want to explore further afield. This weekend was the best present I could have given my son and would recommend the experience to any Chelsea fan as the atmosphere on match day was fantastic and since the players meet at the Millenium hotel for prematch breakfast you can be sure of photos and my son got his shirt signed by the players who were all really good with the small group of fans.

We found the hotel to be perfect for what we needed, compared to Holiday inns etc the price was cheaper better hotel and decent location, just far enough out of the city to get some sleep but very easy to get into, with plenty of bars and restaurants near by. The breakfast is a rip off at 15 per head when most main courses in the Marco Pierre White restaurant on site are cheaper, i recomend popping down the road for a breakfast or coffee for around 4-5.<br />We ate at the Frankies restaurant on site and would not return in a hurry, i think they are just living on a name, the food was average and dry, the atmosphere of a wanabee posh bar, 3 toilet cubicles all with no toilet roll in themafter complaining went back in 20 minutes later and still no toilet roll, i think the manager was too busy texting on his phone which he was doing all evening whilst leaning against the bar. And lastly after being offered coffee i ordered one which when the bill arrived i asked where it was they had no idea i had ordered it.<br />After all of this and complaining we received 20% off the bill which was ok but would still not recomend or return myself to this jumped up Burger king.<br />The hotel was good though.

In the morning breakfast was fairly well organised but a fire alarm halfway through seemed to confuse the staff and before we could leave the restaurant it was switched off and we was told to resume our breakfast. As we left the hotel i had my car parking ticket validated and after paying 25 to leave my car in the underground car park for 24 hours, i drove out expecting to see a barrier and ticket machine but the barrier had been removed so i drove straight out, now realising i could have parked for free.

We were astonished at their rude attitudes. If it weren't for the hotel's location and refurbished rooms, I would never stay there again! The club lounge upgrade which comes with executive rooms is not worth it. Staff could not handle the turnover of tables at breakfast and there were people waiting for tables, when there were plenty of empty ones - it simply needed to be laid out. It was a complete disaster - and we stayed for 7 days - this was not a one off event.

Our bath had a blocked plughole so when you had a shower the bath filled up. We notified reception when we went out and when we came back it was fixed, so no complaints there.<br />There is a gym / pool but it is part of a health club and as such costs a fortune if all you want is a dip (we didn't bother)<br />On another note, our room overlooked (what i assume was) the players car park, which closely resembled a showroom of the most expensive cars available - it was an impressive sight, but it brought home in the clearest possible way just how overpaid these people are!!!

Good standard of hotel since refurbishment in terms of general facilities and quality of room. Service however lets the side down, with room service failing to answer during my stay and food delivered lukewarm 40 minutes after order. Still value for money for a central london hotel.

Great location but the hotel was average. I would say 3 star at best. Also, I thought I was getting a double but the small print said "allocation of room when you arrive". Definitely should have read the small print, so ended up with two small single beds.

This hotel was in a very good location for it all, tube, bars and restaurants. We will definately stay here again. A bit of advice is make sure that Chelsea are not playing at home when you stay as these hotels could not be any closer to the ground and i don't think our stay would have been as good were there a home game on. In all though an excellent stay.<br />

The location says Earls Court but it's really...
The location says Earls Court but it's really Fulham Broadway. Fulham isn't the easiest of places to get to from Central London - it's well connected just frustratingly bad service, always delays of some description or other. That said, I love Fulham. I've worked in the area for many years and am a Chelsea fan so will naturally always choose this hotel when I need to stay over. On this experience, the staff at the Check In desk seemed under qualified and struggled to get the booking system working. I was also kept waiting 30 mins before I could check in (at 3pm), each time being told that it would only be another 5 mins before the room was ready. Had I known it would be 30 mins I would have made myself comfortable in the bar but being assured it would be 5 mins with a smile just kept me hanging on.<br />There's 2 physical hotels and i've heard some horror stories about one of them but i'm not sure which one it was. I stayed in the big one which is above the restaurant and labelled The Copthorne Hotel. I really felt like i'd be stung for the price I was paying. The rooms are average, not bad, just very generic and slightly lacking the character which would make them decent. It was a Wednesday evening, there were no games or big functions on and it was a quiet time for the industry. The room prices fluctuate but I couldn't understand why this one was so expensive as it really is just average and with no mini bar.<br />If you're a Chelsea fan you may be disappointed with the quality of the feed you get from Chelsea TV - I have no idea why it's so poor but it's the same throughout all of the guest rooms.<br />With regards for ease of access, you can get in and out of the building without even seeing hotel staff! Either via the Car Park entrance or walking straight to the lifts on the ground floor. Check in is up the escalator on the 1st level of the hotel. It seems fairly family friendly because of the 24 hour presence of security guards outside the main entrance. Be careful if parking overnight because it's an easy 25 for 24 hours.<br />There's plenty of options for food 4 mins walk up the road because of the Fulham Broadway shopping center so I had no need to eat in the Hotel.<br />There's nothing bad about this hotel, it's just disappointingly average inside despite being in the grand setting of "Chelsea Village". The bad experience I received at check in probably made me look for the worst in the hotel as it really did leave me annoyed.<br />I wouldn't recommend it to a friend unless their requirements were exactly the same as mine - a hotel on the Fulham Road! If you're looking for hotels in the Earls Court area, there's better for cheaper (and closer) than this one.

Didn't eat at restaurant as was in other hotel. Standard of room was extremely good and great value at late rooms prices. Window in room didn't open but air conditioning was quiet and effective. Reception was crowded for arrival on match day.Altogether a pleasing hassel free stay.
