I hesitate to be negative about this B&B because the people are so friendly and helpful and it is generally clean , although not spotless (inches of dust on top of the telly). However the fact remains that the room was absolutely tiny, although OK for a night and some machine in close proximity kept making a very loud noise. The shower room was equally small and you have a job drying yourself without knocking yourself out. The bedding is a sheet and blanket rather than a duvet, which I, personally, don't like as I'm not sure how often blankets are washed in hotels generally! For the price I paid (85) it wasn't great value as I know there are better hotels for a similar price but it is well situated and I've stayed in worse.

Athough the hotel is small, it is clean and comfirtable. The reception service is OK, but the taxi they booked for us is not at good price. We ran from hotel to victoria coach station, just very close to the hotel, it cost us 12 pounds, however, we just spent 6 pounds when we took taxi from victoria to this hotel. In general, it is really much better than Ambassador hotel near Glucester station because Ambassador hotel is very terrible hotel with poor equipment, very poor service, terrible hot in the room, I do not think Ambassador hotel is accredited. But I recommend Melita house hotel.

When we arrived they weren't expecting us as they said they hadn't received the Late Rooms.icom booking. The gentleman on reception was the only person working when we arrived at 11 p.m. We, a mother with three daughters aged 18,16 and 12 asked for assistance with a suitcase up the many flights of stairs we had to climb to our room and we were told that no one was on duty. The said "gentleman" left the 18 year young lady carry the suitcase up the many flights of stairs. It wasn't a good first impression of the hotel or of London. Geraldine Rawle

Nice hotel in a good location in Victoria where I often find it difficult to find a decent hotel. Half way between Vitoria and Pimlico tube, would recommend pimlico as quiet but main area around Victoria only a short walk. Room good for this price and breakfast was good quality and decent choice. At the price I paid very good hotel which I will use again.

great place to come for business, with high speed internet available everywhere. Rooms were very clean and user friendly. Near to one of the main subways victoria. The staff were extremely helpful during my stay especially as I had numerous faxes being sent to reception. To be highly recommended all around.

This hotel is in a decent location for public transport and there are lots of restaurants close by.
The room was basic but clean and modern and the price was good.
I was disappointed with the breakfast though - I only wanted some fruit but they didn't have any!
Overall though it served my needs well and I would stay there again in future.

Good place to be. The hotel is very clean and is quite well located. The rooms are warm and kind. We just had some problems with sanitary facilities. But definitely a place to come back. By the way: Pimlico Tube Station is nearer than Victoria.
