Where It Is

Found just a short walk from North London's spectacular Regent's Park in Marylebone, Melia White House enjoys a fantastic location on the edge of central London where the concrete of the city meets the lush green of Regent Park and up to Primrose Hill. Melia White House is situated within a stroll of Madame Tussauds Waxworks Museum to the west and South to the high street stores of Oxford Street straight down Portland Street (or 1 Bakerloo tube ride from Regents Park to Oxford Circus). For transport links, Euston, Kings Cross and St Pancras are 10-15 minutes' walk. Whilst you are in this area, the British Museum, frequently voted among the top ten London attraction is close by. The Hotel is served by Great Portland Street tube station which operate the Hammersmith & City, Circle and Metropolitan Lines.

What To Expect

The former home of many prominent London socialites, the hotel was once one of London's most desirable addresses. With its 4-Star deluxe rating and 581 accommodations, Melia White House continues this reputation today, with guests enjoying a simply superb hotel experience.

Each room is a mix of browns and cream decor, floor to ceiling thick drapes to block out any natural lights whilst you sleep with a mix of ornate furnishings and classic established dark wood pieces of furniture. Bathrooms are well proportioned, mostly with bath and shower configuration and marble flooring, black granite sink furniture. All bedding is 100% cotton,

Choose from one of three areas designated for food. Menus have been created by Executive Chef Gines Lorente Barcelona where he has been since 2007. Prior to London, Gines has cooked food through China and Spain after training at Hospitality College of Cartegena in his native Spain.

His award-winning restaurant L'Albufera, as you would imagine, is Spanish-styled with a menu to match. Serving Fine Dining each evening, choose from Venison, Beef Fillet, Tapas, Langoustines and mouth-watering desserts.

The Place is less formal with a nutritionally balanced menu to suit all ages. Choose from salads, Pastas, Chicken, Beef Steaks rounded off with a bottle of Tempranillo or Cervezas. You can of course eat in both restaurants and head for Longford's Bar, a wood panelled Cocktail Bar dressed with occasional tables and comfortable chairs. Open from 11:00am till very late with light bites, salads, pizzas and Tapas.

If you wish to mellow out, The Therapy Rooms have a menu of treatments from Waxing (for both Men & Women) Exfoliation, Stress Recovery and Jet Lag revivers. Treatments start from £30. For our Fitness customers, the in-house training room has at least 4 running machines, rowers, fixed and free weights.

If you are not sure which room to book, Suites are extra special, with king-size beds and access to the private lounge, the Classic Double is more than enough with elegant furnishings. The Superior Double includes Breakfast as does the Executive Double. This room gives you extra special access to The Level Lounge with a feast of benefits from private check-in /check-out are, a huge Executive lounge with complimentary WIFI Internet access, Full English breakfast, afternoon tea, evening drinks and canapés. Worth a look at upgrading to this option.
