This hotel's curious name stems from its history as an Edwardian hat factory, but it now accommodates guests on the banks of the Thames in Bermondsey. The South Bank is packed full of tourist attractions, from HMS Belfast to Shakespeare's Globe, and there is also the thriving Southwark area just a short walk away. Directly across the river is the City of London financial district, while Southwark tube station serves the Jubilee Line to places such as Westminster, the O2 Arena and Canary Wharf.

The Mad Hatter is one of the splendid boutique hotels owned by London's Fuller Ale Brewing company. The hotel provides 30 cosy bedrooms alongside a traditional English pub, creating a charming, characterful hotel experience right at the heart of the city. There is a nod to the establishment's history in the form of an array of vintage hats displayed throughout the pub.
