My stay at the Hotel Lord Kensington was very satisfactory. The price reasonable and the room was clean and comfortable. Free Internet was a big plus for me.

Very nicely done up tradional building, bed rather hard for me, very good value, convenient for the Earl's Court tube.

Liked the location - near to Earls Court...
Liked the location - near to Earls Court U/G station. Arrived early and left luggage with friendly reception (luggage in room on arrival back later). Two double bed room overlooking station, clean but had been 'smoked in' by previous occupant. C/H a bit difficult to control and railway noise when window open. Bathroom adequate but unheated.Continental breakfast fair - boiled eggs, cheese, toast, rolls, croissant, fresh fruit and jam. Dining room was being refurbished so a bit cramped (finished area looked nice). Generally got what we expected (bit put off by being asked to pay on arrival - wondered what was wrong). There are better hotels in the road but at much higher (90% more) room rate.

We stayed for nights midweek Hotel is in...
We stayed for 2 nights midweek. Hotel is in a great location, 2 minutes from the Earls Court tube station. Asked for a double room and ended up with a double bed and a single but it meant our room was a good size. Small television with basic channels but who cares when you have the whole city to explore. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. No problems with room, everything worked although the bathroom is a little cramped. I would recommend this hotel if you are visiting London and not spending to much time at the hotel. I wouldn't have liked to have spent too long in the room but for sleeping, showering and relaxing inbetween visiting places it was very adequate. This is a very basic hotel but for the price you really can't complain.

For the cost of this hotel the location...
For the cost of this hotel the location was great, right next to Earls court, easy to find and near shops for food/drink supplies. I asked for a room away from the rail tracks and that is what we got. We didn't experience any noise, not sure if that was just because of the time of year the hotel was fairly quiet. Would recommend this to my friends.

Nice room good service but you need to...
Nice room + good service but you need to get a room not facing railway line. The room was nicem but if I was to stay there again you must insist on a room away from the railway as it's bloody noisy ( get a street side room )If I had a street side room I would have been happy.

Room clean and tidy however very small only...
Room clean and tidy however very small only access to one side and bottom of double bed which was slanted so kept rolling towards outside edge! Nice clean shower however again room really small, have to sit on toilet at an angle. Breakfast nice but plain and same as what you would get at home. The tube station is right behind the hotel so not great if you are a light sleeper! On a good note it's just down the road from Earls Court so great location if wanting to stay close.

As above, great location for Earls Court, literally 3 mins walk from pubs, shopping yet on a very quiet off main road location. Excellent service from the front desk staff but breakfast was a big let down. No hot food and no clue as to what was going on in the kitchen.

The hotel was very poor and not what...
The hotel was very poor and not what I expected at all. The rooms were very small and my collegues were disatisfied. They tried to charge 3% for using a credit card and weren't very friendly or helpful. The hotel overlooks Earls Court train station and was very noisy which meant we didn't get much sleep due to the train noise. The view also onto the back garden was an over grown jungle. Breakfast consisted of Toast, Cereal and Boiled Eggs, not really a continental breakfast at all. Considering I have spent £350 in this hotel in the last month, I wouldn't spend another penny there if it were the last hotel in London. Not a good experience!!!!
