We stayed here due to it's central location, although it is situated next to the train station (which is undergoing extensive refurbishment at present) and our room overlooked the station, we were not disturbed by any noise.
The room was quite small (we did have an upgrade to a superior), but no smaller than expected for a city hotel. For us it was a bed for a night, we weren't planniing on spending a lot of time in the hotel so it was more than adequate for our needs. The bathroom was quite smal too, but it was clean and the shower was of a decent strength which is all you need! (The shower was over the bath - not a separate shower with bath, in case that matters to anyone!)
The bed was big and very comfy, there were tea & coffee facilitiies and some lovely toiletries in the bathroom! Plenty of towels were supplied, a bathrobe, slippers, hairdryer - pretty much anything you would need for a one night stay!
We also arrived earlier than the check in time, but the hotel staff were very accomodating and let us check in early for no extra charge (I did ring the hotel a couple of days before my visit warn them of a possible early arrival and they did say they couldn't guarantee giving us an early check in, but they'd try their best!). The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful.
We hadn't booked breakfast, but we went down for breakfast the next morning - nothing wrong with breakfast, but nothing special either. It was £17 each, expensive but average for London prices. If you get a deal to include breakfast, go for it, if not there are plenty of restaurants around the area.
