Summary
The room was excellent very quiet and comfortable. The bed and bathroom clean and spacious. Breakfast although not cooked was excellent with pleasant service and excellent coffee. Cereals juice and usual continental choices with self service except for hot drinks and toast.
Summary
Although it says recently renovated this suggests the info needs to be updated. very dated. If u you had marketed the hotel as a plesent but basic hotel with good cleaning standards i feel would have been more appropriate. Nothing awful by any meand but underwelmed by this hotel when website looked so promising.
Summary
Not very good.
Summary
Ideally situated on the borders of Hampstead would use this hotel again.
Summary
I stayed at this hotel because the Travelodge was going to cost £149 which is daylight robbery! I was very impressed with the Langorf. Very clean, well equipped and quiet. It was very good value especially if you consider that breakfast is included. Only 5 minutes walk from Finchley Toad tube too.
Summary
Nice, clean, friendly hotel, good location, close to some lovely shops and tube station. nice area, felt safe on my own. would happily stay again. shirley barfield
Summary
A friendly comfortable hotel in a pleasant quiet area of London close to Hampstead. Room could've been cleaner on first arrival but otherwise no complaints. Very good value for money.

Summary
Lovely hotel in lovely location. Staff were very helpful and very willing to help - nothing too much for them.
Rooms were large and smelt a little stuffy but the age of the hotel was probably the reason.
Breakfast was cold - had hoped for a hot meal - but it was ok and the staff were very nice.

Summary
Nothing really to complain about but for £135 you dont get much in London! Bathroom had a shower, loo and basin but little room to move about in. Room was very small and very dated decor. But we only wanted it to sleep in for one night, so it did the job ok.
Summary
Decor was from the 1970s, room smelt of moth balls, plumbing in the room was faulty.
Summary
You need to be sure that you have the room you thought you had booked.
I was put in a dump up the road under the pretence that this was an upgrade to a studio.
The studio was disgusting so I had to search elsewhere for a room once they had agreed to give me my money back. DO NOT PAY UPFRONT BUT CHECK THE ROOM FIRST! I doubt it will match expectation!
The hotel was excellent for our 2 day visit, very friendly welcome, good advice concerning restaurant etc. nearby. We had a larger room.
Summary
I have no complaints about either the cleanliness of the room or the friendliness of the staff. I had four very quiet nights in this extremely pleasant part of Hampstead, only a few minutes walk away from Finchley Road and bus and tube connections.
Stayed at the Langorf for 1 night in April 2011. The hotel is situated in Hampstead with about a 10 minute walk to Hampstead village and tube station. The room (twin) was spacious and clean although a little tired so maybe ready for a refurb. All the staff were friendly and went out of their way to ensure my stay was problem free. Unfortunately, I left my keys in the room but within a couple of hours the hotel had contacted me and agreed to forward them to my home address.
Sadly, the Langorf only provides a continental breakfast which could be dissapointing for those expecting a full English.
My granddaughter and i had a comfortable and enjoyable stay - she - being 6 and a pink princess- loved the pink decor and enjoyed a help-yourself breakfast. Definitley want to come again!!
Summary
An excellent hotel with helpful, friendly staff. If i was being finicky i would say that the bathroom was a little cramped but that was about it! We felt comfortable the minute we walked in the place and although we spent most of the time doing the touristy thing it was a pleasure to return to the room and relax. The continental breakfast was of a very good quality with fresh crusty bread rolls, croissants, pastries, excellent coffee and a choice of cheese and meats! We ate our fill! Thanks for the stay ... Very enjoyable.

Brilliant
Summary
Very helpful receptionist when we booked in, helped us to sort out the parking etc. The room and the bedding was nice and clean. The bathroom was ok but very small, the bath panel in our room was pretty badly damaged & the shower wasn't great. The continental breakfast was a bit basic but the orange juice was fab!
I'm pretty hard to please & found things acceptable, we were there less than 24 hours so can't really say much more.
For my purposes of needing a room for 1 night only, accomadation was reasonable and clean and against room tarrif of £75 for a room in LOndon, 5 minute walk from tube which was good.
Summary
The best thing about the hotel was the food, and location.
there were too much noise from rooms next to us, there were also to much noise from cleaners in the morning, so no lie in for me.
i really cant see what the hype is with this hotel.
Stayed for one night nothing to complain about good value for money
Summary
Staff was very helpful, the room was comfortable and clean, continental breakfast only which was quite adequate. Location is very useful for travelling into the centre of London.
Summary
The hotel was pretty much as we expected. The decor is a bit dated and a little tired. The hotel and room were reasonably clean. The continental breakfast was good, with a wide selection. Overall we thought it represented good value, particularly given the location.
Summary
Very 1990's - the hotel needs a makeover, but it was clean and quiet. Can't fault the staff at breakfast. Was not happy to be told at 10pm that I should walk down to the main street to find some food.
Summary
Very good experience overall.
I was very disappointed that having checked in late and asking for directions to somewhere i could grab something to eat I wandered for about 20 minutes in the wrong direction before returning to the hotel to find that in fact it could have been a 2 minute journey DOWN the hill.
appart from this very friendly clean and servicable accomodation, thank you
We stopped for one night and used the hotel as a stopover for my sons and I. The room was nicely decorated, and a modern bathroom. It was fully booked on our night, and only criticism would be the noise of the fire doors. Apart from that it was a great stay with comfy beds and friendly staff
Summary
A pleasant little place with friendly staff and clean rooms, self serve breakfast was quite good. Down side was that there was no parking
Summary
Cannot have any complaints against the hotel for the price we paid - Room was clean, nicely furnished, hotel was within two minute walk of two zone 2 tube stops, breakfast was continental (sadly) and dining area was a bit cramped, reception and serving staff were pleasant and helpful, able to leave bags with reception on the day of departure to collect later on.
Summary
The Langorf is not particularly expensive for such a central location. The room was clean and comfortable, and was cleaned each day. The reception staff were unfailing polite and helpful. There are no frills, but the stay was pleasant.
Summary
Quiet location but within easy walking distance of tube stations and bus stops. Hotel was recently decorated and we had a large double room with lovely en-suite bathroom and all expected extras. Staff were very fiendly and helpful and also kept bags free of charge after checkout. Good continental breakfast with plenty of choice. Great value for money and would definitely recommend and use again.
Summary
Having worked around the country in many different locations, i find myself in london struggling to find somewhere decent to stay and not costing too much. This hotel is in an expensive area and is good value for money in london, excellent continental breakfast, clean comfortable room, will definately stay here again, only downside was awkward parking, but i think that is the same everywhere in london!
Summary
The hotel was really nice and friendly. They even offered us cheaper different combination of rooms when we got there as a couple from our party were unable to make it. Highly recommended.
Summary
Better than I expected. Rooms are smart, well sized. Staff were friendly. Everything was clean. Breakfast was nothing exciting but done the job. Happy with what I got got the price
Summary
My room at the Langorf was spacious and pretty (on the pink side, but not gaudy); the neighbourhood was quiet and beautiful, which matters a lot to me. The view outside was into a garden.
There is a lift, although to get to the hotel entrance there is still a staircase to climb, on which I had to haul my luggage.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a 24h reception desk.
One downside for me was the fixed showerhead - I honestly hate those things, because I don't think *I* should be turning like a sunflower after the shower and it should obey me instead, and also at some point I couldn't get cooler water no matter how I turned the so-called thermostat. Being scolded at the end of a long tiring day wasn't much fun, but not enough to sour me towards the hotel. Standard toiletries offered, including hairdryer. No earplugs though, and I could hear someone snoring heavily in the other room, so mind the thin walls.
I enjoyed the breakfast - lots of options to choose from and a nice room; didn't have any other meals there.
Closest to the Finchley Road tube station, not to be mistaken for the Finchley Road & Frognal railway station, which is also close but not *that* close. (If you're wondering who could mistake them - people new to London, like me, could and have done so. ;) )
Enough bars/restaurants/shops around and a 5 minute walk to the tube station. Great value for money.
Summary
The room was very small and tatty with ripped and stained wallpaper, the en-suite was also very small, you had to manuover around the door to gain entrance, the shower doors were broken and would not close properly...............definately more 1 star than 4 star!!..........very dissapointed.
Summary
Hotel tired and needs refurbishment, peeling wallpaper, torn curtains etc Breakfast was continental not full English, ok but not made clear in advance.
