Worth the pennies!
Lovely spa and massage - but dear.
Excellent cocktails
Good location.
Very stylish
Much needed delicious breakfast
They could not do enough for us. I am a wheelchair user and did not mention when booking as I have usually managed without aids etc but when arriving at the langham they upgraded us to a room which was huge so I had no problems and there was a walk in shower on a flat surface so I did not need to "manage" I managed perfectly well thank you!

My daughter and I stayed here in order to take part in the Moonwalk around London (held after midnight) on behalf of Breast Cancer. The staff were all delightful, and kindly let us check in early and also stay on for a couple of hours after normal check out time, in order to have a lie in and use the spa. I couldn't recommend the staff more highly - they certainly appear a happy team. Thank you!
Summary
I didn't think this hotel was good value at all. I booked a luxury room at a cost of around £350. The room itself was nicely decorated but there wasn't much space. The bathroom was cramped and the bath was too small for a good soak. The room looked inwardly over the air conditioning units.
We decided to come back for a drink after dinner only to find the bar shut at 22:40. It was Easter but we were told that it would be open until late.
Fantastic breakfast at Albert Roux restaurant.
Nice big room with a superb comfortable big bed. Room on the inside of the hotel, courtyard, so very quiet.
Good friendly discreet service.
On check in we were informed that our room was extremely small but for £30+VAT per night we could upgrade to a larger room (room 308). This room (308) was extremely small for a hotel of The Langham's quality. The Langham obviously only offer extremely small rooms to Late Room users as you have to pay extra for rooms that were obviously available. Draw your own conclusions!
Summary
The Hotel is very grand and the service was almost excellent, a bit slow booking in but got an upgraded room, bit of confusion with bags, but the feel of the place is lovely.
Just let down by no free wifi (others have mentioned this too), the pool was great but out of order on the Sunday morning and no free water at the pool or in the room £4 for a small bottle of water as you come out of a sauna is dreadful.
Finally booking through Laterooms was just cheaper than booking direct but no breakfast inlcuded - would have been better value to have booked direct with the hotel.
The Langham is very much a lightly refurbished hotel of yesteryear. If quaint nostalgia is your thing, you might love it, but recent renovations are skin-deep, focussing on the public areas. There is a seaside guesthouse feel to the hotel, from the cheap generic toiletries to the antiquated shower, and the ubiquitous pink chintziness of the chain's branding. Whilst the Langham would clearly never aspire to be a paragon of modern sophistication, there is so much better on offer in London for this sort of money.

Superb Hotel, We enjoyed our stay from start to finish.
Summary
Don't bother shopping around, if you're looking at the Langham then price is probably not a problem; this being the case, take my word for - this is the place to stay.
Great service, spotlessly clean, opulently stylish and fabulous location. I have stayed in many London hotels, always looking for one that ticks all the boxes and the Langham does it with amazing grace.

A wonderful stay in London to see in the New Year. Great location for shopping.
Have put VFM as 6 since we were given a room upgrade on arrival.
Would definitely stay there again.
This hotel is really nice and everything was great apart from the cleaner knocking on our door at 8.10am and waking us up! (very late night out and a bit hungover!). Really could have done without that wake up call!
They did also try to invoice me over double the amount I was quoted online for the room(I had to bring up the email from late rooms on my phone), so remember to check your invoice before you sign! Apart from that it was a lovely hotel.
Bit dissapointed the shower had quite a few hairs stuck to the wall from previous guest there was a loose panel behind the bathroom sink revealing very dirty pipework. The pool was being upgraded when we stayed room service food seemed expensive compared to other 5 star hotels that I have stayed at in London resently such as park Plaza Westrminster Bridge & The Mayfair. A great location for shopping nightlife etc
Summary
I used laterooms to make the booking as I needed a place to stay between my travel plans from Manchester to woking. I also wanted somewhere special as my wife and I had never lived in London central before. the hotel was located at the heart of the city and very easy to get to and from via taxi and tube stations. the front desk check in staff were courteous but not overly friendly. the room itself was nice and clean, however the bathroom showed the signs of a refurbished building. it was dated and the hot water tap was broken. this was the most disappointing part of the hotel. The food and room service came as stated around 45 minutes. the midnight snack was hot but the breakfast was cold on arrival. the room cost itself wasn't bad as I booked it in the morning and was there by the afternoon and everything was ready however, to charge for a room service table usage is ludicrous! I would have been happier if the hiked the price up to cover the cost or optioned me to not use their stupid table as their was a perfectly good desk in the room I could have used!

Simply put the Langham was everything we had expected. We are looking forward to returning soon.
Summary
We stayed at this hotel for our 20th wedding anniversary. Although there was a slight discrepancy over whether we had booked a double room or twin, as soon as they knew it was a special occasion the reception staff pulled out all the stops. We had a beautiful room with 7’ bed and complimentary champagne and strawberries. The hotel is ideally located within walking distance of Oxford Street and Bond Street shops and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning to this hotel in the future.
Summary
Interesting stay, the staff were almost over attentive. The Room was nice and a reasonable size for Central London, my only criticism would be the Shower, which was feeble.
The Breakfast Buffet was OK, but much too expensive and the seating and tables were not really suitable for eating food of a plate. The area is used as a tea room during the day and that just about works.
The Langham is a great hotel, and is in perfect location for waking to shopping, sights, and the theatre district. We didn't have to 'tube' anywhere. We also really enjoyed a heavenly nights' sleep at the Langham. The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. We will definitely come back here on our next trip to London.
Summary
The Langham hotel was just as I imagined, beautiful, fabulous staff that cant do enough for you and a perfect location.
However, when we received the bill under the door on the morning we were due to leave, we were surprised to find the full price, not the late rooms price, which was considerably more.
When we spoke to reception concerning the price, I had to phone my husband who then had to forward the confirmation email. It was a good job he was at home to send it as they were insistent that we proved our original booking.
Such a shame as this was otherwise a fabulous hotel, which I would recommend. Late rooms needs to make sure when making the bookings that the hotels are aware of the final price.
Also, the late rooms rate did not include vat, (when on other occasions the vat was inclusive on the web price, a bit more consistency would be appreciated) so when we eventually did sort out the bill we had to pay the vat on top.
Shame about the mixed up bill, but hotel was fabulous.
What a wonderful experience, I stayed here for just one night on a girlie trip to London. Afternoon tea was fabulous. We had cocktails in the bar afterwards which were wonderfully presented. We were upgraded on arrival as requested and I have never stayed in a better room than this, no expense spared. Staff cannot do enough for you. I cannot wait to return.
