Booked The Langham for one night to celebrate...
Booked The Langham for one night to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. Hotel was excellent. Stayed in one of the refurbished rooms so not sure what the others are like but all facilities in the room were perfect. Extremely comfortable King Size bed ! Did not eat dinner or breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on food. Staff were very helpful. Only slight grimble would be that the cocktail bar says it is open until 2.00 am. We arrived in there at 1.30 am (on a Saturday night) to be told that they were closed. They did relent and serve us but it felt like they wanted us to drink up and move on ! Would recommend the hotel to anyone. Great central location. We will be returning.

Excellent - very well positioned. Lots of staff - always very helpful.Food was expensive but very well presented and with one exception very high quality. Unfortunately the breakfast omlette was very rubbery, which was a great suprise as everything else was so goodCar parking very convenient but again pricey.Definately will go again

Heating did not work in room. Had to change rooms. I did not request, but would have expected the offer of some financial compensation for the disruption caused by having to change rooms. No such offer was forthcoming.Restaurant service incredibly slow. Food fine but we had lost interest by the time it arrived.Staff try hard but quite a few have problems with the English language. When leaving the lounge bar area before dinner I requested one of the waiters transfer the bill to our dinner bill. Despite him agreeing to do this my wife and invitee were accosted for payment when leaving the lounge bar area. This was embarrasing for them.Building and infrastructure very good. Its a shame the rest lets them down.

We stayed at The Langham as having Dinner...
We stayed at The Langham, as having Dinner with Friends. We were treated like Royalty, from the moment we arrived. We were given complimentry Champayne in the private lounge, while waiting for our room, which was upgraded to a suite, at no extra charge, as it was our wedding anniversary. We had a fab dinner too. Although the night at the Hotel, did not leave much change out of £450, we guess the upgraded room cost more then that, so we were very happy, and will stay again, SOON.

Wife needed a bit of TLC to overcome a theft and to do a bit of shopping to replace. Chose Langham having had good reports about it. A return visit is a definite must - a brilliant hotel in all respects. A superb welcome and a complimentary room upgrade.

The Langham is very luxurious, the gym is great, the pool is ok- clean and long and thin- good for doing lengths. They gave us a paper every day, and the room toiletries etc were nice and well presented. It's very clean, the bed was massive and comfy, the TV was good with loads of different language options. The concierge/reception staff were all very helpful. Only down side was room was too hot, the air fresheners in lobby were a bit overpowering (I have asthma) and it was very expensive, but I suppose we expect that in a Hotel of this quality in London (two glasses of breakfast orange- £9.50, PLUS a £1.20 table charge, and the breakfast was £30 a head)Location was great- good shops 10-15 mins walk away, and Covent Garden 20 minutes walk away. All in all we had a good time, and if we wanted a treat, we would definately come back.
