Where It Is
Taking its name from its close proximity to Lancaster Gate near Hyde Park, The Lancaster London enjoys a fantastic city centre location. Guests are just a short walk from Marble Arch and the West End, while on the other side of the park the museums and shops of Kensington await.
Getting Around
It is always convenient to be near one of London's many transport hubs, and The Lancaster London enjoys just such a luxury, with Paddington tube and rail stations just a short walk away. The tube from here serves the Bakerloo, Hammersmith & City, Circle and District Lines, meaning you can access many areas of the city directly in just a few minutes. Lancaster Gate tube station is also nearby, and serves the Central Line.
There are also many bus services passing by the hotel, including number 148, which heads to either lively Shepherd's Bush or the famous landmarks of Westminster. Number 274 terminates at Lancaster Gate, making it ideal for those worried about missing their stop, while if you'd like to get into the City and see some marvellous attractions such as Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square on the way, hop on the number 23.
