Good rooms, excellent location

The bottom-discounted rates seem to be for the basement, reached via gloomy stairs with stained threadbear carpet. Pay a bit more to go upstairs and you're getting excellent value for the location. The description "suite" is a bit of a stretch for the smaller ones, but the quality is good

Comfortable night in nice accommodation

Very comfortable, clean & modern. I was given an upgrade to a twin level room which gave me plenty of room. Breakfast simple but enjoyable and delivered to my room. Only gripe was the person in the room above walking back and forth (packing a suitcase?) at 3.15am for 45 minutes - obviously not the hotel's fault, but the hard wood floors did make it very noisy at such an early hour.

Strange place

We stayed in one of their 'modern' rooms in the annexe. this presumably was designed to hopefully create a feeling of space wehre not much existed, however it was really claustrophobic and moving around the room was a hassle with all the blinds and steps to be confronted. the bathroom had a sink where it was impossible to put your head over it to brush your teeth etc - rather a basic design fault.
the rooms had very thin walls as we realised when next door came in at 4am and put their music on at full blast. the hotel reception sorted this out really quickly though.
The best thing about this hotel was the location. maybe the rooms in the main block are better - i would only consider staying here again if i was definitely staying in that bit. where maybe the hotel hasn't been designed to cram as many rooms in as possible.

Good facilities but could have been cleaner. Was supposed to be a £500 per night suite but not sure if we were given this deal in reality.
Not being a traditonal hotel suited us and our son.

Weekend Break

We were in London to celebrate our friends 40th Birthday. Needed a central location and this hotel hit the spot. 2min walk to Baker Street tube, we couldnt ask for more. Arriving late on Friday, the receptionist showed us to our room (which was in a different building to the reception). The hotel was clean and new (looked unfinished in places, but my husband said that was the "look"). Everything we needed was there. Small room, but had a fridge, microwave, kettle, tv,playstation etc.......more than what we needed. The price was excellent. When we checked out, the hotel looked after our bags and we collected at teh end of the day with no problems. Would stay again when next in London, highly recommended.

When I booked the room I was told that I could not check in till 3pm however when we arrived in London at 9am we rang to see if there was anywhere where we could leave our bags and by half 9 we were at the hotel and checked into our room which was great. I payed extra to buy the executive suite and was a lot smaller than I had expected however the room was perfectly clean. The location of the hotel was great it was a 2 minute walk away from madame tussauds and 5 minutes from the tube station.

Disappointingly ordinary

When you stay in central London I expect and am happy to pay a premium for location, but I expect a higher quality than La Suite delivers. It's not bad, I just think I'd get more for my money elsewhere, they don't really try that hard to make your stay memorable. I won't be returning,
Plus:
Location, 5 mins from Baker Street tube.
Service; Friendly and efficient enough
Free-Wi-fi: Seemed quick and reliable
Left luggage: Saves carrying it around
Minus
Cleanliness: Not dirty just felt tired. Ok a bit grubby in places too.
Beds: Again tired which made them not the most comfortable
Size of room; Very small for family
Value for money; other similar priced hotels will make you feel more wanted/extra touches

Great location but not worth the expensive price tag

Small but very stylish room. Absolutely filthy though. No welcome pack. Mini bar half opened by previous guests. None of the staff spoke English as their first language. Sheets were not changed for the three days we were there. Blood in the sink. What bathroom there was smelt of stagnant water and damp. Towels tatty. Breakfast late and they got the wrong order everyday. All I can say is that we are cancelling our booking for October. The location was the best part of staying at la suite but otherwise spoilt our honeymoon

Boutique experience for reasonable £......

We stayed on a full Saturday night in the duplex 1 bedroom apartment which was tidy and clean on arrival. Reception staff were friendly and able to provide a laptop when mine wouldn't connect to their wireless internet....Had to change the AA batteries in both remotes but again these were replaced without fuss at reception. I would say that for what we were seeking from the hotel, it met our requirements well. Not as close to Soho as expected but close enough. Definitely not up to a £500 price tag but at just over £150, value for money

Shocking don’t stay

Room wasn't as described and as it stated that the room was a £400 pound room reduced to £200 we were shocked that it was so poor. Stayed on a Saturday night and was woken up at 7 o'clock by housekeeping/maintenance doing some work out-side our window, TV was basic even thou it stated hdtv (only 5 channels 3 in which were fuzzy). The guy at reception wasn’t just rude when we checked out he was unbeatable the worse receptionist I have ever set my eyes on. Didn't ask us about our stay and didn't even say " thank you for slaying with us ". Just handed my credit card back to me. Nice shower shame that it was slower than a dripping tap so we couldn't enjoy it

Great Place to Stay

My first visit to La Suite and I was not really sure what I was going to find. I checked in at reception and I was then taken a little further down the street to the building my room was in. A crisp and clean entrance way with slightly quirky but modern approach to the layout I was taken up to my room on the second floor (lift also available)
The room was clean, well appointed, loads of different electric sockets types, good TV, wireless and playstation. A mini bar and microwave.
I would certainly stay again.

Stylish, well designed and ingenious use of space. We stayed in 211 at the rear of the building and it was quite day and night. It is a very impressive building and very well located for Marylebine High Street and its many shops, restaurants and pubs. Oxford Street 15 min walk or go to Baker Street or Marylebone Station or pick up a bus. We will come again - for the right price.

This is the sort of room where you get a microwave, sink, fridge to be able to sort your own meals (in a limited way) which was great. The room was very clean, no traffic noise, free wi-fi or use of a free computer. Breakfast is continental, served to your room - it came on time as was good.
Unfortunately they put the price up at weekends or I would be tempted to stay over. Have already booked again and recommended to colleagues.

Perfect place to stay. Staff amazing and patient with our needs. Bliss - just wish we could have stayed more than one night. Paying extra to have more than just room i.e. exec room well worth it. Real "feel good" factor, very relaxing, quality exudes from every aspect of stay. We'll be back, I hope. Proper soft feather pillows unique - so few places have them now. La Suite Hotel, not quite as good as you would think.

My expectations were higher than the reality. They also seem to think they are a better hotel than they are. The rooms are a little tired and could do with a little freshening up to say the least. The hotel is in at least two parts, I was staying in the part half way down the street. No food is available in the evening and I ended up wandering around Marylebone trying to find food.... Plus it was raining! Finally the fridge wasn't working so the food and drink I bought could not be kept cold. They did try to help but couldn't and no mention or apology was made the following day. I would not stay here again.

The rooms were very well equipped with all the update modern technology - 40inch flat screen TV, Ipod dock, DVD player, CD player, air conditioning/heater. The bedroom and bathroom were both extremely clean and had a shower/bath Jacuzzi. The location is absolutely fantastic, Madam Tussards is right opposite the street and a 5 min walk from the tube. The hotel is just tucked away from the main road so you are away from the noise and able to have a good night sleep. I would love to stay again with La Suite and am planning too very soon :)

Amazing hotel, great location. Perfect resting place

I booked this hotel at the last minute, having to stay in town for an extra couple of nights. I couldn't believe how discounted it was against it's 'normal' price and was expecting there to be something wrong with it. I couldn't have been further from the truth!
Great stay, great location. The Hotel was fab, the only downside was the room is next to the lift so I could hear people talking and the wifi didn't work. But to be honest, I was quite glad of that!

La Suite Hotel was first class. We booked on line at a very reasonable price. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Kitchenette small but perfectly formed, and all very clean. Bathroom was fab with fun multi jet shower. Our stay at La Suite Executive Hotel

Initial appearance from outside was typical building style for that area of London. Upon entering reception area a more modern appearance greets you, staff very helpful, friendly, a lounge area with free coffee and tea is available along with reading material. We arrived early and planned to visit Madam Tussauds 5 minute walk away, as bags were heavy we could leave them at reception, tags were placed on handles and luggage safely transferred to our room. Later arriving to book in, it was a quick process and we (wife, teenage son & daughter) were escorted by a pretty receptionist to their second building over the road. Once again not much to look at outside, but upon entering we were astounded by the light, airy, modern hallways and excellent duplex rooms. The room was very good, clean functional, good facilities, tv in lounge area, and another upstairs in separate double bedroom area, on floor between lounge and bedroom their was a modern shower room and toilet plus clothing storage area on the landing. Room service was efficient, we borrowed some Playstation 3 games from reception and an extra controller free of charge. Breakfast was included in our tariff, this was continental and was very good. All in all, we would recommend this hotel and would stay again.

We were a group of 4 girls and found that this apartment was excellent value for money.

The only problem we had was that there was no Air Conditioning and unfortunately it was one of the hottest days of the summer so far so was a little clostophobic in the morning. Also the blinds lifted automatically in the morning and the main bedroom was on street level. We laughed about it but could have been very embarrasing.

Only gripe was no curtains in the rooms, only blinds, which were not blackout so when the sun came up the room was lit up like a christmas tree, so no chance of a lie in.

Interesting - My room was below ground and only just large enough for the bed

Turns out that is is two places in one - the La Suite and the Annex. I was in the annex, as the front, below ground. The room was only just large enough for the Bed, and the Shower needed the sliding door as a swinging door would never have opened.
Having said the above, the room was clean, the bed comfortable and the shower had lots of hot water (once the limescale was rubbed off)
Will I go back? Probably not. The worst ever, not by a long way!
