Slap bang in the middle of one London’s wealthiest areas is The Knightsbridge Green Hotel. A little gem of a property nestling between Hyde Park and you guessed it, Harrods. Each of the 30 ensuite rooms and suites have a fresh and bright ambience with clean lines of contemporary minimalism without forgetting the luxury and comfort. If the thought of staying here and living it large in such salubrious surroundings might be punishing on the bank account, then you‘re in for a treat. Rooms are air-conditioned, free Wi-Fi, power showers and plush toiletries, wooden blinds rather than drapes give it a modern colonnial feel.
Whilst no restaurant or bar, Continental Breakfast can be ordered and served in your room between 7:00am and 10:00am with a selection of pastries, fruit, preserves, juices and tea/coffee. Drinks can be brought to your room between 11am and 8pm. The choice of restaurant and bars on your doorstep is the natural alternative.
Major stores on Knightsbridge, Sloane Street and Brompton Cross are a credit cards throw away. The list of places to see is overwhelming. Our favourites are Aspley House (Former home to Duke of Wellington), Diana's Memorial and the Brompton Oratory
Tube into Knightsbridge on the Piccadilly Line and exit on the Sloane Street side or the hotel can arrange local NCP parking for around £28 per 24 hours, reasonable for Knightsbridge.
