Not bad for the price and staff is very nice except the manager. He was not happy that we wanted to leave our bag after checking out and we just had a little one.. Also they forgot to put soap in our room and I needed to ask for it twice before we got it.

Summary
I was told on arrival there were no double rooms & they were going to move me to another part of London. I think this was well versed as they thought I was traveling alone. Eventually I was given 2 singles but my friend did not want to stay. I have never stayed in a room so small. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Ps there were ants in the reception of the 1st building too, happily not in my building. After research I think this has happened to many other guests. So its a con.
Summary
We paid #170 for 2 nights for a double room which we felt was very good value for money for London. Hotel is a few minutes walk from Earls Crt tube st, and there are a few pubs, takeaways, shops etc but is down a quiet street. we\had a room at the front of the hotel which was very quiet. The room although small which is standard for London was well equiped and clean and comfortable. Staff were very accommodating, polite and helpful - no complaints. we'd certainly stay here again.
Summary
Our room had a double bed, as requested, however to get around the bed you had to turn sideways and then shuffle along the end. The rooms were absolutely tiny, and while they were fine for us because we were using the hotel as a base for a short weekend break, to spend any longer there would not have been enjoyable.
The shower plug was blocked so when you had a showe you had to stop the water two or three times to let the water drain away before you could continue with your shower, had we not done this the shower tray would have overflowed.
Tv system also was awful, no menu and didn't receive normal channels, hotel staff informed us that this was just the way the system was so we would assume that this was the case in all of the rooms.
Generally the accomodation was clean and tidy and they really had made the most of a very small room, but we wouldn't stay there again.
I cannot rate this hotel as I did not stay here. When I arrived I was told there were maintenance issues and was taxied to a sister hotel in Paddington which was disappointing as I had specifically chosen this hotel due to its location. The room in the sister hotel was well decorated, and the bed was comfortable, but the layout was bizarre, with the bed effectively partitioning the room, meaning that I had to climb over the bed to reach the desk and wardrobe.
Summary
We did not get to stay at this hotel as we were bumped to another, less convenient hotel in Paddington. We had no notice of this, which may well say more about LateRooms than it does about this hotel.
Summary
Reception workers were pleasant and helpful. We found an old sock in our room when we arrived, so much for the cleaners. The room was so small that you could not go round the front of the bed, it said there was a writing desk in the room but I couldn’t find it and there was no room for a chair any way. Surely there are basic regulations about room sizes I wouldn’t keep animals in this space it is a basic right to be able to stretch out.
Summary
My girlfriend and I chose this hotel because of the convenience of us being close to Stamford Bridge as we were going to watch Chelsea play that night.
After realising that there was no parking and my only options were NCP (£39 per night) or at the side of the street (£3 per hour) I queried about cancelling and going somewhere with safer parking.
However, the receptionist was extremely rude, and told me of a cancellation charge (even though I hadn't stepped inside the room at this point)
I felt they were quick enough to take my money, but were reluctant to help afterward.
The room was clean but there were faults. If you went in the shower, the water would hit you and splash on the floor, so I spent 20 mins wiping the floor. I also would like to mention the room temperature, there was no medium...it was either boiling or freezing.
The whole experience was terrible, I'd never stay here again.
Ps. The TV didn't work properly. Thank God Chelsea Won That Night!!
Staff very helpful, but accommodation not what was expected. The room was described as superior deluxe, but was far from that. Room was very small situaterd next to the tube line. Horrible smell around the room also. Found the inclusion of an iron and ironing board great, but not much room to use it. All in all, not the best hotel I've stayed in on visits to London.
Summary
Cosy and clean room. It was a little snug but perfect for us. Boiler a little noisy for light sleepers. Good location being very close to the tube station.
Summary
Room clean and comfortable but very small. It would have been nice to have bath instead of shower. Good value for money and would stay again.
Summary
It took them almost 1/2 an hour to check me in as the room wasn't ready despite arriving when I said I would. I had already told them I had to get to a meeting, but reception was very badly run and disorganised with staff who didn't seem to know the procedures. However they offered me a free breakfast voucher worth about £10 as compensation. The hotel was far too hot and a light was out of order in the room, and the room really was tiny but as it was so well priced and only for one night it didn't bother me too much. The room is apparently £190 a night normally (although I paid £50) which is laughable, as I regularly stay at Hilton for less with a much bigger room) . The staff were pleasant and so I can't fault them for that but they really need to get organised and then it would be a good budget city centre hotel despite it's cramped atmosphere. It's located about a two minutes walk from Earls Court tube station which is great for anyone attending trade shows at either Earl's Court or Olympia and is better than previous Earls Court hotels I've stayed in. I'd stay here again for it's good location but I'd never pay more that £50-£60 per night as it really isn't worth it and then it would only be for one night.
Summary
Room very small indeed, not even able to walk around the bed, not the impression given from the photographs. Smoke alarms not connected and bare wires clearly visible. There was so much noise from water heaters in the first room that we asked to move. Staff were helpful in providing a different room, which was slightly better but still very small. Received two early morning calls which were not requested.
Summary
Room was tiny and there was no control for the heating the room was too hot to sleep in!
Summary
Compact single room. If you stay here try to book front of Hotel(or use ear plugs) as back is very noisy
and right next to tube line. Also a curtain was missing which let in light in the morning-just
what I needed after partying till late. Could not get tv working properly but wasn't in for long so didn't really mind. Overall was very good value and well located, very close to earls court tube. Friendly staff. Would go back.
After reading some of the other reviews we didn't expect much but rang the hotel for a quiet room. For £50 the location was brilliant as it is opposite Earls Court station which made it easily accessible to central London. For us one night was fine there, but be aware the rooms are miniscule and barely could fit the double bed in. There is no table or chair and the lights didn't work plus the bed sheet had not been changed, but luckily we bought a spare after reading about bed bugs! The staff were unwelcoming with poor knowledge of the area and the girl we asked at reception looked shocked we even asked a question about the nightlife by responding 'I don't know.' Not very helpful. I think we were quite lucky to have even got a quiet room as about five different groups staying at the hotel were gathering at reception to complain, later to be relocated!! We got what we paid for, so if service, cleanliness and room size are a must I wouldn't recommend this hotel. As a student I can't really be fussy, but I'm sure hard earners would rather pay a little more to stay somewhere decent.
Summary
Was shown to our room at 8pm. Went to complain about excessive heat in room at 8:30, the radiator being jammed on even with the dial set to cold. Was told it would go off automatically 'in half hour'. Went out, came back at 10pm to even hotter room, like a sauna bath, complained, different 2 people on reception said they would guarantee it would be 'off in 10 minutes, as it's linked to the main system'. I was going back and forth to reception constantly, speaking to different people until at around 11pm, with radiator still full on, I asked to be moved to another room, to at first be told there wasn't a spare room, then they eventually did find one, which was just the opposite, stone cold!!
We put our coats on to keep warm then.
At 1:30am there seemed to be a party in the next room which went on for about an hour, despite our banging on their door.
I had to be up at 6:30 the next morning, so this was incredibly frustrating and this experience ruined my next day due too total tiredness.
Absolutely hate when you arrive and you are made to pay the total bill upfront before you have even seen your room. I was shown down an extremly narrow corridor to my room. On entry I found that the room had infact not been cleaned. I was given another room without any problem.
My main complaint about the room was the size of the bathroom. It was tiny and I found it impossible to manoeuvre.
I would say this hotel offered a good price but the room i was in was in the basement and quite cramped...... it has the tube travelling over it so can be a little noisy and the bathroom was very small with the sink right up tight to the toilet making it unusually entertaining for a 6'2" man! i would say all the other rooms would probably have been fine for me, as my expectations are not unrealistic at £50 for the night!!
Summary
This place is terrible, please avoid at all costs. We were lucky to only stay here for one night.. the room was the size of a coffin barely bigger than the bed. It was too hot, despite being December the heating was cranked up the window did not open!! We were made to pay for a poor breakfast twice, and the room smelt of sewage as did the toilet! Tiny shower, no soap in the hand soap dispenser and no water to drink completed our stay in the coffin. Enjoy!!!
Summary
Lovey hotel, close to the tube station and very good value for money, there is also nice restaurants and local pubs walking distance from the hotel.
The room is probably one of the smaller rooms I've ever stayed in, but it was very nicely docorated, clean and contained everything we needed... we both slept very well and that's all i really want from this kind of hotel.
Good location, good price and a good nights sleep.. what more can you ask for?
Room was directly above four overground tube lines. The noise of the trains made sleeping impossible before 12.00pm and after 4.00am. Incredible anyone would think this a suitable position for an hotel. An error with the booking process meant I had been expected the night before I arrived, luckily they were able to find me a room but the same could not be said for the next couple to arrive who had to find another hotel. The restaurant is not operational so no breakfast. Extraordinary
Summary
If a Superior Single Room is the smallish room in the hotel then this is correct, also the hotel is on the tube line and the windows aren't double glazed so don't expect any sleep
Summary
Paid only £60 for it but it was a clean, well-decorated room with a good shower and comfy bed. Only problem was the room was tiny, in the basement and very noisy due to the tube! I was moved to a better room the next day, which was fine for the prce. Staff were nice.
Summary
The room was the smallest i've ever slept in and the trains screaming past the window would have woken even the deepest sleeper. They tried to increase the charge when i arrived - suggesting that the rate (for two nights) was a per-night rate. I had to forward them the email from my phone to convince them otherwise. Not impressed...
Summary
My room was very noisy due to the adjacent train track. This would not affect all rooms. Maybe this is why the room was relatively cheap. The television would not work initially, was fiddled with by staff and then did work but with only 3 channels and not a good picture.
Summary
Great location and a bargain at £65
Summary
Loads of places to eat nearby Hotel is clean and comfortable
Summary
The address was perfect for us to do business. My 'no' to stay again, would be yes if I knew that the room would be improved. It was disappointing to find that the bathroom fan didn't work. The towels were clean each morning but hard. The carpet should really have been hoovered each morning after the bed was made. We had to request clean glasses by the 3rd day.
The bed head pad is dislodged on one side. These are all relatively easy matters to put right.
We hope you will and then we can possibly stay there again.
The single room was very spacious with excellent facilities and fittings. However, it was near the overground railway and extremely noisy especially as night/early morning.
Summary
TV could not get a proper picture, stains on head board, chair was broken, shower tray did not drain of water. Positives where bed comfy, room warm and fairly quiet excellent location.
Summary
Good standard of decorations.
Breakfast served across the street was good.
WLAN only available in hotel reception, good signal-but no IP addresses = did not work;
High speed internet access in bedroom (306), Ethernet RJ45 socket dead = did not work.
Modem access, telephone socket damage = did not work.
Only internet access is from a very slow PC in reception that blocked access to some site
Room single, bed king size = very cramped could not walk round the bed.
The light dimmer switches were old and the lights that worked flickered; incredibly annoying especially when trying to read.
The ceiling light by the door did not work making the room very dim If I stayed again I would take a torch as it was difficult to see into the wardrobes.
The reception take your money as soon as you walk through the door and before you have seen the room; perhaps guest have left half way through their stay.
I stayed from Monday to Friday morning and although I brought all of the issues above to the attention of the reception staff nothing was done
I think this hotel is being oversold. It does not meet its description.
Clever compact, but modern and a high standard of tasteful furnishings. plush details and great big huge flatscreen. sincere polite friendly efficient staff, -even the cleaner was really nice & 'quiet'. beautiful street, location was really perfect & easy to drop down to old brompton rd & chelsea's fantastic bars and restaurants. to be honest with you this is probably one of the best hotels ive stayed in in london. loved it. so refreshing from the rest. & at 65£ a no brainer. no lies no tricks from them, just a great little place.
Summary
I got a flat screen TV in my room but no sky :( good room though.
Summary
On a London weekend reuniom with 3 other friends. The first two nights we had accomodation in the same hotel but not possible for the third night and I had to find an alternative hotel near theirs.
I was very happy with my superior room at Kensington Town House. It was quiet, clean and well appointed.
Hotel ideally located for tube into the city, approx 100 mtrs from Earls court station.
Rooms small but clean and tidy. Ideal for short stays. friendly staff, good service, no complaints and would use again.
I was put in the basement of the hotel, and every time the tube went by the room shook. My colleague had an issue with the air-conditioning unit making noises and didn't get any sleep.
I wouldn't recommend
The promised double glazing did not exist in the room I occupied. The room itself was tiny and the air conditioning was incapable of maintaining a comfortable temperature on a warm autumn day
