We stayed in a refurbished room on the 6th floor. The room was quite a good size, smartly decorated and had a little corner sofa in which was nice. The bathroom was big, shower powerful, nice toiletries provided. The gym and pool area are very nice. Responses to requests for housekeeping items were met promptly and the staff were very polite though unfortunately couldn't fully accommodate our request for a late check out. My only issue with the hotel is that the prices they charge for food and drink are absolutely extortionate - I know prices in hotels are usually a little more than the norm but this goes way beyond normal smart hotel prices.
