first night great second night ws awoken at 10.30 with the sound of thud thud thud rung mangagement and was told someone would investigate and call me back 30 mins later they did was told fuction was on and I explained I had an early morning meeting and was thn asked would i like to move from third floor to ninth floor at 11.10 PM told manger not happy and told me he will ask them to lower the music (they didn't) When spoke to manger next morning after being very tired he offered me an upgrade next time (whoopie doo) I would not reccomend this hotel to any business traveller if the want a guaranteed good night sleep unless your ning ahead to check whether you are on the third o rfourth floor and they don't have a function. Totally shocked at mangers apparent could care less attitude.

The Carlton Tower is situated in the heart of Knightsbridge, surrounded by an abundance of quality shopping and fantastic restauants. The premium you pay is worthwhile due to its location and quality of service.
The rooms are very small, but are spotless and well finished. Don't rely on the mini bar unless you have good mortgage facilities!!!
The staff are very switched on and very well trained to give outstanding service, which makes it all well worth a stay.
David Wetton, Cubley, Derbyshire

excellent standard of hotel and it seems very well run, quality of the fittings in the room was superb, brilliant enormous bed, bose CD/radio, incredible shower and everything worked beautifully which unfortunately you can't say about all 5 star hotels in London. Very nice helpful staff also.

The room we got was rather small with an ugly view so we upgraded at a cost - but it was worth it. Up on the 17th floor with a balcony and amazing view of London (and Harrods) and a great sunset too.... I would say get a suite if you can afford to! Hotel is in an excellent location for couples on shopping/romantic weekend break. The Gym & Pool facilities are EXCELLENT - families would also love it here and Hyde Park is also very close. We took some snacks and drinks with us and popped down to Harvey Nicks for Sushi then cocktails - so we didn't eat much there but for the full English breakfast that my husband had and he loved it. Not cheap though! I was amused to find we were charged for the Sunday Paper... that is not very 5* to me...?

We booked rooms for myself and my girlfriend...
We booked 2 rooms for myself and my girlfriend and also a couple of pals, when we checked in we requested a high floor with good views of our city, this was no problem, nor was the late check out of 3pm!!!!!!!! free of charge.
Our room was on the 16th floor and overlooked the gardens, we could see for miles and miles as it was a sunny clear day, perfect for sipping our pink champagne on the balcony.
We went to dinner at Quaglinos where we met a further 10 of our friends for a wonderful meal before returning back to our hotel and having a quick drink in the champagne bar, very expensive, but you must expect high prices in this hotel class.
In the morning we opted for a swim at the pool on the 2nd floor and were greeted by wonderful staff offering liquid refreshment (water with cucumber and mint...wow, hit the spot) and after out swim we sat in the large jacuzzi followed by a few minutes in the steam room, after a leisurely stroll around the area and a spot of breakfast at the knightsbridge cafe we still had ages before we had to depart our rooms so we had a couple of cheeky guinesses at the local pub.
Recommended to all, rich or otherwise, if you can afford it, do it, even if its just to laugh at all the snooty miniture dog in handbag brigade spending their husbands money on laughable handbags and comedy jewellery.
All in all, this stay was the business, we all had a great time and if this hotel is offered at the same rates next time we are up from Kent then we will be staying

Exceptionally good staff, excellent location. Room quite small for a five star but common in London. Food very good. Drinks quite expensive. Would certainly recommend it.

I couldn't really fault this hotel. Everything worked smoothly and the staff were helpful. I only paid for and used a room so I cannot comment on other facilities such as the restaurant service

We enjoyed a great new year weekend at the hotel. The room was nice, the staff friendly and accomodating. We appreciated a complimentary bottle of champagne on arrival with the package and then a half bottle to wish us a happy new year !!
The only thing missing were tea and coffee making facilities which would have been handy first thing in the morning.
