Like most central London hotels this is overpriced and shabby; it would not survive in other European capitals. The rooms are tiny and incredibly noisy because there is no soundproofing. The staff are courteous but most are foreign, speak little English and are obviously not trained. The hotel caters for budget package tourists, which means it is very busy and basic. In summary, avoid, unless you get a great deal or are desperate.

Although the room was of a good quality we were woken by the noise of chairs and tables being moved at 6am on Sunday morning as the room was directly above the dining area. The noise continued for three hours so we were unable to sleep. The noise was continuous and very upsetting given the fact we wanted to relax before a long journey home. This spoilt the weekend and would make us think carefully before chosing IBIS again. We also asked for a DOUBLE bed room and were given twin singles in a suite. Very nice but not what we asked for.

Stayed in the ibis earls ct on 28/2/10 found location very good. Hotel however looked shabby from the outside. The room was very clean but extremely small. Also woke up cold as duvet was a quilt cover with a blanket inside. For the £110 i paid i did expect a bigger room and a warmer bed!!!

We stayed 2 days in this hotel our room was ready at 10am. We were very pleased with the accommodation which was very clean. There was plenty of choice of meals which were lovely and inexpensive. We left our car in their underground car park which was safe. The staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We recommed this hotel and will go back again when we are in London. If you complain about anything and it is not put right within ? hours you do not pay!

Great location for a traveller to access the Earls Court Exhibition Halls (next door), tube (metro access) close, and some restaurants within a 10 minute walk. Shops near to the hotel are not too nice, and the immediate area is nothing special – I would use this hotel as a business short stay only.

I stayed at the Ibis with my sister for one overnight when we were in London to go to a Chelsea football match. We found the hotel really nice (room only, no breakfast) - the room was standard size with twin single beds, very clean and good facilities considering the good price we paid. The location was great for us - a 10 - 15 min walk to Stamford Bridge and also really close to underground stations if you wanted to travel around other parts of London. Earls Court arena is just a few minutes walk away too. We had no complaints at all and would definitely stay again.

This is a lovly hotel but the services provided by their staff left the Ibis Hotel Group down badly.I speak mainly of the restaurant and bar staff, where the right hand didnot know or care what the left hand was doing .Rudeness and inefficiency I have never come across before anywhere.

The hotel looks good from outside and reception. Staff friendly and helpful. However, once taking the lift up to the room, signs of poor maintenance and a little shabby hallways. Room was clean but very basic and small. Definently not worth £95 - no room service. Ordered a Pannini at 11.45pm and had to go to reception to collect it. Overall, good 3* accommodation if you need somewhere to stay. Plus points - very close to tube station less than 2 minutes. Welcoming and clean bedding. For the area it is located in, the hotel management could make more effort to making stay value for money. i.e 2 very small towels and a minature bar of soap, very cheap and abrasive toilet roll. Little things that annoy when you have paid double the rate you could have for same accomodation locally. Dissapointed but would consider again as a last choice due to business necessity and the locality.

Just returned from Ibis Earls Court November '...
Just returned from Ibis, Earls Court (November '09) after attending the MPH Top Gear Motor Show at Earls Court. Having booked a double room online well in advance via Late Rooms, I also phoned the hotel weeks in advance to confirm the booking and a smoking room. HOWEVER upon arrival I was told that had NOT reserved this for us, despite my phone call and they only had a twin room available on the smoking floor. We were VERY unhappy with this as this was supposed to be a romantic break for us. I requested a discount because of their error and immediately received 10 % off. On entering the room though, we were greated with the most spectacular view right across London and the skyline along the Thames. (Room 1226) Really pleased with that and the single beds were quite fun anyway! This hotel is ideal for Earls Court and West Brompton tube station which are both literally just a couple of minutes walk away. We were very pleased also to get a parking space in the underground secure car park even though we arrived on a Saturday afternoon (cost £14 per 24 hours for hotel residents). Beds were very comfortable and bathroom small but clean. We had breakfast in the 1st floor restaurant at a quite pricy £7.95 per person (we felt very awkward as the man taking our payment continued to reprimand a member of staff as we paid.) We also visited the George and Dragon pub which is also on the 1st floor on the Sunday. We were looking forward to a Sunday lunch which the menu stated was served EVERY Sunday only to find that they had a limited menu because of a function downstairs which was really disappointing. Regular guests obviously don't come first if there is a function to cook for. After ordering alternative food we found our portions were so small that we actually ordered extra food as we were still hungry. A loud Kerrang music channel was playing which was then changed to football. A good point though is that meals are served until midnight and breakfasts are served from 4am until midday in the restaurant. The hotel is on a main road so it is noisy outside, even up on the 12th floor but the windows did cut this out if you don't mind having no fresh air.Overall I would stay here again but would advise phoning more than once to confirm the room type you require.

This is without doubt the worst hotel I have stayed in for a long while. We stay at a different hotel every week and this ranks highly with the worst of them. The service and attention to detail is non-existent. The rooms are microscopic, they do not supply shampoo, conditioner, hand & body lotion or even a box of tissuses. All but one of the staff were foreign and we presume cheap labour who couldn't care less as long as they got rid off you if you made a comment or complaint. We would recommend that if you like a good nights sleep and good service that you find somewhere else to stay.

Good hotel, easy to get at from west. Avoids congestion charging. Good underground parking.Everything I needed for a one night stop. Only observation is that by the time you add price + parking + breakfast for 2 you come to £130 is rather than the 95 I booked at. So be prepared take plenty of money.

Excellent staff service - wanted an envelope on arrival before checking in - instant provision. Able to check in much earlier, extra towels brought to our room instantly. Bed very comfortable, linen crisp white lovely! Didn't eat in hotel - no need surrounded by restaurants recommend North End Road out of hotel turn left. Excellent Breakfast cafe on the left and Italian restaurant opposite side of road nearer to cross roads. Tube close easy into all areas - ideal walk to Stamford Bridge no need for tube! Car park £14 for 24 hours underneath hotel so easy internal access. Would stay again if driving to London rather than by train - outside congestion zone too!

We found the hotel to be really clean. Our room was on the 5th floor and had a great view of Earls Court. The bus stop was right outside the door with buses running every 10 minutes into the city centre. It was only a short walk to Stamford Bridge and we'd definately stay there again.

We were looking for a hotel that would just provide us with a bed for the night. We travelled to London along the M4 and this hotel is within easy access. One plus point for the hotel is that it has parking for £14 / day which is ok for London. It is also just outside the congestion zone and only two minutes walk from Earls Court Arena 2. The rooms are very basic but clean. The bed was comfortable and we both got a good nights sleep. We cannot comment on the food because we did not use their restaurant. The nearest tube station is West Brompton which is only 10 minutes walk up the road from the hotel. So if you looking for just a bed and no luxury then this is the place for you.
