The stay was exactly what we would of expected with the price of the hotel maybe a little better until we decided to attend the restaurant for breakfast, at this point the hotel let us down as we felt that it was the worst breakfast we have had not only in a hotel but in any establishment and when we paid £35 pound for four people to find warm milk for cereal and well the rest of the items on offer were ofpoor quality and not much choice from the orange juice to the scrambled egg, so much so we then walked to a cafe down the road to buy a better breakfast at half the price.
To make matters worst when my colleague tried to complain he was told at check out to return at 3pm to complain because there was no duty manager on. When check out is before midday and most complaints would be received at checkout to have nobody to deal with those complains is laughable. We returned to pick up some bags after a long day at a conference and my colleague complained only to be offered a drink in the bar (to which we declined because we had to catch a train) we were made to feel that we were looking for refund, we do not know what action should have been taken, we would rather of had the breakfast that we were expecting and a breakfast fitting with the rest of the stay.

This is a type of skyscraper hotel, lots of floors and rooms. By car easily accessible from the M4, get off at Hammersmith Flyover. It is outside the congestion zone, parking in the basement available (extra charge acceptable). Quick check in, staff professional at reception. In walking distance to the underground station, within the central zone. My room was basic, acceptable and clean, some good view over the town. The price is possibly higher than outside of London, but not as high as in the immediate centre.

Maybe I just don't understand how much things cost nowadays and while I can't criticise the hotel for any lapse in service, I really do feel that this quality of accomodation only merits 43 a night not the 83 we had to pay.

On checking out, the hotel tried to charge the full price of 85 for the room, not the discounted 72 rate.
I was only aware that there was possibly going to be an issue with the price as I'd seen the 85 on the debit card machine on checking in, when I had to provide an authorisation card, to be able to pay when we left.
The receptionist then had to search through a large file to locate the pre-booked rate of 72.
It appears that it would be very easy for them to charge the full rate, unless people ask for a breakdown of the charges first.

When you go up to reception and say...
When you go up to reception and say "I have a twin room booked for tonight" you do not expect to get to your room to find it is a double. On returning to reception this was sorted pretty quickly but the disabled room we were allocated (which would have been outstanding if we were disabled) left us with the bathroom awash after showering the following morning. As I was travelling with my daughter (grown up) dressing in the bathroom was a necessity. Very difficult with water up to my knees.
The bar was a joke, on returning to the hotel around 11pm, a 25 minute wait to get a drink is completely unacceptable. 30 minutes later, the same wait.

I turned up at the hotel, after confirming my resevation day before arrival at 10pm, was told there are no rooms, was shuttled to another hotel a few miles away, where we were made to feel unwelcome. the whole process took about 90 minutes. the room I stayed there was warm, could not sleep, and hence went for my exam next day in a daze,a s could manage only 3hrs of sleep.

Ok but not great. This hotel is owned by a French chain and is dominated by overseas tourists and large conferences. Everything is basically OK without being great. I'd probably go again if I was at a conference there and needed the convenience, but don't pay more than about 75 - it isn't worth it.

Was slightly worried about staying in a low cost hotel in London but when we arrived we were quite suprised. The room was small but modern and clean with kettle to make tea/ coffee, even had hairdryer. The hotel was perfect position for Earls Court Ex Centre which was the reason for our stay, no need for taxis etc, you could see it from our hotel window. Did not pay for breakfast so can not comment on food but plenty of cafe bars nearby.

Thoroughly unpleasant stay, thank god it was only one night! Staff were rude, unhelpful and totally disinterested in providing any kind of customer service at all. We were joining a Trafalgar tour the next morning departing from the hotel and staff could not supply any information about the tour, a Trafalgar contact, breakfast time for those on the tour, or any other questions we had. I cannot understand why Trafalgar would use such a manky hotel. The room was pretty average, air conditioner barely worked, no shampoo in bathroom, all internet computers were out of service, food at breakfast was appalling and hugely overpriced, as was the price for the hotel in general. Everything about this hotel was sub-standard. I would not have believed it possible to have such a bad experience in only one night, but the Ibis London Earls Court managed to prove me wrong! Steer well clear!!

Hotel was a few hundred yards from the nearest underground, and a short walk from Chelsae football ground, where we were going to a match. Several cafes and restaurants close by. No complaints about the hotel at all. We arrived well before checking in time, but were able to book in straight away. Very good value and a pleasant, clean hotel. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.
