I walked into the cupboard thinking it was the shower and then realised there was a whole shower room the size of a bedroom adjoining!

I would be very happy to recommend the Megaro to anyone. The service was excellent and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very good quality and extra little touches such as free bottled water. The hotel, although quiet is very central for transport being situated opposite Kings Cross.
Summary
The staff were excellent and the food was great!
Summary
We enjoyed our stay, and the very good service.
Summary
Modern and colourful with a lot of in room facilities and milk in the fridge - I do love it when hotels give you fresh milk.
Bedroom could have done to be a little brighter - even with all lights on it was a bit dim
Would definitely stay there again if I can find a similar deal
Summary
Minutes from St pancras this accommodation is highly recommended have stayed her on 10 or more occasions now
Summary
Awesome hotel - the decor, the room, the facilities, the location. Attention to detail paid everywhere it seemed. We weren't wildly excited by the breakfast portion sizes (we thought there might be a bit more for our money), but the menu choices (breakfast & dinner) were great and the food was tasty, which is the main thing.
Summary
I felt very impressive with this hotel. it s very close to king's cross st pancas station. The room was perfect, clean
Summary
Very clean modern room opposite Kings Cross station just look for the multi coloured Barclays Bank building.
Free WIFI which is forward thinking, when will other UK hotels stop ripping people off up to £25 to use what should equate to having a "flushing toilet".
Excellent amenities: coffee machine, mini fridge & safe.
Staff extremely professional and courteous
Did not try the restaurant. Would defiantly stay here again Saturday night was £130 a little expensive but have stayed in inferior hotels that were more expensive, other nights rates much more competitive (Sunday £80).
The Megaro is very conveniently situated across the road from St Pancras/Kings Cross. It has funky modern interior design thoughout, from the brightly coloured exterior to the plush reception seating. We had an upgraded room on the top floor which was quiet, spacious and beautifully designed with good quality accessories/toiletries. and a huge comfortable bed. We did manage to work the splendid coffee machine (which others seem to have had difficulty with......just follow the instructions!). A glass sided bathroom may seem a little odd but the strategically placed frosted glass maintains one's dignity and is far preferable to a bathroom without natural light. The fabulous shower was a case of form over function as the head kept sliding down the rail and the jets went all over the place.......but that apart I was very impressed and would recommend it as a great place to stay.
Summary
A welcome surprise....great room, good size, very modern and amazing value with laterooms.com
Great staff and got a free upgrade - so very impressed. Will use again for sure.
Very good place to stay near to St Pancras (almost opposite). Requested a quite room down the side road which was modern and clean. Left too early for breakfast but looked good. Would stay here again.
Summary
We had a quiet and spacious room at the back of the building. It had every comfort and was a very good way to start a eurostar holiday
Summary
Megaro is one of my favourite stops when in London on business.
Only complaint I'd have is that I've stayed in several of their rooms, but have never managed to get the fancy coffee maker to work ever !! Maybe its just me !!
Stayed just the one night and everything was excellent. The staff at reception were excellent and the room surpassed my expectations and it was as per their website.
The bed was very comfortable went to sleep and woke up refreshed.
The finishing detail on the room was first class e.g. Oak plugs for the screws on the door frames and no joins on the seals in the bathroom.
I did not eat but was very tempted by the wood fired oven.
Finally the shower was superb.
Fantastic Deluxe rooms - are a must to stay in
Summary
Stayed one Saturday evening to meet my daughter from Guildford.Nice boutique style hotel.Quiet comfy really nice bathroom , comfy bed and expresso machine!. Good value on late rooms, really nice duty manager who stored our luggage and shopping until 18.00.
Summary
Staff were very helpful. Room was very well presented. Good Shower. Comfy Bed and watchable TV. Very pleased with our room. Would use again. Good value. A bit noisy at night But it is London.
Summary
Friendly staff, generous sized bed and room. Great shower room, nice hot water. Limitations, only one lift.
Summary
Well located hotel with excellent customer service and friendly staff. One of the comfiest beds I've slept in whilst in London. Would definitely book again
Summary
Great hotel, spacious room, friendly staff and superb location for early morning Eurostar trip to Paris!
Summary
Great quality and good value.
Summary
The Megaro was chosen due to its close proximity to St Pancras (and the great reviews) as we were catching early Eurostar train to Paris.
We were delighted with this room. It was large with a king size bed, had a dressing/ wardrobe area, a table with chairs and a very large bathroom. This hotel was great value for money. I would definitely book again. Only negative point was due to its proximity to King's Cross it was quite noisy with Police sirens, traffic, shouting etc...
Also there is a lovely easy walk along the canal to Camden Town which takes about 20-30 minutes (walk behind St Pancas Station up St Pancras road to the canal towpath on the left).
Great value and location. Very helpful staff
Summary
Very pleasantly surprised - good value for money 4* hotel in a great location.
Summary
Great views of St Pancras and Kings Cross stations, incredibly clean room and very comfortable. Friendly customer service, not cheap but would definitely recommend
Summary
Great staff nice Hotel . You would have to be really unlucky not to enjoy this one. Book the breakfast its beautifully presented for a tenner
Summary
Not sure if it was because of checking in late (almost 11pm) but I was upgraded to a premier room. Very spacious, great bed and bathroom too. Only stayed for one night and didn't have time to try out the breakie in morn. would certainly stay again.
Summary
Given the location (opposite Kings Cross) I didn't have high hopes of the hotel. However, I was really surprised. This really was one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at in the UK. Even though I was here for work, I felt like I was on holiday. Rooms very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. The restaurant and breakfast was amazing. Staff were lovely too.
Summary
We loved our stay here! The staff were laid back and yet attentive. Our room was comfortable and spacious (we were in a standard double). And the food was fantastic! We had dinner in the new restaurants and it was excellent. Really couldn't rate this hotel higher. Will be sure to stay here on our next trip to london!
Summary
Great location, amazing room, beautiful hotel with very helpful staff. Highly recommended
Summary
We had a room overlooking euston Road and Kings Cross station, which meant it was great for people watching but very noisy if you wanted to lie in.
The rooms are newly furnished and good internet telly. Good sleection of tea and coffee and free water but no biscuits :-(
The rainforest shower is ok but water goes all over the bathroom wooden floor which is already starting to rot. The pebbled floor in the shower had lots of loose sharp spiky grout which made the shower not a very relaxing experience.
Reception staff were friendly, efficient and helpful.
Great location as Kings cross is good for getting anywhere in London on the tube and most places were a single tube ride.
We arrived ahead of schedule, no problem, staff very helpfull & friendly, we had 2 rooms, small problem with both showers, water running everywhere, otherwise fine, espresso machine, nice touch, decent coffee too, but breakfast service was absolutely poor, and the "charge person" could not organise the infamous ............... in a brewery, we complained, and it all went well after that, the food was very good when it got to us, and they also gave us a discount, but I would have been happier to pay the full amount without having to complain.
Maybe better next time?
The stay was very enjoyable. The room was very nice, spacious and quiet particularly for the location of the hotel. Customer service was very good as well.
My only gripe is with the Hotel resturant. To be honest I thought it was a bit overpriced. I had an evening meal which cost 35 pounds which consisted of a main course, a sweet and a glass of beer. I was still a bit hungry afterwards though the food was nice. Breakfast was a little on the shambolic side with orders going to wrong tables etc. Again I thought mine was overpriced at 14 pounds for 2 eggs and a few rashers of thin bacon with a few pieces of very thin toast, a cup of coffee and juice.I would certainly stay at the Hotel again but as it stands probably not eat in the resturant? So value for money: excellent for the hotel - 6 Resturant value for money - 2 averages out at 4
Ive been staying here for the last 3 years...excellent location, and very friendly staff. Clear safe and comfortable...what more do you need
Summary
I would definitely come back to this hotel again- I received a warm welcome, was kindly upgraded to a super room- which was quiet and very comfortable.
The location is ideal for the trains+ tubes, and not 'dangerous' for someone 9female!) on their own at night which I was concerned about.
I will definitely book again, and will recommend to others. (and already have!)
Thank you!
I came down for a job interview so needed to be well rested! I wasn't disappointed-staff friendly & helpful & the room comfortable & quiet. Would definitely revisit!
