Hotel was not easy to find as it has a tiny entrance. Room very clean and comfortable but small. Less space devoted to cupboards and the big designer bathroom would have meant more living space. Ok for one night, would not have liked to stay longer. Very good for Eurostar as it is opposite St Pancras.

All in all avery positive experience. We will definitely use it again.

We needed somewhere near Kings Cross to sleep prior to an early start on Euro star. Right across the road, Well you can't get nearer than that. We got in at 8.00pm and were gone by 4.00am but this was without a doubt one of the best low cost hotels we have stayed in for years maybe ever. we did not eat there (but we could have) it smelt nice lol. I just hope it wont get to popular and they raise the prices. The internet on tv was a great help as we forgot our Train Ref number so could check it out on line and in private. This hotel has a great location being right opposite Kings Cross. Room was excellently layed out with plenty of space and great bathroom. However, my stay was ruined by the fact that there was some kind of industrial noise from above in the evening which made room vibrate resulting in no sleep and massive headache! I was in a top floor room so may not have been a problem for anyone else but it certainly was for me This is a great shame as otherwise a pleasant stay.

What a gem! So well located - more or less opposite Kings Cross St Pancras, and only minutes away from my meetings. I also thought the room price was ok for central London. Staff were lovely and exceptionally polite, the room and bathroom very clean, contemporary and modern, bed was comfy and above all it was peaceful. A couple of minor comments though that may be a big deal to others; the low power hairdryer isn't located near mirror - so it was difficult to manage, especially as I've long hair that takes ages to dry! Also food; quality was good, but way over the top at £22 for Room service - soup, toasted sandwich + glass of wine (and no handcut chips as described in the menu), room service breakfast £11.50 - 1egg scrambled with 1 small square of smoked salmon, 2 rounds of toast and NO butter. Will definitely stay again but eat elsewhere.

I required two rooms for one night close to the EuroStar service from London for myself and a French friend who had to catch an early morning train back to France. The hotel was within a two minute walk from the EuroStar station. Being in very close proximity to Kings Cross station one would assume the noise of the city would be intrusive but the rooms were quiet and no city noise heard. The rooms were both fantastic which is important when booking for a foreign friend. She got a great impression of our hotel standards. Booking on Late Rooms.Com saved me about £60 per room as they were booked 18 hours in advance. I will stay again at this hotel when next in London and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a clean, modern, high standard hotel. All in all, very good.

We arrived at the hotel straight from St Pancras station - just walked up the steps onto Euston Rd and the hotel was there! A great relief as we had several large heavy cases, and didnt need the usual expensive London cab to get us to our location. Deceiving frontage to the hotel - not much more than a doorway off the street, next to Burgerking, but a bit of a tardis once inside.Clean, modern room with great TV, espresso machine etc, but the mini bar only contained milk for the coffee, although the ground floor bar is open 24hrs, (but a bit inconvenient when you are on the 4th floor and your wife fancies a G+T whilst getting ready to go out!)When checking out at 11 we were also able to leave our bags to collect later when we got out train at 6pm - again a great extra as we were able to have a day in the City without baggage.Booked 7 days ahead and got the 2 nights for £225 rather than £235 per night, and we got an upgrade to a superior room without asking!

I stay at the Megaro every few months (when the price is right!) and it is always the same high standard. Rooms vary in size, but are always well-equipped. This time I had a very large room obviously designed for wheelchair users. The bed and sofa had been swapped around, meaning that the bed had no bedside lamps/tables, but it was otherwise very comfortable. The wifi works, I even managed to get the strange coffee machine to work this time. Large bathroom, though with no bath, even though plenty of room. It's very well-placed for St Pancras/King's Cross/Camden/Bloomsbury/Holborn.

The hotel and the room was very modern with all of the amenities you would expect from a new boutique hotel. The reception area has a very nice (although very empty) bar space and attentive staff and while I didn't eat in the restaurant it looked busy. The only downside was I had asked for a quiet room and ended up facing onto Euston road making for a poor night's sleep, even through the double glazing. I stayed because I was leaving on the first train out the next morning and the hotel can't be beaten for convenience although it was slightly annoying to find that breakfast wasn't served until 07:00. Not good for a station hotel. All said, I would recommend without hesitation on the condition that you demand a room at the rear of the hotel.

I discovered the Megaro hotel when I last came to London. Then, I paid £180 for a large double room with an equally large bathroom. This time I paid only £105 through laterooms.com for a slightly smaller room, which is the cost of the nearby Premier Travel Inn. Fortunately, the two don't compare. My stay was excellent. Surprisingly, the staff didn't seem too pleased to see me when I tried to check in 25 minutes earlier, but other than that they were fine. I'd certainly recommend the Megaro. At £105 and because of where it is located it is fantastic value for money. Two tips for future visitors though. 1. Close the bathroom door at night so that the detector in the room realises it is shut and switches off the extractor fan. 2. Once you've 'powered down' the TV/computer, press and hold the power button on the computer mounted behind the screen to turn it off altogether otherwise the computer's fan will keep you awake all night!

I was then informed that the hotel heating system was broke and it would be fixed soon. 1 hour later still not working, i went to reception to be told that there would be no heating that night at all. I had to ask them for a heater to be put in my room ( very small noisy electric heater) Why did they not offer me a heater originally? Why did they not tell me on checking in that there was to be no heating. They were still checking people in later that evening without informing customers of the problem Not at all proffesional. My stay at Hotel Megaro was excellent. I arrived very early but was accomodated as soon as a room was prepared which was much appreciated after 3 hours on a coach, plus travel to the hotel itself. Staff were actually friendly! Not my common experience in London hotels where one's arrival can seem to be an inconvenience. I don't want to complain about the room, since they did me a favour, but the very nice shower was not plumbed with sufficient soak-away to drain the water and I flooded the whole bathroom twice. My towels were mainly used for soaking up the excess which may explain why they weren't the highest quality! The internet access was unreliable, kept getting 'stuck' which would have been a problem if I was on business perhaps, but I wasn't and I didn't complain so it may have been easily resolved. None of this detracted from my enjoyment, the room does actually look like the one on the website (not one your gran decorated!), it was quiet, with range of entertainment options, coffee machine/ range of teas/fresh milk etc. Access excellent and secure. If you leave Kings Cross St Pancras tube, follow underground exit to Euston Road and St Pancras Library and you come out in front of the hotel. (They could mention that on the website) I felt safe walking around the area alone day and night because it is quite busy. I rate the quality of the hotel and service highly, but I did extend my budget to stay there. It was worth it but probably not affordable for me every trip.

However, inside the bar and bedroom layout is tastefully done. The rooms are very modern and and comfortable and the expresso machine was a spot on. Not so sure about the jet shower unit more of the water went on the floor. The location was also ideal for use of the underground service that takes you into London central without any changes. Paid £140 for the night which apparently is half price, I would not pay anymore and to be honest there are a few of the budget hotels nearby that would easily compete but may not offer a double room. I would recommend this hotel and use it again for access of St. Pancras or Kings Cross

I really recomend this hotel, massive room with great decor and location right in front of the metro station. Staff were friendly, even though they didnt let us check in till 2 PM but they let us leave our luggage and go walk around as we please. Breakfast was alrite but nothing fancy really.

I wish I'd found this little gem before! Conveniently located right across the road from Kings Cross/St Pancras, immaculately finished, and with great customer service. Loved it. Special kudos to Carol who provided such brilliant customer-focused decisions that went above and beyond the call of duty. : )

Smashing hotel located opposite Kingscross station in central London. Very modern, high quality and very comfortable. Only one issue - unplug the mini pc in your room as it's noisy at night. Otherwise great. Ate at the restaurant and had a pleasant meal. Highly recommended.

Whilst the hotel actually had nothing wrong with it and I'd stay there again I had a few criticisms. When we arrived the floor (solid wood - no rugs) was dusty. I informed reception as I was going out for the afternoon/evening. Returned later at night to see the floor looked exactly the same! There is a coffee machine in the room (a great idea!). It's just that it's in an unlit cupboard in a very dark corner of the room. This makes it very difficult to use even though there are clear instructions provided. The shower has horizontal jets that throw water out of the side of the bath that soaks the floor which is annoying. But the hotel is good value for money.

We used this hotel as a jumping off point for an early Eurostar journey and were bowled over by the quality. Located right across the street from St Pancras, the room was quiet and beautiful. The rainforest shower was heaven but don't used the side jets as they flood the bathroom. The HD television was amazing but now I want one at home!

Wouldn't have noticed the hotel had the cabbie not directed me. Smaller than expected bed, for a large room. Helpful staff, opened locked window, and adjusted air con. ( controls unhelpfully placed, with no instructions.) Comfortable, and the cab rank is directly across the road. Stupidly, I took bathers. Don't.

Had a one night stay here and loved it. We were upgraded to an even better room although we had booked a delux already, room was very spacious, modern and clean, the bathroom was gorgeous. Staff were very helpful and friendly, to be honest we cannot fault either the hotel or the staff and we would stay there again for sure.

Steps away from Kings Cross Tube this hotel is ideally situated for those wishing to travel around London. Room was very quiet you wouldn't think you were in the middle of London! Room was stylish and very clean although shower did leak onto the floor which was annoying. Although a very pleasant stay, did feel that the room cost plus breakfast did not offer great value for money.

I used guest reviews by other LateRooms customers to identify a hotel which is clean and has good service and I wasn’t disappointed – the hotel is excellent and the staff were friendly and helpfulThe rooms were modern and clean and the rainforest shower is superb.I wasn’t too interested in getting a review of the food before booking as you can always eat out, however, we had a light meal in the (small but interesting) bar and it was good quality and reasonably pricedIf you are visiting London by train and arriving at Kings Cross the location is perfect – it is literally two minutes walk (underground) to the entrance of the hotelPrices are normally ”highish” but with the LateRooms discount it was very reasonably priced, especially for the level of quality received. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Both my wife and I thought this hotel was excellent value for money. We only stayed one night as we were taking the eurostar to Paris the next morning, St Pancras station being just across the road from the Megaro made this hotel even better. The meal we had at the Megaro was was wonderful and the service was great. Well worth a visit

Having stayed at the Megaro before, it was nice to see that it was consistent in it's quality and friendliness. The location is perfect for an early morning train out of Kings Cross, or indeed a late train in! A convenient bus stop nearby takes you straight down to Oxford St and beyond, for the tourist attractions. Our room was comfortable, with a nice large bathroom, and offered everything you could want, including a fridge! Definitely one I would stay in for a third visit - and the staff are courteous, friendly and helpful. £120/night paying for the location than the size of the hotel / room.

Stayed one night for business. Check-in was quick and hassle-free, my room was spotlessly clean and larger than other hotel rooms I've stayed in at this price and the staff were more than helpful. In fact my only slight complaint was it would have been nice to have orange juice with the full English breakfast rather than having to pay for it separately. Only a minor point though and I would definitely use this hotel again.

Excellent location, efficient check in and friendly staff. Room was excellent - we had a standard double and although the room was very generous in size, a double bed is actually pretty small and a queen or king size bed would give this hotel an extra edge. But overall, a very, very good hotel - clean, friendly and remarkably quiet given the location (we did have a room at the back which will have helped). Would have no hesitation recommending.

Very nice hotel. Our room was very large and clean with a great shower! It is close to Euston Station and you couldn't get closer to St Pancras Station - It is opposite the main entrance! The staff were very friendly and helpful, looking on the internet to find the location of a pub we wanted to go to.We didn't have breakfast, as had an early train to catch, so can't review that.It was great valve for money as we booked it late and got a good deal.Overall very happy.
