Good room though small for the price Over-priced...
Good room, though small for the price. Over-priced food for evening meal and breakfast - wouldn't eat here again. Would stay for a late rooms price of 129 and eat on London St instead. V.friendly and helpful reception staff; restaurant staff were tired.

Quite a good new concept. But didnt feel like real value for money. The room was quite small really. But the bed was brilliant. Hot water was tepid on sunday morning which isnt really good enough when you are paying 189 a night.

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Indigo just for 1 night and wished we could have had longer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and could not find fault with anything.

Very high sepcificiation of fit-out but unbelievably small. Expensive. Ran out of hot water (this has not happened to me since my back-packing days). Had room serviceas an option but would have been physically impossible to accomodate in the room.<br />Great location. Friendly staff.

The first time I stayed my husband and...
The first time I stayed, my husband and I were in a really lovely room with a little patio, very well refurbished and a good size for London! The second time on my own, the room was a single, but again very well refurbished. The bathrooms are very well equiped, great big and fluffy towels! The inability to have the window open in the single room would be the only criticism, as you can hear very loudly the heating/air conditioning unit outside.

Great designer style room convieniently located near Paddington...
Great designer style room convieniently located near Paddington Station in London. Only downside was size of bedroom - don't bother to bring the cat!

the first room was in the basement with a locked door as the only ventilation - not sure if this is safe in case of fire!<br />Food ordered for breakfast and service was very very slow and food was wrong when it turned up<br />Front desk was very helpful and efficient<br />Hotel was in a great location and looked nice from outside - room was very small

A new and contemporary hotel that was extremely clean and comfortable. Located approx 250m from Paddington Tube Station, the hotel was well served by train and also some London Tour Buses.<br />Rooms were very well-serviced and clean. Attention to detail was impressive, with beds turned down and complimentary mints left on the pillows each night. Room facilities included internet, LCD TV, Refreshments, hairdryer, radio with IPOD docking station, safe, fridge etc.<br />The efficiency of the service in the bar/restaurant was excellent and backed up with friendly, helpful staff. The quality of the food was good, particularly the selection of fresh cakes and pastries.<br />Overall: 9/10 - would definitely come back.

Great laied back atmosphere. Really friendly staff. Really nice food. WIth a great selection of homemade cakes and pastries.<br />Nice clean room. Lovely view. Added plus of having an Ipod dock. Massive walk in shower. Very nice.<br />Was a real treat and i would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a nice relaxing place to stay in the city.<br />(the scent of apple strudel around reception is amazing)!

I travel a lot both on business and for pleasure. I stay in a lot of hotels. I am an Evertonian and went to the semi final of the FA Cup at Wembley on 19th April 2009 (great day - we won on pens). Found it hard to get a reasonable hotel at a sensible price. Booked into this hotel expecting not much and got a great surprise. Funky, cool, very modern hotel. Not in a great location (bit noisy) but once in the room it was quiet. Staff first class, hotel was clean and though the room is very small ( definitely for one person only) it is packed with comforts. Ultra modern, fabulous large very high bed which was lovely to sleep in and free internet. Great shower. Loved the hotel and will definitely return<br />

perfect location (2 min walk to paddington station)<br />very clean rooms<br />very friendly and helpful staff<br />great breakfast food and pastries<br />free wifi<br />reasonably sized rooms<br />comfy bed<br />nice fittings<br />pubs and restaurants nearby<br />price was reasonable for london hotels (special rate thru laterooms)<br />all in all a great choice of stay, esp. convenient for those catching trains/ heathrow express at paddington station<br />

After traveling to London for many years and...
After traveling to London for many years and living at different hotels every time, I've finally found a hotel that hits all the marks for me. The location couldnt be better, just a 2 minute walk from the heathrow express. Service is just excellent and the room just blew me away.

Everything looked new and very clean when we arrived. The lower ground room we had was very quiet, had some natural light, wasn't huge, but was big enough. But the bathrooms were great, fantastic shower. The lighting was very clever, especially the night-lighting in the bathroom. Beds were high and comfy, TV was great and the decor was a good feature.<br />The niggles: Not just this hotel, but why not put a mirror where a hardrier can reach, and keep my partner happy? And a wobbly 5 mins where we thought they were going to argue that the twin we were shown to first was the same as a double room. But all sorted happily for us by the helpful, friendly and professional reception staff. Nice wee cafe at the front, and loads of eating and drinking within 5 mins walk, including a great Chinese restaurant and a real pub just down the road. I thought it was expensive for Paddington, but it wasn't, not at that standard. And so handy for the station.

Nice modern hotel, unfaultable central location and adjacent to a lovely park. Beautiful imaginative decor. Quite a small bedroom, but it was only a standard double. Did not have a photo montage, but the fixtures and fittings were very nice anyway. Nice touches included the i-pod radio (take your i-pod!) and aveda bath products.

Gorgeous hotel which I picked blindly purely because of proximity to Paddington as I had to get away early the next morning to Heathrow for a flight. Generally the hotels in this area are pretty gloomy. However Indigo was very new, fresh and contemporary without being too minimialistic. Very friendly reception and suitcase was taken to room without fuss. Room was crisp white contrasted with the deep luxurious purple/pink velvet accessories - just up my street and just as I would choose for myself. Extremely comfortable - i was lucky to have two windows which had a beautiful view onto the gardens of the terraced houses opposite. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay there again very soon.

Got off to a bad start - the Laterooms system had failed and I was not expected. However, no problem; the reception staff had a room and I was soon booked in. The hotel is fairly new, so facililities within the room were excellent. Best feature was probably the shower, a large walk-in with a huge ceiling rose. Heating controls were fine, the bed and chair very comfortable. The only problem was a lack of a signal for the mobile; the room was in the basement so I had to go up to reception to use the phone. As I was only overnight it didn't matter, but I wouldn't want to be in there for a few days. Overall excellent value and would certainly return.

Convenient for Paddington, and lovely ambience. I come from the West Country. If they keep the price good I won't be staying anywhere else when I come up to London. It was just great.

Great hotel, nice vibe, friendly staff. Room was well furnished and well appointed. Bed comfortable, Aveda soaps etc a nice touch. A couple of things the designer overlooked that hopefully will be ironed out soon: no soap dishes in the bathroom, too much furniture for the size of the room, no plug socket close to a mirror, heated towel rail too small and low down for the size of the towels etc. There was also a bright light to mark the exit to the room that kept me awake.
