Cheaper than all my colleagues - and a central London location. The whole hotel looks modern and fresh - the room was very clean. The bed was comfortable and the TV worked.Free internet (via a cable so no fiddly set up!) which worked well.Breakfast was a bit youth hostel - but the coffee was hot and the croissant warm freshStaff very freindly I slept like a baby - which is, after all, all that you want when travelling on business.

I arrived late. Front desk dealt with me swiftly. Single Room had double bed. Recent refurb meant it was clean. Tea and Coffee. Nice continental breakfast included and served with a smile. Boiled eggs Hot rolls Ham etc etc. I use the hotel regularly. Compared to the rubbish in Mayfair and the West end in this price bracket Hotel 82 shines above the rest.

Very clean room. Friendly staff. Stayed in the flat. The only thing which would have been useful would have been plates and bowls, maybe there were some and I couldnt find them. Overall very satisfied and would stay again!

Cont breakfast OUTSTANDING. Need better internet or staff more knowledgeable about it. Could use a good dusting, but overall cleanliness was great. I also felt safe at this hotel and in this area.

Like many central London hotels at the cheaper end, adequate rather than perfect. Reasonable value for money - comfortable. Would use again (for an overnight stay for business - not for a centre to visit London).

Outwardly the hotel looks good but you soon find that things do not live up to expectations.Power shower looks great but has little water flow.TV had very limited programs, you would think being in the capital you would have plenty of channels.Double room just sufficient space to walk around bed.Certainly stayed in better value establishments.

Not great for families I'd say but great if working or if a couple. Hotel is quite small and has no bar but Baker St is roudn the corner with many pubs and restuarants so no big deal. Great value for money and Id certainly stay again

The hotel was clean and modern, the shower although complicated did the job. The room was beautiful and the view was pretty. around £8 for a taxi into soho so it's very very close to central london. Lovely staff. Will definitely stay there again on my next visit to London.

Stayed at Hotel 82 last week. The hotel is clean, modern and ideal as a crash pad if you need to stay close to the city centre. All the main attractions are within walking distance.

The room I had was bigger and more comfortable than sometimes one encounters in central London, the hotel was immaculate and I thought great value for the location. I would stay there again.

We had a top floor room at the back. It wasn't very big. The bed was comfortable. The incredibly complicated looking shower (no bath) with horizontal sprays as well as both a detachable and a non-detachable head wasn't startlingly good, and leaked a cold spray when first turned on.Breakfast was a true continental one - bread, cheese, meat, croissant, smoked salmon - and was right up my street. (Cereal for the English, nothing cooked). A shame they were so keen to clear it away. There's no restaurant for other meals.

Good things:I was on the ground floor, the room was big and had a nice brand new modern bathroom with massage shower. Had a towel heater, room heater, fridge, phone, a security box, hairdryer, towels, toiletries, air con, tv, plenty of electrical sockets - everything you need!Very comfy bed and a good extra duvetVery clean Nice and quiet area trought the nightFriendly staffNice and warmBreakfast smelled very good - and only £5 extra!! 5 to ten minute walk from Marble arch and on to Oxford Street, Parallel with Baker Street, short walk to MarylebonePoor things:If I was a pessimistic person/ worrier as a lone female then I wasnt sure how good secrurity was. No card swiping required to get into the main room areas like bigger hotels. I am sure security was fine though and they wouldnt just let anybody through! Not sure if the hotel was locked late at night?Tv signal poor and no remoteSkirting boards, desk and chair a little worn - but were fine and everything else was very clean and modern!I found it very nice and comfy and would stay again

The reception area is akin to a youth hostel or doss house. Despite this the staff were polite. As I entered the room the card slot to activate the electricity fell off completely. The flimsy net window covering offers no privacy and lets 90% of the daylight into the room. The tap in the bathroom sink wasn't fitted properly and the entire sink assembly could have fallen down if nudged.A postive point was the fact that my room didn't face the main street and was reasonably quiet. The bed had clean sheets and was fairly comfortable. I certainly won't be back.

For the one night I was there this was functional. Room was fine, could do with a fresh coat of paint, and a bit of TLC but not a big concern. Bed was comfortable, Shower was superficially clean but would benefit from a deep clean.Staff were polite and pleasant.Overall good value and a great location.

Great location, relatively good price, but the quiet room at the back was minuscule, the cleanliness questionable and the shower so poor my partner had to go to the hairdresser to get her hair washed. The breakfast buffet was rather poor.

It is noisy, partly because it's on a busy road but also because it has wooden floors, which echo badly. I was woken by my neighbour at 0500, leaving to catch a plane. They weren't being unduly noisy - it was simply very echoey. A simple carpet runner along the floors would help immensely. A disappointment was the breakfast, it barely registers as continental. I don't know if there was an option for anything else, even toast, as the breakfast staff barely appeared, although did offer some decent coffee. I would use it again on business for one night, as it is handy for Marylebone but not for longer.

Hotel is fine if you are using it...
Hotel82 is fine if you are using it as just a base for a night rather than a longer term stay. I had a room on the fourth floor. The bathroom was very pleasing, nicely decorated and in the main clean. My only concern here would be the chipped soap dish and toothbrush holder which I nearly cut myself on! As for the quality of the bedroom, to say it was sparse is an understatement. It was basically a small, white box with a bed in it. It was very basic - as I said, fine if, like me, you were just usung it as somewhere to sleep for one night, but lacking if not. The bed was very soft - too soft for me and gave me a back ache. The walls were in need of a lick of paint. While it was great to have a 'minibar/fridge' to be charged £1.50 for a two finger Kit Kat is absolutely outrageous and is daylight robbery. The staff were friendly to a point, but in the main looked bored and were found to be repeatedly chain smoking outside the front of the hotel which made for a rather unpleasant entrance into the hotel and check in. Good location though.
