In our room, it is clean and tidy. However, the fridge did not work. The LCD TV was small and intermittently failed. One lamp was missing. Others are just fine, as a basic hotel in a convenient location.

This hotel is in a great location but is pretty noisy at night due to the traffic level. The double room that I had was fine for one person but would be extremely cramped for a couple with luggage. The breakfast is poor and non of the food is either covered or kept chilled which I think is questionable. Oh, and the lift is the tiniest you have ever seen! Don't bother using the phone in the room as the charges are ridiculous.

The listing indicated an elevator. This unfortunately was not in service. I had asked for a ground or first floor room on the booking form in case the elevator was out of order as my husband is disabled. We were initially allocated a room on the fourth floor but the receptionist did swap this to one on the second floor. The receptionist said I should have specified on the booking form that one of the party was disable. Maybe the booking form should be changed to include this. The listing also said 'breakfast included'. Silly me, I assumed this would be a full English. It wasn't. It was a pleasant continental but not what I had expected.

Good hotel for the money. Very clean. Try and get the rooms at the back, as the ones fronting Gloucester Place can be noisy. Great breakfast (includes smoked salmon), very comfortable beds. Shower water could be hotter. The cable broadband was great, no fiddly wi-fi. Rooms can be rather small, though (esp room 201). I've stayed in heaps worse... ..

The hotel was recently refurbished, so the quality and cleanliness of the bathroom was high. The modern decor made it seem a little empty and basic; it was clean and sufficient, but no atmosphere. Gave quality of food and value for money as low as the general standard in London is very low in comparison to hotels anywhere else in UK - incomparison to similar priced London hotels it would score higher, perhaps a 4.

London hotels are either silly money or rubbish. This one fits in between the two. Nothing amazing but all you need for a business stop over. Some furnishing and fittings are expensive items, but the finish on some items in the bedrooms and bathrooms let it down.
Must contain the worlds smallest lift - I used the stairs! I will use it again becuase it is near the offices I visit. I wouldnt travel across town to find it though.

I have stayed at Hotel 82 on a number of occasions and whilst it is always very clean and presentable, my main gripe is the poor showers. Despite each room having an impressive looking power shower, the water pressure is low and often is little more than a dribble. Not what is needed to wake you up in the morning. Also on my last stay, the shower door leaked and the sellotape in place was not enough to stop the bathroom floor getting wet.
I would stay again but hope they can do something about the showers.

Hotels are expensive in London, from the research I did I was pleasantly surprised with the standard. The double wasn't exactly spacious, but we were able to walk round comfortably. The single was a bit pokey (room 103) and you couldn't look out the windows, so only suitable if you are not spending much time in there. Reception staff were nice and helpful. There is not enough tables for breakfast, there were queues waiting and this was not conducive to a relaxing Sunday breakfast. Staff were asked for another coffee and did not arrive. Overall though it could have been a lot worse! Would definitely book again.

Picked this hotel based on other reviews as I wanted to stay within walking distance of Marlyebone station. Although small and having no frills the hotel is excellent value for money with my room being of a decent size and well furnished.
Only minor complaints would be
- the quality of the shower - lots of fancy jets and other features but most of them didn't work
- no blind for the window (not overlooked but could't keep room dark)
Otherwise, all very good and miles better that the dire Travel-thingy just round the corner from the station.

No mirrors in the rooms except the bathroom which is a shame if you need to use hair straighteners. Mini Bar located in the wardrobe so I didn't even know it exsited!

I was shocked to have to pay for the room on arrival as opposed to departure. The double room was so small with no working surface for laptops and bits. Although the Hotel knew there were two people staying in the room there was only 1 big glass available for a drink. There was no bath. I asked for a different room and was directed to another that was already occupied. Embarrassing ! Then informed that the hotel was full. The toilet seat was not attached to the loo. The shower was blocked which meant very short shower before likelihood of flooding. Request for ironing board took 30 minutes for one to appear. Printer not working to print out receipt on departure, but they did send it via email extremely promptly. All a shame really as the design and location all looked very promising on the website. Room was tucked away in the depths, no window and underneath the stairs so heard everyone clumping up and down - in particular the drunk guys who came in singing loudly at 5am. Otherwise, nice hotel, great service.

Modern and fresh. If you are looking for a hotel near Oxford Street then this is the one. Also useful for those visits to have your botox! Don't expect to be fussed over, you won't be, but ut if your visit is brief and either for pleasure or business I would certainly recommend a stay at Hotel 82. Tip: Do not park your car outside during the week to collect your bags.......I was less than a minute and got a parking ticket! The parking attendants swarm the area!

The hotel's in a good location and though the room and bathroom were small they were v nice. However I would not stay again as there is clearly a problem with their plumbing which means the shower does not work properly and was either very cold or very hot and it was extremely difficult to get it a temperature which meant we could use the shower.

Spotlessly clean, very comfortable. A great place to use as a base for sight seeing etc. The room was small but perfectly acceptable. Unfortunately no tea/coffee facilities, take your kettle. The hotel has recently been refurbished and was immaculate. Shower room was small but fine for us. I would not hesitate to stay again. A good central location with plenty of eateries nearby. A short walk from Baker street tube. Parking cost us 30 for 24hrs.

Our room was lovely with a good sized bathroom. The hotel appeared clean and well run. It was very reasonably priced considering the location. We would definitely stay here again - a great base for exploring London.

I booked this hotel for myself and 5 other colleagues, beware if you stay on the top floor as you will have no shower facilities and I mean no water!!!!! They asked us to pay on arrival and now we know why as when asked for a refund we were told NO you need to write into the Manager who was conveniently on Holiday. The TV is also just for Ornamental purposes did not work in 50% of the rooms.

GREAT POINTS: Lovely Hotel, superb breakfast including a First for a London Hotel - hot boiled eggs...!
GOOD POINTS: Large spacious room with generous sized soft double bed, L shaped room with desk, and wall mounted TV. Good Bathroom with Shower over full length bath.
BAD POINTS: Lift is 2person/180kg box about 4foot /120cm square. it is a tight squeeze for two people and impossible for two plus luggage - even two size zero catwalk models would find it difficult is they had a handbag each...! So expect to travel independently and/or lug large cases up the stairs...!

The food was ok, nothing special. We had the breakfast. The room was tiny when you open the bathroom door it touches the bed. Apart that I enjoyed our stay.

Lovery clean airy big room with crisp linen and towels. Shower too small and pretentious with insufficient water pressure. Bedside light switches on one side only. Finally, why oh why though in the age of digital TV and Freeview do so many hotels only offer the 4 or five most basic channels? Answers on a postcard...............

The hotel is a 2 minuet walk from Baker Street tube station, which is on the same line to take you to Wembley Arena/Stadium The hotel was clean and modern and appeared to be newly refurbished. The hotel has a 24 hour receptionist who were friendly and helpful. A continental breakfast is also provided in the dining room. The only the thing that was missing were tea and coffee facilities in the room. We would stay here again, but will take our kettle with us next time.

The hotel was very easy to get to, we got a coach from Stanstead airport and it dropped us off at baker st, which is just 2 mins away. The hotel is also a 5 min walk from Oxford st which is very handy and the buses are very regular with a bus stop a few yards away from the hotel. It was perfect for easy access to sight seeing. Would definately return.

Well located, 10-15 minutes walk to Oxford Street that may be worht it at peak hours. Well communicated by Tube , Baker Street station connects with several lines. Clean and with the atmosphere shown in the pictures...although everything is smaller. Tiny lift, small room not to spend there much time. Nice design in the bathroom but small again, quite hard to get in and out the shower without accidents. Confortable bed, a big one.

Recently renovated; clean but quirky room - TV way up on the wall, light switches well away from the bed. However, good comfortable bed and rooms well separated from hallways so pretty quiet, though I'm not sure how many people were staying when we were there. Good if travelling by train; tube is nearby at Baker St, but nearest car park is NCP Marylebone Rd at 37.50 per 24 hrs.
