Stayed at this Hotel several times. Very nice and clean. This was the first time we've had the room on the ground floor by reception, which is a little noisy but everytime you open the door everyone sees straight in the room. That aside the room is immaculate and we had a nice stay

I was lucky enough to park outside [only 4 spaces], though NCP carpark is only several hundred metres away; I believe that to be less than £5, for 24hrs. Service, cleanliness, room facilities = excellent. Dined in the restaurant, which serves authentic Japanese food which was superb. Several Japanese diners were also in attendance and restaurant service was also excellent. Definitely use this hotel again.

Perfectly fine

Had a 1-night stay here. They gave me a room at the rear of the hotel because that was quieter than one on the front, apparently (main road). That was a nice touch, but the room was a little small, no desk to work at. Room was perfectly fine for staying one night in, very clean.

Lovely!

What a find! A lovely little hotel and great value for money. I used to stay at the Ramada just around the corner but this is sooo much nicer. Very handy when staying in London as the tube is in walking distance. If you are lucky to get a parking space here then even better as it's free!
Just around the corner is a fabulous little Italian which is well worth a visit too!
We will definitely be staying here again!

This booking was made for my girlfriend visiting London alone. She found the hotel friendly, clean and attractive. Good customer service. She felt safe as a single woman on her own. She would certainly stay again and would recommend the hotel to others.

Great place in London

London is not the easiest place to find somewhere good to stay however Hotel 55 ticks al the boxes. Easy to find, limited parking, next to underground station. The rooms are well designed and feel good. The beds are comfortable and the showers great. Flat screen TV, coffee machine and free WiFi which is excellent. I didn't use it in this occasion but then hotel houses a Japanese restaurant. Breakfast offered is continental but of good quality and the staff are very helpful and professional. Limited parking but other car parks close by.

Before booking we spent a fair amount of time searching for a London hotel that was reasonably priced but would also give us a feeling of luxury. I'm pleased to say Hotel 55 fitted that brief, with a very comforting room containing a particularly comfortable bed. Shower was also warm and suitably well powered. A good selection was provided at breakfast and we felt generally well looked after. Other than a few dead ladybirds found in our room, the hotel provided everything we'd hoped it would.

Very good experience

Finding a reasonably priced hotel in London can be a challenge, so my expectations were not high, but this hotel exceeded expectations. I arrived early but I was welcomed, offered coffee while I waited for my room to be quickly prepared.
The room was not large, but very well appointed, and comfortable. The breakfast is continental, and very adequate. I'll definitely use agin if I need to stay in this part of town.

I loved the hotel and location close to restaurants and bars - plus tube station was within walking distance. I enjoyed my stay the staff were fantastic and the buffett breakfast was for me more than adequate.
Only downside they were painting the interior - just outside my room and at the best of times I do not like the smell of paint

Great Base For a Visit to Ealing

Although this hotel is on a busy road the rear rooms are quiet enough. Space is tight in some and lighting is poor in others. Otherwise, the overall standard is good when compared to the other local chains. Of particular note is the standard of staff service and the quality of the breakfast. Both excellent!

Great Hotel, friendly staff and smart rooms - just the job!

I have stayed at this Hotel quite a few times and find the overall standard very high. The only thing I would say, is that on this recent visit, we were telephoned by reception at 2am to turn down the TV, which in fact was off. There followed some banging on the floor then from the room above.. I can only assume that sound travels easily.

Decent digs!

The hotel itself is pretty smart, staircases and hallways nicely decorated. Rooms nice very clean nice bathroom. I paid £99 and in comparison with everywhere else at that price range I would consider this value for money. However it advertises on-site parking (first come first served) this consists of a small driveway capable of holding 4 cars and the off-site parking is the local train station about 200 yards away. I did leave my car there and was still yhere the next morning so wasn't too bad. Breakfast was included and was ok, continental. All in all a decent hotel would recommend it.

Do not stay in room 101

The hotel is nice and the staff are helpful and if you stayed in another room I am sure it would be good value for money. It did specify on late rooms that the room was on a main road, but there is nothing that could prepare you for the noise, it is like standing in the middle of the road and that is with ear plugs in! If you are a very heavy sleeper, you may be able to cope, otherwise forget it. I would stay in the hotel again but in a different room - at the back!

Lovely hotel.

My boyfriend and I stayed for a long weekend as he was running in the London Marathon. The hotel was really close to the North Ealing train station. Its on the Picadilli line and there are always frequent trains into central London. The hotel was really clean and modern, the hotel staff were very polite and helpful. The breakfast was the usual cereal, toast etc, self service- the dining room was really nice and staff always at hand offering fresh tea and coffee! We had a fantastic stay- stayed for 3 nights, and when travelling to London again would defo book up for this hotel. Overall a lovely hotel, with beautiful grounds (made more enjoyable by the sunny weather!!) You wont b disappointed with anything at this hotel.

Easy Access to Ealing

Great location near to North Ealing station. Good hotel, nice design and modern. Unfortunately the room was not as clean as could be. It was also a little cold, but a heater was provided, unfortunately this heater was portable noisy and dirty. Reasonable price though and has a bar and Momo's Japanese restuarant attached which I didn't sample, but from the menu it looks very nice and reasonably priced.

Great value for money

The communal areas of the hotel have been nicely designed with an eye for the boutique hotel theme however the furnishings are a little tired in places. The room I stayed in was nicely furnished and although the bathroom was small(ish) and smelled a little stale, the shower was fantastic. Good hairdryers too which I'm sure will appeal to female guests. The rooms are well kitted out with nespresso coffee machines etc and free mineral water which is always a plus. A lovely breakfast room overlooking the terrace made my stay very pleasant. Thanks to the team for friendly efficient service.

This was our second stay at Hotel 55 and I requested a garden-facing room. This was lovely, if a bit small. On our previous stay we had a larger room but it was on the front, which was noisy as it is the North Circular. The hotel certainly met our requirements. It is a lovely place with free parking if you arrive early enough. Our visit was only marred by a group of very loud people shouting in the middle of the night. Football fans off to Wembly. What a shame.

Easy option if travelling from Heathrow or Luton airports

We wanted a one night stopover that was easy to get to and from Heathrow - this was spot on. Only a 5 minute walk from North Ealing tube station taking you into central London in around 30 minutes. Nice hotel, nice feel, and really good choice for breakfast. The restaurant food looked really nice but we did not eat there as it was fully booked but quite a nice Italian restauratn only 5 minute walk away. Only down side was that we had the downstairs room right on the main road and being the main route in from Heathrow it was a bit noisy - even on a Sunday morning - take some earplugs! Apart from that this was really good value as we paid only £80
