The hotel is OK reception area and restaurant...
The hotel is OK, reception area and restaurant/bar has clearly been refurbished recently but the rooms are in desperate need of updating too. It's in a good location and ultimately anywhere in London is not going to be cheap, but it was more like a budget hotel than the normal Holiday Inn standard

Great location, close to tube station, local shops and cinema. The best parts of tourist London are very close by. Spacious, clean and quiet room, helpful desk staff, restaurant on site.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel...
My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. We arrived around 8pm on Friday evening and parked in the car park directly under the hotel. At reception we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who quickly checked us in and informed us of the breakfast options (£9 if you get a token the night before £13 if you just turn up in the morning). The room was as we expected, clean, tidy, spacious enough for 2 people, TV, hairdryer, bath/shower, wc, sink and Air-Con but no safe which we would have expected. The bed was comfy enough and there was no noise from outside even though there is a pub connected to the hotel and one over the road. We found the hotel to be perfectly situated for travel as it is only yards from Russell Square tube and Euston Station. One evening we ordered room service. The food was pretty average, but the room service staff and process were excellent with prompt delivery of the meal. The pub which adjoins the hotel is great for a quick drink before setting out for the evening and the bar within the hotel is stocked with plenty of wines and bottled bears to suit any taste. All in all this was a great base for nice break with friendly staff within a clean and pleasantly decorated hotel.

The room cost £167 and was basically all you can expect from a Holiday Inn. It was fairly clean and the staff were very helpful. Good locaton v near to the tube but the station has lifts and they get busy, dont take the stairs unless you like hospital food.

A quick booking was required for an unexpected business trip.Bloomsbury being central was chosen.Hotel OK but the Evening Standard was advertising the same room for £99 a night and we had paid £160! the reception staff didn`t mention the deal when we booked in either,so all in all not very happy with Late deals.
