Whilst the foyer looks good, the rest of the hotel is very shabby. The corridors have cupboards with doors falling off, you then enter your room, nothing like the photos which has bare white wooden floorboards in need of a good paint, plain white cheap blinds, the bathroom is tiny with old threadbare towels, one bath towel & one bath sheet, although there were three of us. The bath is no good if you are taller than 5 foot in length as it is a miniature one and you have to get in one end although the bath plug holder is down the other end which you can't get to as there is a solid wall in the way, without climbing into the bath. The walls had flakes of paint missing.
The room is more than miminalist and definitely not worth the money paid.
Furthermore, if you are unlucky enough to have people staying above you who don't want to sleep, the wooden floorboards only enhance their footsteps throughout the night - do not expect to sleep! The staff were excellent though and tried to sort it out.
The garden, in the afternoon, was filled with loud, drunken people, an overspill from a wedding, hardly conducive to sitting there in an oasis of tranquility from the hustle and bustle of London, as portrayed by the hotel.
Food - didn't stay long enough to eat breakfast, as we couldn't wait to leave.
