Where It Is
Hazlitts Hotel is a Georgian town house occupying three historic houses in Frith Street, just off lively Soho Square. There is plenty to explore nearby, from the famous theatres of the West End to the culture of Bloomsbury and the excitement of Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square and Covent Garden. Oxford Street is one of London's best shopping areas, and it is just a short walk from the hotel. To explore further, take the tube from Tottenham Court Road on the Northern or Central Line.
What To Expect
Built in 1718, this elegant hotel was formerly inhabited by the eminent essayist William Hazlitt, and each of the 23 rooms is named after one of his friends. Every room maintains their original wood panelling, and is filled with antiques and period furniture that makes for a very quaint and pleasant atmosphere. Despite keeping hold of its 18th century charm and character, Hazlitts Hotel still makes sure to provide all the necessary amenities required by the modern visitor, with all rooms housing four-star facilities.
