A smile at reception and acknowledgement from the staff would have been nice. Cant understand why there was a fridge next to the bed when there was a perfectly serviceable one in the kitchen

I travelled to London with my husband and two friends to see a show at the Royal Albert Hall. The location of the hotel was excellent and within easy walking distance to the venue. The accomodation was spacious and clean and despite being on a main road we were not aware of any noise. Although there are plenty of places to eat nearby it would have been helpful to have had the opportunity to eat a light breakfast within the apartment. This service I know to be available at other serviced apartments in London. Our overall view of the apartments is very good. Having read some of the other (bad) reviews since returning, I hope, should we visit again, that our experience will be as good . Based on our experience I would not hesitate to recommend the apartments to our friends.

Harrington Court Serviced Apartments provided a rather large, fully equipped flat.Personnell a bit grumpy, left luggage service not available, wi-fi not working ("well, there is an internet cafè next door".......), hair dryer not available (daughter a bit upset!!!).All in all we enjoyed our flat and will certainly return.Thank-you!

Great location and a very nice facility, with staff who tried to be helpful. But, with an array of equipment somewhat different from what we are accustomed to in the USA (wi-fi, telephone system, tv with cable box, the stove, and not a manual to be found anywhere, we found it difficult to achieve full enjoyment with Harrington Court. The staff did volunteer to help, and that they did reflected well on the establishment; with zero, zip, nada, guidance, the experience staying there was diminished. I would stay there again, but only after someone arrived in the room with us to explain every darn thing which had an on and off switch.Minor quibbles were a balky bathroom light switch and a ceiling light lens which had gone awry and made us feel it might drop on our heads every trip into the bathroom. The location is terrific, especially if you're interested in the great museums in the neighborhood, as well as the concerts at Royal Albert Hall.

No WIFI and no hot water at all during stay. Smell from plumbing in the bathroom pervaded the whole apartment and was over-powering. Rodent traps in kitchen.

Everything could do with a good checkup and maintenance. It was not cheap although extremely convenient. But getting very tired for the money. I'd think about staying there again because of it's convenience and location for my requirements. Housekeeping ladies were lovely. Odd job man

The young lady on reception made it very clear that she was shattered and couldn't wait to the end of her shift that finished at 2.30pm - it was 1.45pm. She also took a private call on her own mobile phone from a friend of hers whilst dealing with my check-in! She also did not know how to deal with my cash payment and had to make a phone call. The main complaint however was that I specifically asked for a quiet room and I was given a very noisy room overlooking the front where a bus stop and a taxi rank were situated outside.I thought the noise would die down come about 11.30 at night so I did not ask to be changed. However it did not and therefore I was kept awake most of the night trying to get to sleep. I should of asked for a room change in the middle of the night but I did not want to trouble anyone.Checking out the following morning the same girl was on reception and I mentioned this. Her response was to give me a business card and advised to to call direct instead of using laterooms. I tore up the card outside and decided not to return. However, the room was great, comfortable, clean and up-to-date. Shame about the above.

Very impressive value for money, especially for an apartment in South Kensington. Very friendly staff and helpful - allowed us to check in early after our flight arrived. Good advice on local restaurants. Only downside maybe a bit noisy given proximity to major junction but we were on 4th floor so no problems.Would recommend to anyone with a family.
