Clean room, facilities were perfect for what we needed them for.
The breakfast was great - full english freshly cooked, helpful waiters, with continental breakfast and cereal also available. Not greasy!
Overall we really enjoyed out stay and for a low budget hotel you can't ask for more.
Enjoy your stay!
A little tired in decor in places on the 3rd floor where iIstayed but a overall great stay and good value for money. Friendly reception, bathroom was fine and everything clean and comfortable. Free wifi was appreciated - the signal wasn't strong enough to reach my floor but signal was fine in the lounge area. As a business traveller this makes a big difference and is the reason i chose the hotel. Location was good to re undergrounds and plenty of restaurants in the area if you need them.

This is a great hotel. The rooms were great. The bathrooms were very modern and trendy, unlike most ensuite cupboards you tend to get. The breaksfast was fabulous with the option of smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. The whole thing was great except for when they booked us a mini-cab and a bloke turned up in a car without a meter or sign and charged us 13 for a trip which cost 5.70 the next day in a black cab. This 'driver' was seen later doing other trips for residents. It is a nasty scam which is such a shame because the hotel was absolutely lovely. I would stay here again definitely, but just not use their 'mini-cab'.

I was in a single room on the top floor which was on the small size and may have been a little bit expensive if I had to pay full price for it, but with the 49.50 deal from LateRooms.com, it was definitely unbeatable as far as value for money was concerned due to both the location and the excellent service offered. The room was also nicely decorated and the breakfast is an absolute must because of the quality of the food and because the staff is both very attentive and highly efficient.

Hotel was very easy to find, good location, walking distance of euston train station and % minutes walk to underground station. Both the reception staff and the breakfast room staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the asian gentleman who ran the breakfast room. The room was clean and tidy, a bit small, but for one person staying one night was grand. I had looked at other hotels in the same row of houses and the Harlingford was the cheapest but but that certainly didn't reduce the quality. Would stay there again for any trips to London and will definatly be recommending it to friends

If you are looking for a cheap sleep...
If you are looking for a cheap sleep in central london, in a good area - check out the Harlingford. Perfect for connections to/from Kings Cross and within a 25 minute stroll from Soho/Covent Garden - you couldn't ask for anything more. The included breakfast is fine. My only gripe was my bedroom carpet had a large stain, the headboard was a bit grubby and the shower was more trickle than power. However, it all seemed clean - which is all I'm concerned about for this price. And I don't think you can get better value in Central London.

I was very pleasantly supprised at how modern this hotel was. It is small but very well decorated throughout. The owner of the hotel was very helpful and polite. Great location! My room was located in the basement which had a large single bed, beautifully clean bathroom and again nicely decorated. My room was located right next to the main door which led upstairs, so at night it was very noisy. Being in the basement I also heard and felt the vibrations of the London Underground trains which was an nuexpected supprise!! Breakfast was included and was very nice, a choice of continental or tradtional English. My waiter at breakfast was very pleasant at first. He became very rude as I politely told him that my English Breakfast had not come with beans (which was on the photo menu I pointed to) He then gave me a dirty look, huffed and said "I should have said so in the first place!" Then he stormed off and arrived 5 minutes later with some beans in a bowl. I refrained from making a scene, but he obviously did not care about being So Rude! Other people who where having breakfast at the time where disgusted too. So a mixed report on the hotel, I don't think I'll be staying there again in a hurry!

The room was small but had everything we needed and we couldn't complain for that price. However, at breakfast we were not welcomed for a while and were expected to just get on with it. Eventually we were asked if we wanted cooked food, tea, coffee or toast. These took a while to come. I just feel that a little more attention paid to the paying guests would be an easy thing to work on at no extra cost to the hotel staff.
The hotel is in a lovely area and if you just require a convenient, tourist or central London bed to sleep in, this is a good place to stay.

The hotel was situated in a great location and within walking distance to shops, bars and resturants and was an ideal base for our sight seeing break. The hotel was ten minutes walk from kings cross station and the underground tube stations which was very suitable for our short break. I was a bit disapointed with the room we were givin as it was in the basement and was quite dark with continual noise from the underground. I didn't have particularly high expectations, based on previous experience of cheapish London hotels, so I was pleasantly surprised.
My single room was in the basement with a window onto a v small yard and big wall. The room was small but perfectly laid out, clean and more stylish than standard hotel chain rooms.
The bed was comfortable with nice bedding.
The room was reasonably quiet but I could hear noise from the room above, mainly creaking floorboards as people moved around, and curiously, the sound of trains, coming from the wardrobe. Otherwise, there was no sound in the room from outside.
The ensuite shower, sink and toilet room was nicely styled, well lit and clean, and everything worked well.
The inclusive full English breakfast wasn't as good as I've had in B&Bs but best I've had in a London hotel, in a nice, light dining room with good service.
Hotel staff were all pleasant and helpful.
Hotel is in an attractive, quiet terrace, with local shops, cafes and pub just around the corner, and 5 mins walk from the Tube.
All in all very good for the price.

I often stay in London hotels and this is one not to ignore. It may not be the Dorchester in comparison with the lower end chains this is not to be ignored. I got it through Late room for 49.Pounds. For central London it was a steal. I had a room which yes is small but I was only staying one night it had everything I wanted. If you are very large or unfit you may have difficult getting to rooms on the 3rd floor. It is very handy for the tube and both Kings X and St Pancras. Only one small complaint was the size of the full english breakfast. If like me you like to graze the buffet forget it . Your meal is cooked to order.I will use this place again when it I visit.

The room seemed to have been recently refurbished - it was certainly in excellent condition - and tastefully done. Some noise from tube trains below, but even in a basement room, not enough to interfere with sleeping. Staff were all polite, cheerful, welcoming. The cooked breakfast was not huge, but good quality. This is a very handy location - about 5 minutes walk from either Euston or Kings Cross. I've stayed in another hotel on this crescent (and there are a lot of them), but the Harlingford was streets ahead.

Overall okay. The room was right at the top of the hotel involving a tight staircase. I had a large heavy case but there was no offer of help. It looked clean but the carpet was stained and old. The bathroom was tiny which is fine but the shower had one setting - dribble. It reminded me of showering in a makeshift shower in the outback. I presume there was no force to the water because the shower base had no sides and the water would have poured out onto the bathroom floor.
There was also some confusion about pricing. I accept what I was charged as the tarriff appeared on my booking through late rooms. I stayed for 7 nights and on my booking some nights were 60 and some 85. I dont think the room I was given justified a charge of 85 and when I arrived I was given a slip which simply stated the tariff was 60. I tried to point out that from a customer point of view this is misleading and it would be helpful to put fuller information on the slip - but the man at reception did not seem inclined to take feedback from customers and basically just argued.
In contrast reception staff were generally polite and friendly and the service in the breakfast room was exemplary and the food very good.

My wife and I found the hotel to be very clean and in a quiet location close to two tube stations. We had a lower ground floor room which was clean and nicely furnished though a little small. One thing that could be an issue if you are a light sleeper is that you could clearly hear the rumble of a tube train each time they went under the hotel! This is a nice hotel situated on a quiet cresent within easy access of Euston Road, Russel St. tube station and with Regents park just 1/2 an hour up the road. The hotel is impressive from the outside and the lobby, lounge and breakfast room are clean, tidy and have a modern feel about them. There are great comfy sofas and a roaring fire in the lounge. Our room was clean and tidy, but a little 'worn' around the edges (well used carpets, flaky paint, few small (paint?) stains on pillows etc.). The room was smaller than we were expecting with a tiny en-suite wetroom and shower. For tall people the shower space is awkward to use without getting wrapped up in the shower curtain and water all over the floor! The bed was rock solid and no duvet to speak of, just sheet and blanket combo which was pretty uncomfortable. Although we didn't seen any of the other guest rooms, I can't help thinking ours was one of their 'LateRooms' specials and that if we'd booked direct we'd have got a more impressive and comfortable room (as featured in pictures on their website). The room was a bit disapointing, but not enough to ruin the stay. Breakfast was good (buffet style cereals and fruit with cooked breakfast option) and the serving staff delightfully friendly and helpful. All in all, not bad. We'd probably stay again (booking via LateRooms for a good price) because the hotel is really well situated for city access.

The breakfast is great - I can recommend the scrambled-eggs and smoked salmon (the best scrambled eggs I've had that I didn't cook myself). The only real issues I'd have are that (a) my room's carpet was surprisngly dirty around the edges, by the skirting boards, (b) the bed was rather hard, and (c) the shower controls were idiosyncratic to the point of mild irritation.

The one down side was a shockingly rude receptionist (male) I dealt with in the morning before being able to check in - I'm afraid all the specially designed cushions and crockery couldn't make up for him but I would still stay again and hope not to encounter him.

single room on the small side but perfectly adequate for a one-night stay, good size en-suite. NO LIFT worth noting. Great breakfast, super location. Recommend for short stay!

It was very good and I would rate it excellent except that the front of house staff were not that friendly. The first person you meet when you enter a hotel needs to be welcoming and polite. They just did their job.

Quiet back room on the third floor was fine. Water pressure in shower was poor. Breakfast was excellent. With no lift (that I noticed) the third floor would not have suited elderly or lame visitors.
NB Your section 'Who would you recommend this hotel for' is hard to answer. Why not add the category I place myself in - "Someone who wants a clean and quiet bed for the night with a sensible breakfast in the morning"?

The hotel was easy to find and as described only minutes from the train station. The room was clean and adequate, only bad point being the water pressure to the shower was poor. The breakfast was good and served by very friendly staff. I would definatley use the hotel again.

Light and airy communal areas, comfortable bedroom overlooking quiet leafy square, friendly staff, very nice breakfast, excellent value for money and overall, just as good as many of the big name chains I have stayed at. Will certainly stay here again! (A word of warning though to anyone with mobility problems, the stairs to the top floor are very steep and narrow)

Hotel is on a nice crescent within easy walk of Euston or Russell Sq tubes. Staff friendly. We had a triple room on ground floor. Room size OK, all you needed; TV, Kettle, hairdryer, ensuite shower. Nothing flashy but all very clean & tidy. Other guests were quiet, only noise being creaking floorboards above as people got up in the morning. Breakfast was fruit, yoghurt, cereals plus bacon, eggs etc. All nicely cooked and served promptly.

An attractive hotel within a few minutes of Euston station and situated in a very pretty park crescent of other hotels. The inside of the hotel was tastefully decorated and clean. There are some good pubs and several chinese and indian restaurants within a few minutes walk. A good basic London hotel for business or leisure visits.

Hotel is 5 minutes walk from Euston, nice and quiet bizarrely. The bed was hard but otherwise a great room and great decor. Friendly staff too. No lifts as it is an old building so hence not buggy/baby friendly. The only reason I would not recommend it is that the bed was hard. I liked the funky shower room ensuite but bath lovers may not be so happy.
