My wife and I stayed for one night and were expecting the usual overpriced mediocrity that we have come to expect from central London. However the Halkin was a real find, very good service, neither intrusive or too laissez-faire the staff were amongst the best we have experienced. The room was a good size with a decent bed and was of a high standard (although some of the furniture is looking a little bit worn). The Nahm reataurant was very good indeed, and we had a really superb afternoon tea (highly recommended). We will return.
