The hotel was barely a guest house, in need of renovation and rejuvenation (scaffolding on outside of building). we stayed 2 nights, i had informed the hotel of a late arrival (22.15), but when we arrived there was no one at reception had to go back outside and ring a bell and wait for someone to come down ,there was no maid service beds left unmade after the first night, hairs in the bottom of the shower and broken and cracked tiles. It was noisy it felt like the people upstairs were in our room. The mattresses were hard and thin and we all had sore backs when we left. Also a small point i know but the tv was tiny in a large room and only one person could see it from thier bed. On a positive note the staff were friendly and helpful and for a shopping trip it was a perfect location being only 3 or 4 mins walk from marble arch.
