Very friendly staff, provided good customer service without a sense of "stuffiness". Bed was extremely comfortable and room spacious enough without being too big.

Didn't have the breakfast. £18.00 is a very silly price for breakfast! I would have struggled to get my money's worth. Enjoyed a very filling breakfast at a coffee shop 100 yards up the road for less than a quarter of the price.
Summary
Excellent location, central but quiet, high standard of accommodation, staff friednly and helpful.
Summary
Can't fault it. Great location, comfy and well appointed room, very friendly and helpful staff. Will come again.
Summary
A very nice hotel in a quiet location. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Our room was small but as we were only there for one night this did not matter. I would definitely stay here again.
Summary
I found the Grange Rochester Hotel to be an excellent value for the money. The hotel was situated in a quiet area, but close to Victoria Station and other Westminster area attractions. The room was spacious and included all the usual amenities including cable television, wireless internet (for a fee), and a tea service. The staff, and particularly the consierge, were extremely helpful. The only negative was the restaurant, which we considered to be of only average quality and somewhat overpriced.
Summary
Friendly staff, very comfortable and large room. So convenient for Victoria and getting around London, would definitely stay here again.
Summary
This hotel with period decor of wood-panelling was very comfortable. Helpful & attentive staff.
Summary
Lovely hotel in a good location just 5-10 minute walk from Victoria station
Summary
This is the second time that I've stayed here. The staff were professional, courteous and helpful to the extreme. The twin room was clean, the facilities were excellent and the Queen size beds were as comfortable as any 5 star hotel. The best part was the fact that the bags were kept for us both before our stay and after...That in itself was worth so much to us, it allowed us to enjoy our stay in London so much more than we would, if we'd have had to cart our bags around.
We are already looking forward to our next stay!!!
Very comfortable & staff helpful. Breakfast expensive at £18 so did not try. Good value at rate through lateroomsdotcom for a sunday night. not sure i would pay more.
Summary
I found the hotel to be close to the tube and within walkable distance of areas of interest. We were celebrating a birthday and meeting with family. The hotel staff were very polite and helpful and secured a taxi for us on two occasion.
Summary
Secured a comfortable, quiet twin room at a third of the advertised price, so as the hotel was ideally located for us we were very satisfied! Would definitely like to repeat the experience.
Summary
Extremely disappointed with the room on arrival at the hotel. It was very small, we asked for a double bed and instead had two twins wedged together. The weather outside was hot during our stay and as a result the temperature in the room at night was close to unbearable, even after we went outside and bought our own fan !! Not a 4 star hotel based on this, a good 2 star at best......
Summary
Fantastic location, close to shops and victoria tube, bus and train stations (about a 5-10 minute walk). Very friendly staff and excellently clean rooms. Very satisfied with the price we paid using late rooms.
Summary
Very good location for Victoria. Room was rather hot but not a huge issue - staff very helpful.
Summary
We really enjoyed our brief stay here and wished it could have been longer. Bed was lovely and soft, deecor was really nice and classic. It was very clean by London standards and at £114 per night, not too bad. 10 min walk from Victoria station. Free newspaper in morning which was nice touch. Breakfast ridiculously expensive though (£18). Needless to say, we didn't bother.
Nice park opposite, curtains thick and good at shutting out light/noise. All windows opened so getting fresh air not a problem, really nice staff/friendly.
Would definitely recommend and stay again
I felt the hotel was a little overpriced for the quality of the room. The service was good and very friendly but the room was too hot. I wouldn't normally look for a hotel with air conditioning but as the windows looked at other windows and a wall, it was difficult to cool the room down and it wasn't hot when we stayed. The windows have a secondary double glazing which has seen better days and the bathroom window didn't close which meant that there was an uncomfortable gap which even though covered with a net curtain didn't make the bathroom feel as private as we would have liked. Not a bad hotel but £186 for a room without breakfast and with the above just didn't feel great value for money, sorry.
Summary
This was our 2nd stay at this hotel. Last year for less money we were given a lovely double room with a balcony overlooking the square. I requested the same this year but after arriving an hour after check in but when we went up to the room it was still being cleaned and we were told to wait 20 mins. After speaking to reception who invited us to sit in the lounge we asked if another room was available. We were given the room underneath which was exactly the same. Sadly it overlooked the main road at the front and had a double bed plus 2 singles in it. There was only 2 of us and I'd rather have had the extra space rather than the extra beds. That said the hotel was very convenient for Buckingham Palace, within walking distance, free parking at the wkends and bank hols, the bed was very comfortable and the bath was lovely and deep. I wld book again. I have just been spoiled the first time by the lovely room we were given.
Summary
A large room, with excellent facilities. Trouser press. Toiletries. Plenty of tea and coffee. Comfortable bed. Complimentary newspaper. Quiet situation.
Summary
Great location... Central London within brisk walking distance.
Room compact: however really comfortable and had everything needed for overnight stay.
Can't comment on food as we ate out: not a huge amount of restaurants/bars on doorstep.
Grange Rochester Hotel, 469 Vincent Square, London, SW1P 2PA was an absolute bargain via laterooms.com given the location of this hotel. I was able to book it for less than half the price advertised by the hotel.
Summary
Found a good deal on laterooms.com and overall was very happy with the selection. Reception and doorstaff were very friendly and rooms were spacious for London. Only advice I would give is dont expect a busy lively area, its very quiet on a night & weekend but not far from Victoria Station. Please avoid breakfast unless you are on an inclusive rate as the food is very poor and very over priced @ nearly £50 for two - trust me this is not worth it !!!
Summary
This hotel was a great find on Laterooms - well done to them. On arrival we were upgraded to an executive room which was south facing, no traffic noise and overlooking a quiet sports field across the road. Bar was great, location was spot on for sightseeing and business. Didn't use the restraunt but prices looked good for a hotel of this standard. If the price is right next time, will stay again.
Summary
I stayed here for one night. It is a nice hotel. The staff were very welcoming and helpful on arival. My room was avarage size and very clean. My one complaint would be I asked for a double bed and got two singles pushed together. I would stay here again.

We had a room on 5th floor, small but very cosy and quiet, overlooking St Vincent's Square. I would stay there again.

Summary
Had a great stay with very attentive and efficient staff. Room overlooked the park and was lovely and quiet while only being a stone's throw away from Victoria Station.
Accommodation worthy of the 'hotel' tag. Generally when staying in London, it is because I need to work late and find somewhere at short notice just to act as a bed for the night. The additional comforts of hotel standard accommodation are not necessary. But the inclusion of a not too unreasonable rate for rooms in this hotel under the laterooms.com banner is good and makes a change from some of the lesser quality, and cheaper, places.
I had a single room overlooking a side street. Despite worries about the street light shining in the window, I was able to sleep extremely well - good quality curtains blocking out street lights are a boon, and also reduce the noise coming through the windows. A very nice clean if a bit small (but it was only a single bed) room, with all the standard items you would expect in a hotel room.
No problem with reception at check-in or check-out and certainly a good alternative to the more expensive large chain 'economy' hotels in the area. A bit off the beaten track but not unreasonably so - and undoubtedly a place I will return to.
The room we were allocated was right on the top floor, but the room was clean and plenty big enough for the two of us for one night. Had we been staying for a longer period of time we would have struggled with wardrobe space. The bathroom needed some attention, some of the tiles were a little loose. My husband had a wonderful nights sleep, however I found the bed extremely hard and very uncomfortable. The staff were all very helpful and polite and there was always someone available to help. The hotel was a little off the beaten track, but this did make it nice & quiet for a London hotel. All in all for the price we paid for the night we have no real complaints, but I don't think that we would return to the hotel as it was a little further out of town than I would have liked.

Simply great
Summary
Typical older London Hotel. Good area near to Victoria and Westminster. Bedrooms a bit pokey and aged. Although we didnt eat there, the restaurant did look very nice but very pricey. the bar area was cosy. on the whole adequate for our means for a short break but not one to luxuriate in.
Summary
We were met by a friendly welcome from the reception staff, even though we were 2 hours early. They stored our cases free of charge and gave us a time when the room would be ready. The room was clean and well furnished.
The radiator in the room could not be adjusted, so the room was rather hot. To compensate for this we had to have the air conditioning on all night, which was a little strange on a very cold December night.
We did not have breakfast because we felt the price was a little high.
Over all we would return to this hotel if we paid the rate obtained by late rooms .com.
Being close to London Victoria (10 minutes walk) it's excellent for an early Gatwick Express journey. The hotel is nice, with excellent quality throughout and with excellent customer service. Recommended.
Summary
Very friendly hotel, excellent staff. Easy walk to victoria station.
Summary
The room was very nice and clean with excellent service from the moment I walked through the door. The food was very good and would definitely recommend at this hotel.
Summary
Within easy walking distance of Victoria, a clean, fair value mid-priced hotel.
Summary
After a long day sightseeing you look forward to a nice hot bath or shower. However the water in our room was just about classed as warm. After contacting the reception desk they said they would send someone up straight away. After a 30 minute wait and the need to get washed as we had a table for dinner booked and our evening was eating away i had to go down to the reception desk to find out why no-one had been up to look at the water situation. Someone was sent up however explained that nothing they can do as maintenance is not around on a Sunday and something will be done in the morning.
So we had no choice, took a just warm shower as we had to go out for a booked dinner table.
In the morning the water now was not warm but cold. We could not wash before we checked out. At the desk i explained what happened and they were less than useful. They said none logged the fault the previous night - absolutely useless.
Staff were unhelpful and i would never stay here again or certainly recommend it!!
