The room was a good size (had 2 double beds!), clean and comfortable. There's no air conditioning (it's a listed building), but windows can be opened and the location is quiet. There are a number of local bars and shops, whilst Victoria underground/station is less than 10 minutes walk.

This was a lovely old London Square Hotel. Not big rooms, and old fashioned...but in a nice way. Clean with really good staff. All modern ameneties were there, but with old world charm. Set off leaft Vincent Sqaure in Victoria, even better free parking in the square on single yellow lines all w/e...what a bonus!!.

Incredibly comfortable bed, lovely big towels, delicious food and exceptionally polite service. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. My only negative comment would be that the direct booking price from the hotel website appears to be cheaper than the price offered through late rooms for the date of my stay.

I stayed for one night with my fiancee...
I stayed for one night with my fiancee and we had to give a £20 deposit on check in which I thought was unnecessary. The reception area is quite small as is the bar area and there wasn't much on offer to eat on the room service menu after 930pm. We had a bad experience with a sandwich, ( bread was past its best shall we say....). Breakfast was expensive so we didn't bother with that. The Regency Cafe round the corner from the hotel had a great breakfast and a good price! Probably wouldnt stay here again as there must be better value for money.

Unfortunately, we were unable to stay at The Grange Rochester hotel, due to a water problem with our room! This could've been a disaster if not handled correctly, thankfully The Grange did handle the problem very well! We were informed as soon as we reached the hotel of the problem (having flown down to London that morning we were incommunicado). Very quickly it was explained, they had alternative accommodation in one of their sister hotels - The Grange St Paul's - a 5 star hotel, at no extra cost! They also arranged a taxi at their cost to take us there. This is a newly built hotel next to St Paul's Cathedral, very modern, plush, and comfortable! The reason we were staying near Victoria, was for easy access to "The Gatwick Express" for onward travel the next day, upon hearing this, the hotel generously offered to pay for a taxi back to Victoria for us! The Grange St Paul's hotels' staff were very helpful and nothing was a problem to them!Often hotels' flounder when there s a problem, The Grange group did not, they handled it superbly!

A warm welcome at a quiet and unassuming hotel, my room was compact without being too small and the quiet surroundings made for a good nights sleep. This is excellent value for money on a room only basis in a popular part of London I use regularly for business. As a woman travelling alone the hotel provided a comfortable and relaxed area for an informal drink and meal. The food was good and the service excellent, somewhere I would stay again.
