High quality staff, helpful and friendly. room very odd shape leaving space to use wardrobe& coffee facilities, ironing board very limited, however nice decor and very comfy bed. No air conPosition great for travel anywhere, close to Regents Park, lots of good refreshment around plus shops.

great location, although a bit of a walk for evening meals / drinks out. Quiet, bit hot, had to leave windows open even in early March. Spacious room and comfy bed.

Apart from the fact that the room was small - not really a problem as I was alone - the room was of good quality. The staff were charming, greeting me whenever they passed by and helpful. One minor issue in that the kettle was temperamental. I mentioned it to the receptionist who said someone would look at it whilst I was out but the kettle had not been changed by the time I returned. I had a glass of wine that was only £3.95, a bargain in London! Plenty of tea, coffee, milk etc, again unusual. At the laterooms rate it was good value for money, much better than the hotel where my colleagues stayed and paid substantially more.

I got a bargain rate through Late Rooms for this four star hotel (I usually stay at cheaper places in London) and you can tell from the moment you walk into the hotel that it is 4 star - lovely decor, nice bar area and heavyweight curtains in the rooms. The first room I was allocated was at ground floor level, overhearing the tube trains and a boiler room. However, after investigation, the hotel staff were happy to move me to another room - another beautifully decorated large room. I admired the decor, but I wasn't impressed by the lack of kettle - something that is provided in practically all hotels in this country. The Grange Fitzrovia does offer tea on room service...but at those prices you're better off walking to the nearest coffee shop - or paying someone else to go for you!

Nice location, quiet. Room small but cosy. Quite an atmospheric hotel, traditional in style.

The hotel is about a 10 minutes walk from Oxford Circus on a reasonably quiet street. However, it was badly let down by the size of the (standard) double room - about as small a bedroom as I have experienced in any London hotel and in my view a single room (max). We had to keep moving things to move round the bed and into the bathroom. Not sure if we got this small room because we had booked through Late Rooms or whether this is what everyone gets. Save your money - if you are going to use your room for sleep only so you don't need the posh(ish) ambience of a 4*, book a Travelodge or equivalent rather than this hotel. If you want the posh(ish) ambience of a 4* and a reasonable size double bedroom, don't book the Grange Fitzrovia standard double room. Not value for money IMHO.

Good location near Regents Park. Short stay and didn't try the £17.50 breakfast on offer, plenty of better value nearby. Room was okay, very small bathroom but its London, what do you expect?

Much better than we had expected from a central London hotel. Excellent service attitude from all staff. The only downer was the rumble of underground trains but this stopped during the night.

A good location, very friendly reception, room size ok, liked having sky sports, only real critisism was the hotel could do with better ventilation, very hot. Noisy street outside, but I don't blame the hotel for that as they have no control over it. Very good value for money on the deal I had from 'Late rooms'.
