Funny how most reviews are either glowing or damning. Fact is that this all-suite hotel is very fair value for either business or leisure. My average of £100 per night got me separate bedroom and living room with full cooking facilities and a flat screen freeview TV. The room was clean but only partially serviced for the second of the 2 night stay. The reception is not the most charming but perfectly efficient. The area has very nice pubs, restaurants on Westbourne Grove and the Whiteleys shopping Mall but it's not as close to public transport as some other reviews suggest. Over all very fair value and stays on my list of places to stay in town.

This hotel almost has it all: clean, functional rooms and efficient service. Unfortunately the bedroom had had a recent water spill which left the carpet smelling stale and feeling damp - so much so that I slept on the sofa bed in the lounge area.

The accommodation was to a good standard which entirely suited our needs. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the beds extremely comfortable.I have only one minor complaint and that is the lack of noise insulation to the front bedroom(G01) where you can hear the slightest sound from outside(perhaps double glazing ?) hence the mark of 5.

I stayed 2 nights in this large apartment (I went for cheapest option on Laterooms). I was pleasantly surprised to find a separate lounge/kitchen and bedroom (usually they are studios at that price). The room wasn't dirty - but neither was it spotless. I think I would have rated it higher if in the 2 nights the fire alarm hadn't gone off (briefly) 3 times. Obviously the combination of cooking facilities and the fire alarm in this hotel doesn't quite work. Other apartment hotels seem to have solved this problem!

Great Location, Great Staff - very organised. Very clean - Bedroom freezing and noisy at night due to very poor single glazed window that had dreadful drafts. Too cold to sleep. I would stay again but I would want confirmation that the room had double glazing in the bedroom

Room was good, location suited as I was taking train to the North the following morning, on that front I was more than satisfied. When I went to check out, having already pre-paid I was told there was a charge on my room bill, a charge of 5 pence for a phone call.I pointed out that I did not use the phone at all, who uses a hotel phone in these days of the mobile phone? There was no response and I was handed a receipt. The 5 pence charge was included on my bill. I was not impressed, pointing out that the young man at reception had ignored me and had, without my consent, charged my credit card for a service I had not used.I wasnt bothered about the 5 pence involved clearly but the attitude of the staff - I do not expect hotel staff to ignore me and charge my creidt card anyway. His repsonse was to look pained and give me 5 pence!!Early morning, no breakfast, rude attitude followed by sarcasm. The result was predictable! The air was blue. It made me feel better anyway - just check your bill before you go as clearly the staff at this hotel feel any discrepancy on the bill to be an inconvenience.Oh yes and when two Chinese visitors asked the best and cheapest way to get to Heathrow he recommended a local cab firm. Failing to mention the Heathrow Express which would have cots £30 for the pair as opposed to the £65 he quoted for the cab firm; call me a cynic but does the hotel have a relationship with the cab company. With so many good hotels in the area I would not stay here again simply becuase of this amateurish buffoon!

I recently stayed in a quad executive suite with 3 friends, for one night following a theatre visit. We payed £125 in total which I felt was a bit of a bargain for four of us for london . The room was fine, two twin beds pushed together and a double sofa bed. Bathroom and kitchen were very small but fine for a one night stay. I would say that the photos on the website (especially the grand plaza's own website) were of a much larger and much more luxurious room than the one we got! All in all i think that the appartment is great if you just need a crash pad for one or two nights, however I'm not sure that its suitable for much longer stays. You get what you pay for.

Generally happy with room, except that it was rather warm and the fans were not really adequate. The hob was out of order. Location of hotel is good though.

Generally happy with room, even though it was not cleaned on one day. Toiletries were also not replenished on time, had to request for them. Fridge was not in good condition and freezer compartment was missing such that at lower temperatures things in the fridge tend to get frozen. Need a ceiling fan near the bed area as it was rather warm. Road noise was also quite bad. Location is good. Need to make sure their appliances are in good working condition.
