Fraser Place Canary Wharf Reviews

We booked at late notice as I was running the London marathon and we found out at late notice there were engineering works on the train line. The room was very well equipped and very clean. The staff were very helpful and attentive both on check in and out and also with any information requested. My only comment would be make sure you know where the apartments are situated as the map I printed off wasn't very good; we asked for a better map at reception along with some directions which were both very good.

The accommodation and services was at the usual high standard as in my past visits.

The location of the apartment was excellent for commuting. It the decor was in need of an upgrade. There was a strange smell in the master bedroom wardrobe which prevented us putting clothes in it. Overall the location and apartment were good and I would use again

Really great place - nice to have so much space in a hotel room. It is more like a large suite. Location absolutely perfect for Canary Wharf.

Everything was great. except the cutlery was dirty.

Apt was situated close to Excel & O2. It was very well equipped and service and reception were excellent. The room would have been perfect if it had been cleaned before we got there, it wasn't filthy but a lack of care didn't reflect its status as an aparthotel. Also, the spare duvet should have been cleaned, it had some nasty stains on it. All things considered, and if they just keep on top of the housekeeping, I would definitely recommend it, and we will certainly be going again.

Only 5 mins walk from Canary Wharf tube, then just one stop to Greenwich (O2).
Staff were very helpful and friendly with directions and information. Our apartment was clean and comfortable with everything you need, Waitrose is 2 minutes away for those who want to self cater. Only one downside, construction work was very noisy but they did start at 9am and finish at 5pm. Our apartment overlooked Billingsgate fish market and we didn't here any noise from them at all. I would book again.

Great value for money, very central to our needs and would recommend it to anyone.

Was a great place to stay at. Clean apartment with a great view and close to the tube links to get around London.

Lovely apartment block, not to far from Waitrose and Canary Wharf Tueb - ideal location for going around London.
Lovely view of the Thames and across London. Reception was very helpful and friendly - always a bonus.

Customer services was great and were very accomadating with our requests. worth the booking.

The only criticism I have of Fraser place was the upkeep of the hallways outside the lifts and rooms which could do with some repairing and decorating. Everything else was great, the location was perfect, very near to Canary Wharf and the main shopping areas, our room was clean and the kitchen was very well equipped for a short stay including tea towels, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets. I would definitely stay here again and was perfect for a business trip.

Fraser Place is convienient to Canary Wharf and the Dome. Good transport connecetions to the City.
The staff are friendly and helpful and the accommodation is clean and comfortable.

This is a lovely apartment with great views and plenty of space. Was quite expensive for a couple to stay

The apartment was clean, bright and wonderfully sunny. It was almost like holidaying abroad. Close to all restaurants and amenities in and around Canary Wharf, and easy to get in and out of the centre of London by boat. The staff were very helpful and if we had needed anything, would have dropped everything to accommodate our needs. Highly recommended if there are more than 2 people wanting to stay in London. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen were far better than getting 2 hotel rooms.

I would highly recommend this place. It is near the tube, there are shops around and the apartment was just amazing.

My Brother and I decided to take my dad to a concert to celebrate his 50th Birthday, as he is a young 50 we decided on the O2 and set to finding accommodation near by, as we had invited a total of 6 of us all with differing connections to eachother we decided that the apartments on offer suited us a little better. I have to say when you have an offer of a decent price up in London you do wonder how good it will turn out to be. I was pleasantly surprised, it was beautifully decorated there was everything in the apartment you could need from the towels and a hair dryer, to dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid, it had a lovely view over canary wharf and was only a 10 minute drive from the O2. I have now converted everyone and we will all most likely book apartments with Fraser Place when we stay in London from now on. Impressed... Definately.

I was upgraded from a one bedroom apartment to a two bedroom apartment which was a bonus.
The accommodation was clean but is starting to look tired.
Staff attentive but the computer system was down on may departure and I still have not had a receipt/invoice.

A group of us booked the apartment as a base for my birthday celebrations. The staff were accomodating and the rooms were simply put the best value for money. I would love to stay again given the opportunity - perfect for a mid sized group.

All in all 7 people for 260quid you cant really argue! decent location, decent accom. all good

On arrival we were unsure where to park, once greeted in reception we were given priority parking pass and moved the cars to the Fraser place canary wharf private car park. The apartment we rented was a 2 bedroom apartment with a sofa bed. It was very clean, spacious and definitely enough room for 6 ladies. Check in would be hood if it was not so late in the especially for people travelling for concerts. Overall experience was nice and we will definitely be going back in the summer :-)

Lovely apartment, clean and well maintained. Lovely views over the river. Staff very friendly and accommodating. :) Had a great stay at a reasonable price.

We travelled with 5 people, beds perfect exept for the 5th person who's slept on sofa.. (poor) all beds great! Breakfast super for 6 pounds, but most of all very friendly and great serves from reception.for 50 pounds a night a person great!we will be back!

I have now stayed here twice, both times in a small group of Ladies. Fraser place is located close to DLR and tube and it takes no time to get into central London. There are also great shops and supermarket nearby. The versatility of the apartment lends itself to either families or small groups well. Hardly saw/heard other residents which is great! Just a few small maintenance bits that need some attention to help maintain the high class standard. I will use this venue again should need arise!

Our group of 3 adults stayed one night whilst visiting the O2 arena. Apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable. 5-10 minute walk from Canary Wharf underground, with a Waitrose supermarket on the way. Reception staff helpful and friendly, providing a street map to help us get around. All rooms well equipped, hairdryers, irons etc, complimentary tea/coffee, and despite being near a main road, quiet at night. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would recommend it, especially if visiting the O2.

I stayed at Fraser place back in 2001, for three months, and it was excellent. However, my long weekend in 2010 was very disappointing. Our appartment was described as super deluxe, but it was tired, and many of the fixtures and fittings needed to be updated. It needed a lick of paint, and it wasn't cleaned to the standard that I would have expected for something in this price bracket. The duvet covers were torn, and there was only enough hot water for one person to shower at a time. I was expecting a plush treat and was really disappointed.

Nice location, epsecially for the O2 Arena. Apartments are generally nice but some areas have not been well maintained. The televisions are very old and the channels are all fuzzy. Bathrooms could also use a bit of refurbishment.

This is the sencond time we (group of colleagues attending conference in London) have stayed at Fraser Place and we were extremely pleased once again.

Apartment fantastic, spacious and perfect for the six of us.

We were pleased with our apartment, the views were lovely and the apartment was a great size, we had 5 in our party. The only problems we had were the general upkeep could be improved, our bedromm door handle was hangin off, the main bathroom shower didn't drain properly and we couldn't work our grill. Also the bed pillows are very hard and the t.v requires upgrading in the lounge. Would however reccomend the apartments as the size, location, views and decor were all very good! We will stay here again.

Stayed in a larger deluxe room with plenty of space and good view over the river. Staff very helpful. Gated secure parking. Very convenient for walking to Canary Wharf. Would definitely stay again.

The room was nice however the balcony door was broke and couldn't be opened so we couldn't sit on the balcony, which is perhaps the main selling point of the room. The kitchen side was also damaged and the cleaners placed the kettle over it in the midde of the counter to try and hide it. We also booked a room for three and there was only one teabag provided so little thought went into providing for the customer. Basically, if the room is damaged people shouldn't be expected to stay there and an alternative room should be provided. A complaint was made and no discount was offered. Room was also overpriced.

Friendly customer service but checking in took a long time. Upgraded to 3 bedrooms but to be honest two single rooms are very small. Kitchen is not remarkable just basic.
