Saturday overnight at Flemings

Excellent. Staff were lovely, accommodation was very nice (though the bedroom was just a little small - not desperate, just a little small). Service was fast and cheerfully delivered. Only had breakfast here but it was delicious.
Would certainly stay here again.

Truly an amazing hotel!

Truly an amazing hotel! We booked this hotel for our first wedding anniversary for two nights. The service we received was exceptional and I would go as far to say that out of all the hotels I have ever stayed in, Flemings staff politeness and readiness to help is leagues above the rest! If you are looking for a true boutique hotel, in a great location in London I could not recommend it any higher!

Overpriced for quality of room

Room size was adequate but quality of room poor for value for money.
Obviously paying for the Mayfair location.
Room was too hot when I arrived - in order to open window had to raise wooden blinds which then got stuck in a lopsided open position - and was also unable to close window again [both very old design and not well maintained] . To be fair later the air con kicked in which did cool room.
Television permanently stuck on video channel.
The worse thing was in the morning when there was no hot water for a bath or shower - luckily I had a bath the night before. Given that I was staying there after a party at a local large hotel the hot water non availability issue was the most annoying.

Television was permanenly stuck on the video channel

Unexpected Meeting

Unexpectingly I found myself in London and The Flemings Hotel was a pleasant place to end up. The staff were very attentive and the room was nicely inviting. The spacious bathroom was spotless but there was something previously spilled on the bed skirt that was a bit disturbing. I ordered room service which came quickly however...it was marginal. The water in the bud vase was not clear which set the tone for the meal. Luckily there are many restaurants near-by. Also WIFI should be free! This extra cost is insulting.

The room was very pleasant, and the bed very comfortable, but the bathroom was very small. The radiator made a sound of running water when switched on.
The staff could not have been more pleasant or helpful - really excellent.

Gem of a Hotel in Mayfair

What a find! Beautiful, small, cosy boutique-type hotel, gorgeous decor, super friendly and efficient staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. The roomservice beefburgers were so delicious, as was my smoked salmon and scrambled egg for breakfast the next morning. And they had gluten free bread for my toast! Slept really well. Would recommend highly.

Well appointed hotel, but room very small. Had to squeeze between the bed and the desk.

A night without the children

Upgraded to an executive double on arrival, lovely room, very clean, view out of window to office block opposite but as it was late and the room decor was lovely not a problem. A bit pricey for what it is and no breakfast included in the price. Staff great, breakfast could be viewed as being pricey for certain dishes but plenty of choice and you could eat as much as you wanted.
Newly refurbished bar great and staff very attentative without being a pest. Hotel was altogether lovely and being just off Picadilly ( site was quiet ) was in ideal spot to get around the shops and tourist sites, would stay again for a night out at the theatre.

Single room small and overpriced - but friendly staff!

Stayed in a single room, with a rack-rate of £240+ (but was half price through LateRooms). Just about satisfied with the price I paid for a room that was very small (about 1/3 of the size of a typical Premier Inn style room) - would have been very disappointed to pay full rate.
For a 4* hotel, quite a few small annoyances in the room (broken hairdryer, toilet roll holder that kept falling off, leaking shower screen). On the plus side, all the staff were very friendly and helpful, check-in/out smooth and hassle-free.

Good hotel -well located- very comfortable-excellent service.
Very comfortable.
Only 2 issues -
1 The TV in the room was not facing the bed. A simple device that allows it to pivot so that it can be used for business and leisure customers would be welcome.
2 The breakfast at £18 per head was expensive and few customers on the one day we ate there. Round the corner in Shepherds Market good quality brekfasts available at half the price.
