the room was tiny..and i do mean tiny! the walls were paper thin...drunks come in at all hours of the night banging about the place and making too much noise that we were woke up several times throughout the night! you could hear everything that went on in all rooms around you...above and beside you! the mattress was like concrete...the floor probably would have been softer. we are still hurting from sleeping on that bed 2 days later! too much money for what we got!!!

The room and hotel was brilliant for the money - small but cozy and private and nicely presented.Only negative point was smokey smell in room - I think previous people were naughty and smoked inside :(

Fine for a stopover on business, was a bit cold and basic, funny smell in the pokey ensuite. The breakfast was great though and I did sleep well in a nice big bed.

The room was small, clean and warm, and the en-suite the same. For the money it was fine; we were using it it for one night as it was close to St Pancras, I wouldn't use it for that 'special' weekend away, but would use it again next time I'm catching an early train.

Photos on the Web page were of the wrong hotel, the part I was sent to was accross the road. Tramps inside the lobby, seperate toliet with no seat, seperate shower facilities, that wasnt mentioned on the site. That said, 55 sheets what did I expect? Lesson to self, pay more!!

The one thing the hotel could improve on was the breakfast room, the staff didnt give you chance to finish your cereals before they were bring the cooked breakfast out, then started cleaning while we where still eating. which is rude.the cooked meal was only just warm,It seemed as it been cooked previously and left to stand.

The hotel was really near to the main train station which made it easy to find.Although there was a mix up with the booking, the hotel reception staff were reassuring and helpful. Although the original room was not available, an alternative was given. The rooms and bathrooms were spotlessly clean, bedding was also very clean and adequate. Although there was some outside traffic noise, sleep was easy as the beds were very comfortable.Breakfast was the only disappointing factor as we are vegetarian so only cereal, egg and beans were on offer but all the food was hot, well cooked [not greasy], coffee was good and toast was marvellous. All in all, fantastic value for money for such good clean accommodation in a prime location.

The room was clean and comfortable if a little basic and the location was perfect for us... 3 minutes from King's Cross Station. The staff were friendly and helpful and allowed us to keep our luggage there both the days for our 1 night stay. My only complaint was that the options for a healthy breakfast were limited: no fruit was available, and the only option other than full English was corn or bran flakes. I would have liked a little muesli, yogurt and fruit.

As I was only staying for one night to get the "early o'clock" Paris EuroStar the price was fine and facilities adequate for my needs. Anyway the exercise to the third floor always comes in handy ;-)

The service at this hotel was not great. All the staff I met inlcuding in the dining room had a reluctant manner. The shared shower did not have a separate toilet room, so if someone was showering no -one could use the loo. The shower room smelt dank and mouldy, however, the power shower made up for this.I My room was beloweground and next to a boiler room that hummed all night, in bewteen I could here trains so was very tired at work the next day. would not return to this place.

The hotel is a little noisy given it's location which is very close to St Pancras but great if you are stopping over the night before travelling. Sorry to say, but the breakfast was ther worst I've ever had... my full breakfast came out stone cold!Price is reasonable but there are far better hotels offering a better experience.
