We had a good stay Our room was...
We had a good stay. Our room was clean and staff was friendly. The free continental breakfast was good with different bread, rolls and muffins. We never stayed in an Express Holiday Inn before , as we normaly stay at a Holiday Inn. But we had a good experience and will come again. We went into town to see Wicket, so we parked our car in their car park and used the underground right next to the hotel.

Excellent location - Colliers Wood tube station across...
Excellent location - Colliers Wood tube station across the road. Some nice bars and restaurants within 100 yards and a real traditional "rugby" pub. Two mile walk to Wimbledon Central and about 3 to Wimbledon Tennis.<br />Breakfast was good and accomodation fine but room not as big as usual but that is probably more to do with location.<br />Clean and everything worked in the room.

clean friendly and safe hotel. i especially liked the idea of the car park having locked doors. i felt very safe getting out of my car and that my car would also be there in the morning

We tried to order room service but the...
We tried to order room service but the staff could not speak English. The vending machines were empty the whole weekend and it was really hot with no drinks and no ice! They kept taking the iron board and iron out of the room. The room was clean and comfortable but definately not value for money!

Clean rooms; beautiful continental brekfast with everyhing you need to start a new day in London. Rooms with all confort and big bathroom. Hotel staff very friendly, and above all the tube station at 20 steps from the hotel.<br />Great!!! my best experience in London.

It's been expected to have more space available...
It's been expected to have more space available for the family in the room. Continental Breakfast was a bit light and is deemed to be Full English breakfast including standard items , i.e. eggs, becon, ham, etc. At least had that experience in Holliday Inn throughout the world.

Cistern took forever to fill; no fan in bathroom to de-humidify.<br />Breakfast poor - no cooked food and rubbery croissants that could not be heated.

The above refers to the second room offered<br />The main light in the first room did not work and the bathroom sink was blocked. Surely this should of been checked? It took almost 30 min before somebody came to examine the first room after I complained<br />Second room was very good

Overall a good value hotel. Was pleasantly surprised when we walked in as weren't sure what to expect but the foyer was smart and the accomodation was clean and adequate with a good sized bathroom and facilities. Secure parking which was very handy especially as good leave it for the day & explore London if your not leaving till the evening. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was only Continental but lots of it, although fruit salad was all tinned fruit! Would recommend for a short break venue.

Excellently run hotel in every way My only...
Excellently run hotel in every way. My only criticism was the badly cracked floor tiles in an otherwise spotlessly clean and fresh bathroom. I'd happily pay a bit more for a decent cup of coffee at breakfast. The staff were professional and obliging. We shall definitely go back.

If you are not after anything glamerous this is a good basic hotel, very convenient to tube station on the northern line, although it is a long way out of central London.

The Hotel offers basic but very clean & comfortable accommodation with very helpfull staff. No restaurant in Hotel but reception staff can recommend some very close by or alternatively the hotel has 5-6 takeway menus which you can choose from and the Hotel will call it in & call you in your room when it arrives.. Breakfast was Contential and enjoyable. Great Value for money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very convenient location right opposite the tube station...
Very convenient location, right opposite the tube station. Clean, friendly hotel with a continental breakfast which you can help yourself to, therefore have as little or as much as you want. Receptionist was very helpful in directing us to the London eye.

The Receptionist on Saturday th August in the...
The Receptionist on Saturday 30th August in the evening I think was called Emma and she was exceptional, so helpful and friendly and nothing was a problem. I have never stayed at these Hotels before and I was actually really impressed. The entire place was very clean indeed. I was looking forward to a fry up the next morning and had not bargained on self-service continental, but it was fine. I am going to make a point of writing directly to the Hotel to say how impressed I was and with the helpfulness of Emma.

Right across the road from Colliers wood station...
Right across the road from Colliers wood station. Restaraunt nearby with kids play area selling half price food. Near lots of big shops. Convenient for Waterloo where London eye is. Hotel quiet at night. Would highly recommend it.
