Reception staff were very helpful. Catering staff a little less pleasant. Breakfast was average. Great location for travelling around London. Rooms were spotless and well equipped.

The food at breakfast on both mornings was sub standard and the buffet, both food and beverages, constantly ran out including clean cutlery.

Will not stay in Holiday Inn Express again

Although most of the staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel is close to tube station, the bed was very uncomfortable and the pull out bed that my children slept in was lumpy and had a metal pole in the middle. There was so much noise from the road that we could not sleep. The breakfast was almost finished by the time we got there which was 10am and was not very appetising at all.

Not for families clean but rooms still come across as dingy and the area in which it is situated is not a place for family after dark basically a let down better places for the money nearer the bright lights

Quality of room nad hotel.

The bed was uncomfortable and the duvet was not wide enough for the size of the bed. Apart from this the hotel overall was good. The breakfast was of a good quality and fresh. The hotel location was near a tube station for easy access to central London.

Very Shabby!

It felt like some very old hotel needs a renovation terribly and it was certainly not worth the money we have spent.

Worst hotel i have ever stayed frosty staff complete ripoff dont bother

The price was the worst thing -£175 what a rip off.
For this price I would expect luxury.
The hotel entrance feels like entering prison. The staff just looked me an my friend up and down in a very rude manner and where frostier than an iceberg.
Hello! you work in the hotel industry - have u heard of hospitality or customer service.
Obviously not.
The hotel has no atmosphere, horrible.
Rooms were makeshift and the main bed was a fold up into the wall bed.Wierd.
Dreadfully noisy - we went out til about 1am.Noise started and continued till 4am.
Noise is both traffic and pedestrian.
Oh i forgot to mention - the hotel receptionist made me pay the entire bill before i even got to the room - i was gobsmacked. DREADFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE.HORRIBLE TREATMENT OF CUSTOMERS.
Food for breakfast in morning was rubbish. cheap cash and carry fodder. yuck.
Couldnt get out of there fast enough.
Worst way to spend £175 i can think off
Rip off!!

Over priced and poor value

The room rate would suggest that this was a 4* hotel, not a budget rate hotel. Noisy location, but no air con in the rooms. Very limitted choice at breakfast with watered down orange juice! WiFi is charged extra which at the price I paid I would expect to be in the price
