Great for an overnight business stay

Euston Sq is convenient for the station and most underground lines. Free Wi-fi is a bonus, although access can be ad-hoc, which is sometimes frustrating.
I like a really quiet room and street noise was minimal, although I could hear doors slamming - not bad overally though compared to other places I've stayed in London
Breakfast was basic but did the job and it was great to see fresh fruit rather than the tinned variety that's often wheeled out when breakfast is complimentary. Staff were friendly. BBC 1 didnt work on my TV, which was mildly frustrating, but overall a good stay and good value for the mid-week price

Happy to stay again

The only fault was a lack of bedside table or shelf. I need to have my spectacles within reach, a glass of water and my mobile alarm. The overall standard was fine. I liked the modern design and simplicity of the room. A big plus for me was the nearness to Euston Station.

None of the noise expected.

After reading the reviews before going to this hotel, I was expecting it to be so noisy what with the a & e opposite and on a main road. When we got there our room didn't face directly out to the main road, but it did face the hospital. The windows were very thick double glazed, and there was barely any noise getting through. I think these people that complained of noise maybe thought they were going somewhere quiet... not LONDON! ha ha ha!
Anyway, the room was functional, nothing special. The staff were polite, but slightly disorganized and I don't think there was a single member of staff that knew completely what was going on, but as I said, they were polite and that was good enough for us. The continental breakfast was fresh and delicious, and we went back for seconds. I would recommend this hotel to friends and would go back and stay here.

It was fine!

Excellent customer service, everyone was polite and nice. Breakfast was included in the price so I gave it a try.It was overall excellent, good quality food, well prepared, and a surprising variety for a 3 star guest accommodation
The cleaning ladies didn't really understand what the sign do not disturb meant and I found the fact that they knocked continuously on every door like a thousand times very annoying. At the end of the day your paying to stay someplace and you don't want to be disturbed at daft o'clock in the morning. It wasn't there fault really but I found It particularly annoying.
Overall, I don't have any bad comments about the hotel, it's just next to Euston square tube station, and a 2 mins walk to Euston Rail station which was great for transport etc.
I do think it was overly priced,(even if I got my room on discount ) but it's all about the location so it's a fair amount!!!

Cosy, with sounds of traffic...

The room was nice and cosy, perfect for business. the shower was okay pressure, floor of the bathroom seemed like it could have done with a cilit bang kinda clean almost tempted to clean it myself--- not really the kind of shower cubicle in which one would feel comfortable touching the wall, let alone risking accidently touching with any part of your body. The bed was comfortable, but the bedding could have been better. I would not want to walk on the carpet without socks. justified for the amount of money i paid, for the location, something had to be questionable. Anything above the £60.00 mark for this hotel would be astronomical.

I stayed in thishotel on 24th Nov and had an difficult and uncomfortable time. I did speak to the receptionist about this but she was unable to take any action, I also requested a change of room last night but again this was not possible.
I was in room 001 which is an unpleasant room, very noisy, the lighting is unpleasant, the bathroom is comfortless, unclean with rusty disabled equipment. The TV is positioned in a place that makes it almost unwatchable.
At 6 am in the morning I was woken by water coming through the ceiling of my room whilst someone took a shower in the room above me. The water came through the light fitting and formed a puddle on the floor which was dangerous and unpleasant.
I paid £139 for this room and it was not worth even half of that. I have stayed in this hotel many times before and this experience has been the worst I have had.

Our night review

We were very satisfied with the hotel and staff, the rooms were clean and it was very quiet. The only minor problem i found were the two members of bar staff that served us seemed to be very slow with very little knowledge on the spirits they were serving. Overall we had a great time and would stay there again.

The Staff Did It!

It was my second stay at the Euston Square. My only gripe was that the "key" to the room didn't work (a swipe card) - and I had to keep going and asking for help. However, the room was lovely, clean and comfy - view not so good though, but not important really. The best thing about the Hotel is the staff - especially the lovely young gents - polite, helpful, couldn't do enough. It was very very useful as well to be able to leave our bags at the Hotel, securely, until our train later in the day.

A hotel thats trying to be comtemporary and 'boutique' but unfortunately falls short.
Tiny, dark, cell like rooms that don't feel clean although in fairness the bathroom was much better.
Inclusive breakfast was welcome but very basic.

London stay

Ideally situated if coming from the North and doing business in North London. Expensive for a single person though, and prices had presumably been raised because Wimbledon was on. Would have preferred a choice of hot food for breakfast. In a very busy area, with lots of traffic-thank God for double glazing!

Good value central hotel

Two of us stayed here for a business trip. It was centrally located, clean and well presented. Air con worked which was a bonus as it was very hot during our visit. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, breakfast was freshly prepared and varied enough for our needs. Lift was out of order for the two days of our stay. Key cards for room were a bit erratic, sometimes worked sometimes not. Staff were all helpful and pleasant. Excellent value for money.

Average

My girlfriend and I came to London for a couple of shows, sightseeing and shopping. The location is perfect for this, there is a tube station 50 yards from the hotel.
The room was fine, nothing special, just average for the spend and fine for a couple of days.
The main let down was breakfast, poor toaster which only holds 4 pieces of bread, not ideal when there are at least 4-50 having breakfast at the same time. First day there were no knives or coffee, second day there were no spoons, no milk and the juice was warm. Milk, coffee and cutlery were replenished pretty quickly, you just had to queue to receive one.
If there had been more staff, I'm sure these problems could have been cancelled out.
Overall, not too bad, just a shame about a few small things which could easily have been avoided.

Nice looking on the surface, but I won't be going back. The room was tiny, the 'complementary' wifi didn't work and neither did the TV in our room! A member of hotel staff sat in our room for 40 minutes trying to get it to work. In the end he said 'sorry, it doesn't work', and offered for us to sit in the bar to watch TV? I mean, come on!?

The room was clean but very small, more like a cell with no where for two people to put anything. A very small "wardrobe". There were no curtains at the windows though there was a blind attached to the outer window but it did not keep out the light consequently the room was never dark so the lights from the street and early morning subnrise did nothing to enhance a night sleep. Although double glazed there was npise from the street below.

Grim

Grim was the only word I could think of as I entered my shoebox of a room (so small that the kettle was the other side of the double glazing on the windowledge). It wasn't exactly dirty but the carpet was stained and the grouting needs redoing in the bathroom - all the kind of details that make you start thinking negatively about a room when you look around. Also, the sockets failed to work and so my phone wasn't charged in the morning. Grrrr

Great Business Hotel

Friendly staff greet you on arrival at this unimposing 'boutique' hotel. Located on the corner of the busy Euston Road and the quieter North Gower Street, the underground stations at Euston, Euston Square and Warren Street are all within easy reach. It is a gentle 20-25 minute walk to the heart of the West End.
Although my room faced onto Euston Road, it was not noisy thanks to the excellent double glazing. The continental breakfast offered a limited choice, but what was available was more than satisfactory. Overall, it felt slightly overpriced as the rooms are basic and (very) small, but they are clean and tidy (although my headboard was worn and rather unattractive).
Not one for the family, but for a business trip, or friends meeting up for a weekend in the big city, it is well worth considering.

Stronly recommend others not to stay here

This hotel is a joke and one I will never ever stay at again. Everything about it is tatty.
1st room given to me was described as quiet but a little small. I hadn't asked for a quiet room and this was clearly an attempt to sweeten the pill as the second floor room was little bigger than a cupboard and didn't even have a working TV. After requesting a working TV or new room, I was moved to a ground floor disabled room (002) which had 3 large windows with integral blinds and no curtains. Bathroom was kitted for a disabled person with shower chair etc and the sink had no cold water (only warm or hot) therefore had to use shower to clean teeth! The shower had no tray and instead, a home made rubber strip was glued down to contain the water - it didn't! Up all night because of external noise (no curtains). At breakfast which is served in the bar, I opted for a cooked breakfast (£6.50 extra) which was disgusting - carbonised sausages, burnt egg with uncooked yolks and the piste de resistance, half a tomoto the size of a pear which was uncooked - yum yum!
How this establishment achieved any star rating is beyond me.
