Euro Hotel out of 5 Customer Rating

This hotel is in a pleasant row of small hotels opposite some gardens and very close to all amenities and three of London's mainline stations. Yet despite being so close to Euston Road it was very quiet. We stayed for two nights - one on our way to catching the Eurostar and one five days later on our return - St. Pancras being only a ten minute walk away. Our first night was in a full en-suite triple room on the first floor, which was very roomy and comfortable. On our return we were on the second floor in a much smaller twin room with a wash basin in the room and shower/toilet separate. Both rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable. Good breakfast and all the staff were very helpful and pleasant. We certainly intend to use this hotel again when in London as it is so central, reasonably priced for London and nearby there are many interesting places to eat.

My daughter and i enjoyed our stay at the hotel. the only critisim was that you had to pre order your continental breakfast. where as sometimes you may decide on the morning what you would like, but overall it was a clean and friendly place.

Excellent value for money in London!

The hotel was excellent value for money, friendly staff, they accommodated my needs - unable to walk up stairs. The breakfast was 1st class, the room was very slightly dated (decor) but very, very clean and again for the money paid it was excellent! The view from our window was lovely too looking out on to the tennis courts and although we were next to the main entrance it was quiet. The location was very central too. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Really surprised at how quiet it was in the hotel. We could hear no traffic or sounds of the city, yet only about 15-20mins walk from Oxford Street, probably less if you walk quickly! Very handy for Euston and Kings Cross too.
Due to my slight disability I was pleased they were able to give us a downstairs room, though there are a few steps up to the hotel from the footpath.
The staff were pleasant friendly and very professional. We got service with a smile, a good breakfast and our room was cleaned everyday and fesh towels put out.
The hotel was very very clean and the bed was very comfortable.
Upon leaving we were asked if we had been too warm as our roon was directly over the boiler room. In February this was bliss!
We can definitely recommend this hotel and we will definitely stay there when we next visit London.

The hotel is well placed, in quiet location just south of Euston Station. I requested a quiet room as I am a very light sleeper, but I was given a room right next to the boiler, which gurgled late into the night and very early in the morning, so sleeping was impossible. Unfortunately it was difficult to make myself understood as the staff's English was poor. The hotel is expensive for what you get. I was put on the third floor and there are no lifts, so had to struggle up with large cases etc.

A great find !!

This B & B is situated in a really nice quiet location yet close to the West End, Covent Gdn. Oxford St. , British museum and lots more. It is close to University College London so is a student area but they are very well behaved and it means there are lots of facilities nearby.
The hotel is clean and well run. The staff are very polite and helpful. Breakfast excellent. In fact no complaints at all !! Just a big thank you to the staff and to Laterooms for finding it !

So basic and so noisy!

Great location (literally 10 min walk from Kings Cross), nice building, very kind staff – and that’s all nice. Otherwise so basic, shower like from 80s, room so tiny. But the worse was the noisy – there is a student accommodation just across the (very small!) park and two, clearly popular pubs just behind the corner. Further, there are at least 5 other hotels – guests come and go 24/7. No double glazing!.... All added together resulted in sleepless night, so frustrating & annoying! It wasn’t until 3ish am that it was possible to sleep. Hence – if you don’t mind slightly out of date accommodation and are lucky enough to secure a room with window facing the back garden, it is decent place for couple of nights max.

It was fine. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room not particularly exciting for the money but only to be expected in London. I couldn't get the shower to work but to be fair I couldn't be bothered to ask reception about it as only there for one night and very tired. So customer service gets top marks, all else fine.

The Weekendinblack

I came to London for the convention of my favourite band, The Stranglers. I chose this hotel over the internet as it was very close to the venue and not having been in this area of London for a stay before I had no idea what to expect. As finances are a little stretched at the moment this perfectly suited my budget.
On arrival I was warmly greeted by the staff and once signed in went up to my room. I had booked a single room with sharing bathroom/toilet. The room was adequate for my needs, very clean and well presented with TV and phone, tea and coffee. The shower rooms and toilets were very clean too, in fact spotless!
Bed changed everyday, room cleaned and all personal belongings respected. Breakfast and dining facilities were good, food well presented and nothing to complain about.
All in all an excellent budget hotel I would stay at again.

A Very Basic Hotel

I just needed a room for the night and as I was travelling alone I wasn't too fussy about the accommodation. Given the price - £60 - I wasn't expecting much and I wasn't therefore surprised when I saw the room: it was narrow, did not have a toilet/shower (that was down the corridor - a shared facility) but it was spotlessly clean. My visit coincided with unusually hot September weather in London and the lack of air-conditioning meant the (single-glazed) window had to remain open. The warm night seemed to have prompted a large group of people to party the night away in the park across the street and the noise meant that I only got a fitful sleep. Nothing the hotel could have done about that, of course, and it was the only negative part of the whole experience. A full English breakfast was served and it was very good. The staff were very pleasant. For the price it is hard to beat. Would I stay here again? Only if I couldn't get a conveniently located hotel for around the £100 mark (which at the time I couldn't). It was OK but it certainly wouldn't be my first choice when next visiting London.

Perfect for my purpose

I spent a week here while I attended a training course in London. Situated in a nice leafy crescent, it was away from the incredible nightly noise of London, but still easily accessible from Russell Square. Even with a basic room, I had everything I needed: TV, tea and coffee, a fan (as it had been hot), and a wash basin - which was perfect as I spent 6 evenings on my own in my room. Toilets and showers were two steps away from my door and the corridor was usually empty anyway. Breakfast was served very quickly and was nicely cooked. At busy times, they could have done with a couple more tables, though no one actually minded sharing. Staff were friendly and helpful. I am staying here again for a second week of training - and will definitely consider it for future stopovers in London.

Hotel handy for Eurostar

Euro hotel was a pleasant guesthouse down a quiet street, less than 10 mins walk from Eurostar and Kings Cross. My room was clean, but rather small. It had recently been painted but the shower and basin etc were very old fashioned, the bed was adequate, bur the room overall was a bit dated for my taste. Breakfast was quite good and the dining room looks out over tennis courts in a small public park. The advantage of this hotel is it is very close to local restaurants, just a five minutes walk. My main problem was the lack of a lift, so my bedroom was 3 floors up and carrying a heavy case is no fun! The staff were friendly and efficient. I'd stay again because for the price it was not a bad deal compared to many London hotel prices.
