Where It Is

Located just a short distance away from the busy transport hub of Victoria, Eccleston Square Hotel is also close to one of London's best loved attractions, Buckingham Palace. Visitors can see the Queen's residence and then take a stroll through St. James's Park into Westminster and the Houses of Parliament, while it is also not too far to walk into Knightsbridge and the famous Harrods store.

Getting Around

Depending on how much luggage you are carrying, Victoria train station is within walking distance of the hotel. If you are coming from Gatwick Airport, the convenience does not end there, with the Gatwick Express service getting you to Victoria in just half an hour.

Victoria tube station is conveniently situated on the Circle, District and Victoria Lines, and Eccleston Square Hotel is also easily accessible from here. You can get to Victoria from other big stations such as Kings Cross St Pancras, Liverpool Street and Paddington without even having to change trains.

As well as this, there are plenty of bus routes that run close to the hotel. The number 11 service runs into Westminster, 211 runs along the fashionable King's Road and 436 runs up along the edge of Hyde Park into Paddington.

What To Expect - Rooms

Eccleston Square Hotel is an establishment where the rooms really are the star. Each one is packed with exciting, innovative technological features, starting with the adjustable beds created by renowned Swedish manufacturers Hästens. The hotel proudly informs guests that it is the only accommodation in London to provide an iPad 2 in every room, which can be used to order room service or wake up calls and cater for other aspects of your London visit such as booking restaurant tables or theatre tickets.

The bathroom is also packed with luxury; step into the rainfall shower and marvel as the glass wall frosts up automatically. Then, once you are out of the shower, you can watch the television built into the steam-free mirror.

Back in the bedroom area, you can sit back and relax with a 46" 3D television, and you can also electronically close the curtains and set your do not disturb sign without having to get up, all while listening to your favourite songs on a state-of the-art surround sound system.

What To Expect - Dining

Bistrot on the Square is a very busy eatery indeed, with sittings for breakfast (7-10:30am), lunch (12-2), afternoon tea (3-5), pre-theatre (5:30-7) and dinner (7-10:30pm). The Sunday American Brunch menu, served until 5pm, is a particular highlight, with all-day breakfast, blueberry pancakes with maple syrup and Eggs Benedict just some of the options available.

The menus have been created in a French bistrot style, with dinner dishes such as French onion tart fines and Cornish moules marinière nestled among further tempting delights such as crab tempura and pumpkin ravioli.
