In the centre of London a stone's throw...
In the centre of London, a stone's throw from Piccadilly and theatre-land, and the best shopping streets in town, yet tucked away off a little mews square, this is the perfect place to stay for peace and quiet, and efficient, unassuming service. Checking in and out each took 5 minutes. The room was small but perfectly adequate, and a very comfy bed. And the complimentary chocolates were the best I've had in a long time. Couldn't have asked for more.

Nice room, but with very noisy air conditioning (even when turned off !).
My shower ran cold, reported it to reception straight away, no recompense.

Although had booked a twin room for myself...
Although had booked a twin room for myself and a visting friend from Canada after check in we were shown to a very small double. Upon complaining about this we were asked to wait in the room while the staff found us a twin. After several minutes we decided that the best course of action was to go back down to reception. Here we were told that there was no problem and the beds would be split and the room rearranged as a twin. We went out and returned after 3 hours to be told that they couldn't transform the room and basically "take it or leave it". We complained again and we told that a double was available for more money. We said this was totally unacceptable as we had a firm booking # and had already registered. Finally after threatening legal action we were eventually given a larger twin. The rest of our 1 night stay was enjoyable and the staff in the bar very friendly and efficient.
