Very pleasant

I had a free upgrade to the two bedroom apartment. I really liked Dolphin Square, its near Pimlico tube and was very quiet. Very comfortable, it did feel like an apartment rather than a hotel.

Bland but OK

A strange setup, a hotel room but in truth the impression came over of a few room tacked on to a large rental complex. The room was adequate but somewhat dark. The bathroom was fine but a casual chair in the bedroom would have helped. The reception desk service was fine on check in but no interest on checking out re quality of stay. Reasonable value but they need to work on the hotel concept/service.

Stifling room - heat on all night. Lovely big room and giant double bed though. Loo paper the thinnest possible!

It's good value for money

Room was a nice size just lacked a little "atmosphere" because it's just painted white with nothing on the walls. It was however clean and tidy with nice bedding and towels. By my fourth night I felt it had turned into a cell but overall it was good. Bed made daily and towels changed. It's few minutes walk to Pimlico tube and a brisk 15 minute walk to Victoria so if you're going to see Billy Elliot or Wicked, it's walking distance-if you know your way. All staff were friendly and helpfull. There is a supermarket on site and an off licence. The gym and pool are superb and is included in the price. Towel and a selection of toileteries free. Lovely brealkfast although the pricing is a bit strange. It's £14.95 for full english including coffee and toast but you can't then have a bowl of cereal as that's extra. I had a bowl of porridge on my 3rd and fourth days and it's still £14.95 because I had prepaid. I would recommend the restaurant for breckie and dinner but don't prepay just pay on the day-it's the same price and if just have a bowl of cereal you will only pay for that. I have stayed in a few "hotels" in the last six months and this matches what they offer and more!! As usual WIFI is charged for at £35 per week although it's free in the foyer

Just the job

Compact apartment but very clean, good shower, lovely bed, good kitchen and very friendly reception even though we arrived at 23.30 and were only staying one night. As an aside the building itself is very handsome and has a lot of interesting history. Only 5 minutes from Pimlico tube.
Bonus that you can use the onsite pool/gym and walk around the quadrangle. All in all, good value, and nothing like some horror stories I read from those staying in some serviced apartments such as untidy rooms and a worrying inability to find anyone onsite if there was a problem.
